    I must first commend the wonderful, professional service from the moment I asked them a question over WhatsApp all the way until I stepped out of the salon. A true sense of omotenashi with small personal touches that made me feel very secure and welcome as a first-time customer. I booked the Kaihuku head spa & haircut with Aya who was really patient with me about my questions and insecurities about my hair. I personally am very satisfied with the haircut I got because she was able to give me volume and structure, while somehow managing to make sure my natural waves (which I always struggle with) don’t go out of shape, especially since I don’t particularly style my hair. I believe this shows her great technique and I really appreciate the confidence it has given me! Also, Kaihuku spa was incredible, super relaxing and Aya is very considerate in her movements, checking the massage pressure and being careful not to splash my face. My only feedback is that since the head spa area is technically just a curtained-off area, it can be a little distracting when other clients come in to the adjacent chairs to have their hair washed. Nevertheless, I still managed to unwind and enjoy the benefits of the Kaihuku spa. I look forward to going again <3

    My daughter had her first hair colour highlights at MICHAELA under the recommendation of my cousin. Mr Endo-san is a professional hair stylist and he listened to our concerns and needs and recommended a nice haircut and colour highlight which suited my daughter very well!! 👍👍 The receptionist attending to us was polite and attentive and the clean and pleasant salon environment contributed to a very positive experience for us! Highly recommended!

    I am so thankful to aya, the most professional and attentive stylist！ She suggested me to cut my damaged hair shorter and an alternative hairstyle, which turned out to be even better than I expected! and I am very happy with my hair, thank you!❤️

    The salon is conveniently located right opposite Clarke Quay MRT, making it easily accessible. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the attention to detail—like the welcome drink with a personalized note featuring my name. The salon is bright, clean, and has a serene atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve been transported to Japan. The staff and customers are mostly Japanese, and though the environment is Japanese-speaking, it didn’t hinder our conversation. A big thank you to my stylist, Mr. Kenta, who understood my desire for low-maintenance hair without compromising the length. Highly recommend this place for a truly unique and personalized experience!

    I had an amazing experience at MICHAELA with Aya as my stylist! I went in for a haircut and the Anti aging Straight Perm, the results were beyond my expectations.

    Before the treatment, my hair was frizzy, unruly, and difficult to manage—especially in Singapore’s humid weather. But after Aya worked her magic, my hair became smooth, silky, and naturally straight—exactly what I had hoped for!

    The salon itself is bright, clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The entire team was attentive and professional, making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. Aya’s attention to detail and expertise truly made a difference, and I could tell she genuinely cared about achieving the best result for my hair.

    Not only did I love my new hairstyle, but I also received so many compliments on the same day—which just proves how beautifully done it was! I’ll be coming back for sure.

    Pampered myself with a wash, cut, dye, treatment and perm. It was a great experience, very relaxing. Place was nice, very clean with a good view too! They also serve tea and sweets. Service was 💯

    Did a Sara Spa Treatment hoping it would help manage my curls. Aya was my stylist and she was very professional and did a good job. The Sara Sara treatment however, did almost nothing to smoothen the frizz. The straightening at the end actually fried my hair. The good thing though is that the curl pattern is still intact. I suppose the treatment may work better on straight or fine hair. I didn’t go in with a lot of expectation that they would know how to handle curly hair since they’re a Japanese hair salon but they tried. Bottom line, I wouldn’t do the Sara Sara treatment again – the rating is for their service.

    Kaihuku spa (Scalp treatment) and haircut with Aya on Xmas Eve was a really delightful experience. A must-try for folks who are looking for a pampering treat for their scalp. Aya was professional, warm and friendly. Thank you so much.

    From the attentive staff to the thoughtful gestures including a choice of types of tea or coffee and a little snack presented in a lovely tray as well as a lap pillow, it was the start of a wonderful experience at Hair Salon Tokyo Michaela.

    The soda spa was very relaxing and slowly lulled me into a power nap.

    The highlight of my visit was the haircut. Kenta, the hair designer I picked was very attentive, consultative and professional. Loved the new look and I already look forward to my next visit.

    Had my first visit to Hair Salon Tokyo MICHAELA and it was an absolute delight! The atmosphere was relaxing, the service was exceptional, and the results were beyond my expectations.

    My hairstylist, Aya AHIKO, gave me a fabulous new haircut just in time for the upcoming Chinese New Year. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no surcharge during this festive season. Not only did I get a fresh new cut, but I also had a hair colour touch-up. With my natural curls, my new haircut has got me feeling so ready and refreshed.

    As a new customer, I was eligible for a 10% discount off with any of their services or the chance to enjoy their relaxing free soda spa 🧖‍♀️. I chose the latter, and my hair felt so soft. The whole experience was incredibly calming and enjoyable.

    If you’re looking for a great hair transformation, I highly recommend Hair Salon Tokyo MICHAELA and Aya AHIKO 💖. I feel truly pampered and confident with my new hairstyle.

    It is easy to find any salon but it is not easy to find a salon that offers good haircut, hair colour treatment and hair treatment. I am glad I found Hair Salon Tokyo Michaela by chance and had a beautiful haircut before the Chinese New Year starts.

    I enjoyed how professional the staff was in handling my hair and the thoughtful gestures I experienced was wonderful. Most importantly, Kenta can understand my needs during the hair consultation. With his meticulous care in handling my hair, I am looking forward to my next visit.

    Excellent first visit! Can’t believe there is such an authentic Japanese hair salon in Singapore that truly delivers and made me feel like I am in Japan! I’m so happy that my soft perm turned out voluminously pretty and natural. Thank you!

    Professional salon which take cares of their customers very well. Endo San is an experienced hair designer. I did hair cut and Soda Spa. I trusted his skills and it turn out well! The spa is something magical which you should try. The salon located at a very convenient location, just opposite the MRT & beside a bus stop.

    MICHAELA is a Japanese hair salon, and this was my first time having my hair done by a Japanese stylist. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed with drinks and thoughtfully prepared snacks. The salon itself is clean, spacious, and very comfortable – I felt completely at ease throughout my visit.

    My hair stylist, Kenta-san, was incredibly friendly and attentive. I didn’t have a specific style in mind, but I shared my concerns about not wanting my hair too short or having bangs. He understood exactly what I was looking for and created a style that’s just the right length. He also gave my hair a soft, stylish perm that’s fresh and demure – I’ve never tried this look before and I love it!!

    In the past, I’ve often been anxious about my hair not meeting my expectations, but this time was different. From the very first cut, I felt confident it would turn out beautifully – and it did! I feel very confident and natural 😍

    Overall, amazing result with superb service. I’m truly impressed. Thank you so much, MICHAELA, Kenta-san, and the staffs! Will definitely come back!

    This is my first visit to Michaela… Upon arrival I was greeted by Clara and felt her warm positive vibes… She assisted me to settle in comfortably, offering me drinks, cushion, even checked if I need to charge my mobile phone.
    Kenta sama is very thoughtful and took into consideration my hair condition, especially how I style my hair at work before giving me a mid long layered cut. Overall look was great.. Kenta sama is able to create the layered result beautifully, creating volume to my already thinning hair.
    I was attended by a petite young lady, regret not getting her name, for scalp cleansing. Despite her petite build, she is strong, and provide the right pressure during the treatment and her hair washing technique is awesome. The whole process was so comfortable,I dozed off during the 25min treatment. I was offered blanket before the treatment which I did not expect at all.
    Introduction of their services was given, But there’s definitely no pushy or hard selling. I felt so comfortable throughout the whole time I’m in the salon. Definitely will be back again.

    I had a delightful and relaxing experience with the bubbly hairstylist Kenta for transforming my hair last week! ☺️ The staff were highly professional and attentive to my needs compared to other salons, and I was given valuable advice after, I highly recommend their services.

    I have never tried hair extensions before and I am so happy and impressed with the results. I tried the Tsuya Kami extensions! Love how natural it turns out. The process was painless and fuss-free! What makes it even better is the low maintenance! I can exercise (sweat) and shower as per usual.

    Really highly recommend! I have always wanted to bleach/highlight my hair. With extensions, I can achieve the same results in 1.5 hours!

    The service here is superb. Everyone was so attentive to details. All in all, the customer service is awesome. Also, shoutout to my hairstylist, Kenta who is super meticulous!

    I will definitely come back to try out their other services! If you are looking for Japanese Hair Salon, come try Michaela out 😊

    I am not a customer here.
    But I really want to say THANK YOU to MICHAELA

    I had very hard time to find hair salon where providing both hair arrangement and face make up for my ROM day but most of the hair salon provides hair arrangement only.
    I checked many salons in town, also inquired many as well.
    When I inquire about the menu, MICHAELLA replied me that there is no makeup service.
    And MICHAELLA introduced me another hair salon where provides services I’d been looking for!!
    Thanks to MICHAELLA ‘s advice, I was able to arrange my ROM prep for my hair and makeup together and successfully completed my ROM day.
    Without MICHAELLA ‘s advice, I would have further hard time to find the hair salon by myself.

    This is the true customer service.
    THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
