    Hair Director Minji graduated from the beauty art department in Korea, and holds the Korean hairdressing and barbering licences. She has more than 15 years of hair styling experience in Korea and Singapore, having been the dedicated hair stylist for several Korean celebrities for different occasions. She is a trained hair colourist and has completed courses conducted by top brands including Shiseido, Aveda, Wella, Milbon and Trichologist.

    Was recommended by my friend to Minky, and she did an amazing job! She cut my hair exactly the way I wanted and suggested a beautiful color that suits me perfectly. My hair feels soft and healthy, not dry at all after the dye. Highly recommend!

    I had a positive experience at Unnie. Minky was friendly and focused on delivering the style I showed her, and I appreciate her attention to detail. One thing that stood out to me was the hair wash (eyes were covered which gives me a better experience).

    I asked for full head color (no bleach) , root perm and hair cut. First timer has 20% off.
    Love the service and please see the attached photo – left side was taken right after the appointment and the right side was taken 5 days later. It’s very easy to maintain the root perm.
    I will go back to the hair salon.

    First time with Unnie. I have to say the overall service is so good!! My stylist, Minky was professional. She took the time to understand my kind of hair style that I want and offered expert advice. During the overall process, it made me feel so comfortable.     It is my first time here and I love how cozy the place is. Minky also helped to advise on the hair style and color for me. Though it wasn’t easy but thank you for helping to fix a bad haircut 🥺 I will be back when the hair grows out more ❤️

    I decided kind of last minute that I wanted to get a haircut, soft rebond, and color. Minky was really nice about it and even skipped her lunch break to do my hair….I have short, wavy hair, which can be tricky to cut after a rebond because it tends to get uneven. But Minky did an amazing job. She was very meticulous and gave me a great cut. The whole experience was really positive. Minky was friendly and professional, and she made sure I was happy with everything. I’m really pleased with how my hair turned out and I’ll definitely be back.

    Have been looking for a good hair stylist in sengkang area that suits my daughter and i. Glad to found unnie’a korea hair salon. Like the cozy environment. Comfortable chair with nice tea. Kpop music which my gal likes. Director, Minky is very friendly, and will give good recommendation. Definitely coming back.

    Minky was the only stylist in the salon, but she did an excellent job! I brought my younger sister in for a haircut since her hair was getting too long. Minky took the time to communicate thoroughly before starting, even offering advice on how the hair would look if cut shorter. The end result is stunning, and the experience was absolutely worth the price!

    Very good service! Minky is extremely detailed, even with a relatively simple haircut. I appreciate that she made sure the style looked neat and clean, while also being easy to maintain. An excellent haircut.

    Appreciate that she was also able to advise which haircuts I liked would suit my face best. Definitely worth a visit to the salon.

    Brought my 1 year old son for haircut 2 days back. Cutting hair for my son is not an easy feat at all. Because he was scared, he cried and eventually led him to vomit out all his breakfast & lunch in the salon. So you can imagine the kind of disaster it has been. We also felt very embarrassed and bad about this situation.

    Luckily Minky and her colleague, they were both very kind and patient. Told me to take our time.

    End up, Minky have to help cut my son’s hair outside of the salon 😂

    Even though the situation was chaotic, the haircut turned out very well!! The cut was even overall although he kept moving about pretty constantly.

    I was still thinking if Minky will even accept us as her clients in future because of the vomiting situation 😅

    Anyway, we will be back and my husband is considering to try cutting at this salon as well.

    My first visit to Unnie’s and I did a Cinderella treatment. Excellent service. Minky was pleasant, very detailed and professional. It was a great experience. My hair now looks very smooth and shiny.

    I came across the advertisement for this place on social media and decided to make an appointment with Unnie’s Hair Salon. The appointment booking process was quick and responsive and reminders were sent just in case you forget. Director Minky was very friendly from start to finish and always checking up if everything is okay during the cut. I am happy with how my hair cut turned out and a big thank you to Director Minky’s work. I would definitely return again and recommend a visit to anyone looking to have a nice place with great service.

    I visited on 2nd October for a haircut and volume rebonding, and I’m extremely satisfied with the service! Minky was professional, and paid great attention to detail. My hair looks fantastic and feels so smooth. The whole experience was relaxing, and I really appreciated her expertise. Highly recommend this salon for anyone looking for quality hair services!

    I had a bad perm at another salon a week before, fortunately made an appointment here, and they did a good job reshaping my hair with layers and taking the damaged ends off! The haircut itself was really quick which I appreciate, cos I’m always tight on time!

    Visited in July with my 4yo. Unnie was lovely and attentive to my girl whenever she needed something from me while I was having my hair cut. Really appreciated that.

    Compliments to Jina. Love the layered cut. Likely my first time and I really love it. Even till today, 3 months later I still love how the layers look.

    The hair cut is abit too pricey 😭, Used the 20% first time promo, it was OK. Would be a 5 star if the price is abit more comfortable 😊🫶🏻

    Super love my new hair cut and colour !! I was skeptical at first when Minky recommended Ash brown to cover my grey hair . It turned out to be way better than what I expected and my hair is now so glossy and soft . Also, they don’t upsell or push you to buy package like what other salons did. Thumb up for the experience and services. Will definitely come back again !!

    I was introduced to this salon by my sister and had a very pleasant experience. I must say, I’ve never had such a seamless hair dye and cut without a long waiting time, even with an appointment. Other salons I’ve been to typically take over 3 hours for the same procedure. I also appreciated the professionalism when I asked if my husband could get a quick haircut last minute. Although there were empty seats, they politely declined, showing that the salon respects their clients’ schedules and prioritises maintaining smooth service, rather than accepting walk-ins for a quick profit.

    Not forgetting to mention, Minke gave me the exact haircut I was requesting and the perfect color dye I was hoping for 🙂

    My very first iron perm after consulting with the Director, Minky. The result was excellent as the perm created my hair volume for easy styling and maintenance. Minky understood my concerns during the discussion process and recommended a new idea which I’ve never tried prior but boldly accepted. Looking forward to explore different types of hair styling with Minky. She is professional, patience, and has an eye for detail. Highly recommended to anyone who wishes to have a makeover for your haircut.
