    Have been here twice for haircuts. I would highly recommend it for the amazing hair wash and head massage they provide before a haircut. You truly come out feeling like a different person, not just cause of the fabulous new hairstyle, but because you just feel so refreshed.

    Most hair salons open from 10am onwards while Trimmings opens at 9am, which allows you to start your day bright and early.

    Will try their other services in the future!

    My wife and I found Trimmings, looking for a haircut and color for both of us, and we were not disappointed at all. Shout out to Ivan & Desmond for making us look pretty and making our trip worth it so far!

    Hey so it’s my first time with Trimmings. I brought my mom there and while the place was clean and smells amazing, both of us felt that the pedicure massage was not worth it for the price, it was way too short and it seems like there was not much effort given in the massage that we paid for. Plenty of nail colors to pick from tho and friendly staff.
    All in all, I felt the whole experience could have been so much better especially since it was for my mom and it seems like she didn’t really enjoy it as expected.

    I booked a haircut and mani & pedi. When I was there, I changed my mind to get a hair treatment instead. They’re flexible about it and I enjoyed the music. I enjoyed my mani pedi too. The section for mani pedi is perfect for people watching – not sure where else I can get this kind of spot in SG.

    This place is mediocre. The lady forgot about me for 20 minutes with nary an apology. I might be a broke student but I’m still a customer! It is nice and sunny inside and in Dempsey which is probably the main draw.

    If you are looking for a full service salon I highly recommend Trimmings Salon & Spa. I have been going to the Orchard Rd location (near Tanglin Mall) for my hair since moving to Singapore. The service is amazing. I am always happy with the results. Sean knows exactly what to do with my hair – great colour, great cuts. He is a master of his craft and is such a nice person. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the head and shoulder massage is incredible.

    Always satisfied with the services here. Therapists are friendly and attentive to personal details. I do not purchase their packages but they still keep a record of my preferences. Quality of service is high too compared to other establishments that charge similar prices. Staff are always neat and tidy, humble in their approach

    Best salon I have been to so far in Singapore. Staff is very welcoming and hairdressers take time to understand what you want and ensure you are happy with the final result. There is a relaxing ambience and they use good products. The price is in line with most salons in Singapore – there are also various monthly promotions and during my last visit I paid $133 for hair colour (regrowth).

    The usual style promise you one thing and deliver something else and then say I wasn’t the one who got the instructions. Very shoddy service avoid this place never go there

    An absolute miss never go to this place it’s a huge disaster and disappointment from the moment you walk in. Untrained staff at the reception really useless

    Always a good time here. No rushing or hard selling. The atmosphere was calm and comfortable. Moon and Jo were attentive and careful when doing my nails. Thank you for the good experience!

    I booked four hours of treatments (massage, facial, waxing, pedicure). I arrived 30 mins early and checked if the treatment may be able to start sooner, or if I should go and get a coffee. The receptionist said it would be five minutes. It was a 35 minute wait. This should have been my first red flag.

    The facial and eyebrow shaping was fine; but the massage was less than average. The masseuse didn’t listen to feedback around the pressure (her English wasn’t very strong). She also sniffed and wiped her nose throughout, so clearly shouldn’t have been at work.
    I had booked the hot stones however these were not used, nor was it addressed with me. I decided not to proceed with my pedicure (I went to the Nailist in Holland Village instead). When I went to pay, I asked to see the invoice. Despite the bad experience and clearly stating that the hot stones were not used, they had left the SGD 25 supplement on my bill.

    The restroom is a walk from the very basic spa treatment rooms, into another building and through the hairdressing floor. The door was being held open by a full waste bin, which I had to move with my foot to be able to close the door. There was nothing to dry hands with in the restroom, either.

    What was supposed to be a relaxing, enjoyable day was not. Recommend avoiding – there’s too many other great options in Singapore to bother.
