    Horrible horrible service at Citylink mall. Signed up for eye bojin 10 session. First session was excellent and then it went downhill all the way! Each bojin session after that became shorter and shorter. Everyone I walk in they try to hard sell some other treatment and when I turn it down they do a slip shot job and turn u away. Please note the bojin is only 15 mins. They they slap on cotton wool to ur eyes, call it an eye mask and leave it there for 20 mins. That’s it!!!! Horrible horrible place. Don’t get scammed!

    I signed up for the eye bojin treatment package with Skin Labo novena outlet. It was value for money and I did enjoy the treatment. Unfortunately, it was only the first (the one that got me to sign the 10 sessions package) and the very last sessions that were really good.
    It was meant to be an hour treatment but the sessions just became shorter each time. At one of the sessions, I just wipe the mask off my eyes and walked out. The ladies at the counter were surprised, asked me why. I responded, saying that the bojin had been shorter and the whole treatment had been lesser than 60 min. They claimed that the sessions has “always” been 45 min. I went back to check my receipt and indeed, it wasn’t indicated. That was not the worst, the hard selling was super annoying and done when I was vulnerable on the treatment bed. They push and try to upsell, EVERY SINGLE SESSION.

    Super hard selling ! Went for the trial $98 for 10 bojin and promised no hard sell.

    Ended up one hour with the sales consultant after the service with hard selling.

    Started with $3988 for ten session which I said was too expensive. After that , became 20 session for $3988.

    Then finally when I insisted to leave already , slashed price to $1099 for ten session with black face from sales consultant.

    Signed up as I feel it’s an acceptable price.

    Enquired about $98 for 10 eye bojin at city link outlet and was ensured NO other package sign-up required. After signing up and went for 3 sessions. Understand that the $9.80 / session deal is “TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE”. Hard sell starts right away from session 1.

    Their marketing is to get you in for $9.80 / eye bojin session and then hard sell for facial / face bojin / etc add-ons for at least $100 /session. They started with:

    1) 10 facial sessions for $3988 ($398 +gst/ session )

    2) 10+10 promo @ $3988 ($199 +gst / session)

    – NOTE – (1) & (2) offered in 2nd session which I did not sign up.

    3) 10+10+4 special svc voucher only for me ($166 +gst / session)

    4) how much u want / session

    – NOTE – (3) & (4) offered in 3rd session

    Just need to be firm and not succumb to hard sell at initial high price. See how the price tumbles from $398 to $166 by the 3rd monthly session.

    Frankly, I liked the eye bojin as after every session, I could sleep really well. But just didn’t like their hard sell and they became aggressive & unfriendly when they sense that they are losing their KPI of increasing their per session price from $9.80 to $198 / $166.

    FYI, I did sign up for 6 add-on which averages out to $85/session (incl. GST) which I am comfortable with, I e. $98 for 10 eye bojin + $572 for 5 face bojin + 144 for 1 eye treatment. Fingers crossed that they maintain the bojin service level and they don’t close shop.

    Sign up for “too good to be true” offer ONLY IF you have strong will power to say NO to their hard sell…

    1 out of 5 is purely based on the hard sell service. The bojin is fine.

      I signed up the eye bojin too thinking to try.After 4th session of hard selling and not keen cos I too find the bojin session is shortened each month. The consultant who try to hard sell pretend that she book my next appointment but she actually didn’t book. Super cunning and low class service . Never even step in there for me!

    Jenny and Colleen from Skin Labo in Marine Parade both provide professional and exemplary customer service that I sign a package for biojin face and body lympatic drainage massage. It was my first time there to do a trial. Colleen the therapist is very experienced and will explain what she is doing and the result. I told her with the results on my face will sure gather queries from my friends and business acquaintances and I will definitely introduce Jenny and Colleen to them.

    Went for my facial treatment at JE Branch and has several bad experience.

    1) Recent visit, I was trying to relax and sleep while doing facial. The consultant kept on pestering me to buy more
    treatment. Whenever I fall asleep, I am disturb by her repeat selling.
    2) The previous visit, I reserved early in advance the consultant I liked but when I get there, they said the consultant is
    busy and I may have to wait 30mins and I end up served by another consultant. Sometimes serving by another
    consultant may be risky.
    3) I whatsapp to make appointment and was not responded. I called and was told their whatsapp no. has been
    terminated and replaced by another no. They don’t even notify customers who bought package with them.
    4) Each time you finished a facial, the senior consultant will make you sit in a small room to sell more. Very annoying.

    With my bad experience with them, I will finish my package and will never want to return to them.

    Wanna upsell me a package which I totally don’t need. Pissed, and I told them I will just leave if I made them so unhappy about not getting an expensive package.
    I think all the victims here shld all gather up and file a charge against them.

    The services is acceptable but not the hard selling tactics every time I go for my session. The way they do it starts from the service itself; they provide an upgrade for free with the reason that it’s more suitable for my skin condition that day and then when signing off, they try to push you to upgrade your face package base on what you have experienced. It happens every single session.

    Been patronising Novena goldhill outlet for the past 5 years regularly for tcm massage treatments. Despite being a loyal customer and supportive (sign multiple package), they did not respect my decision when I declined to sign new package with them. I feel obligated and the whole experience was terrible. Many of their staff keep hard sell me so desperately and I ended up had to sign up in order to leave the shop. I was stuck in the shop for 45mins. The package they offered could be anyone’s 1 or 2 month salary. Not a small amount.
    Easily told me I could opt for credit card instalment as if I do not need to pay from my own pocket. They don’t care if you’re able to afford financially, no human touch at all, to them is just meeting the sales numbers and they only want to meet their sales target.
    With this uneasy experience, I am truly taken aback and was deeply disappointed with such disgusting treatment. Despite me telling the staff that I am financially tight, they just went on and on. Mind you I believe I have paid over $25k over the years I’m with Skin Labo and also just signed a package 3 months ago. Aren’t I’m supportive enough? You may get a big order this time, but you just lost a regular and loyal customer. I felt miserable and couldn’t sleep at night and get over it with such a hefty price paid.

    If you’re new to Skin Labo, you may noticed many good reviews. As they were told to do so by them. No doubt their therapist were knowledgeable and skilful in TCM massage, be prepared to get hard sell by them. If you aren’t prepared for such experiences, don’t ever step in. Go read the 1 star reviews!

    My advice to the boss is, if your staff could offer bite size package deal, this may allow you to sustain your business in a long run. Large-sum package and such an uneasy experience for being hard sell, this will be your last business.

    Dear Skin Labo Customer Service Manager,

    My name is Ada SU.

    I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received at your Citylink mall outlet.
    I had a treatment for eye Bojin and facial on 24 March and I purchased the package for $905. However, that same night, I developed a stye in my eye which my doctor attributed to unclean tools used during the treatment.

    I immediately contacted your outlet and provided feedback regarding my experience,unfortunately, the response I received was not helpful in resolving my concerns. They would like to ask me change to boby package but after careful consideration I refused since I am going to have a baby. I am a bit worried about the product. Suddenly, Ms. Carol changed her face quickly since I requested a refund of the package fee.

    After I made it clear to Carol that my request was for a refund, she informed me that she could not receive a commission from this transaction and therefore would not communicate with me any further. Despite repeated attempts to contact her, she ignored my messages and displayed a cold attitude. As evidence, I have a recording of a phone call where I kept the phone in the normal position for three minutes, allowing me to hear her in the background but pretend she can not hear anything like an actor.

    To be honest, I did not feel comfortable continuing your services due to the bad treatment and poor service. I have not heard back from Carol, the Citylink Mall Manager, despite repeated attempts to contact her.
    To make matters worse, when I spoke with Carol, she displayed a rude attitude and refused to communicate with me any further, citing commission issues. This behavior is unacceptable for a service industry and has left me feeling very angry and disappointed.

    Not sure how they price their package?? Every time i go there, the facial does not seem to be the one I purchased (other than the first few visits)?? But I could have forgotten what I bought? It seems like they look at the condition of my face that day and give an upgrade (at no extra cost)? Not sure how that upgrade is more expensive than the one I paid for, since I am not sure how they price their package? Just that the facial does not seem like the one I paid for?? Not sure why they have so many snide remarks, is that a sales tactic? Ya, and they do cancel the appointment on the day, rearranging to 2 hours before (read that in one of the reviews here), claiming that their staffs were on MC. Hmmm.. Most of the reviews here are, ya, read them…hmm. Oh YA! Decided to leave a comment here because experienced the something something….omg….

    Extremely aggressive sales, are they just trying to make a quick buck?
    As someone mentions, the products are shady and cause problems, experience the somethings too.

    This is my first visit to their new Jurong branch. Consultant Wang Rong & therapist Doris are excellent in their product knowledge & customer service. Therapist Doris is very skilful in her lymphatic massage and makes me feel settled & comfortable throughout the entire SHR session. I look forward to my next session with them & would definitely consider trying out other treatments too.

    I had my 3nd facial with sue from novena today ,she was professional. My facials were not so relaxing as i have lots of whiteheads but shes gentle and really take time cleaning my face. Accepted to add another sessions with her, hope my sensitive skin will be better. Thank you sue.

    Super pushy sales, even when having treatments, their beautician will keep promoting their packages, keep saying all the negative sides of my face, even I’m having eye treatment only. I cannot even had a peace of mind during treatment. I had remaining 3 or 4 times of treatments left and also rejected continue signing package from them, after which realize that their reminder sms was not given anymore, change of appointment also difficult, no reply at all till the day of treatment. Super bad service standard. @Citilink Branch.

    I’m an old customer at skin labo. And I have finally decided to stop engaging them for facial session. Their customer service, extraction skills is getting worse. And on top of that they are very pushy in their sales and not all comments they say about your face is true . They are always not punctual for their facial services even though I booked the time slot. And while removing my facial hair, they accidentally cut my skin . Had blood over my face … this is horrible .

    The therapist told me that I got lymphatic obstruction and I’d better pay more for an advanced treatment. The massage treatment was so painful. Still felt pain the day after. Went to see a doctor and the doctor did not recommend the treatment.

    Speechless to their non change culture and all I experience same as previous all customers. Same problem as they keep hard sell me buy another package while I still have so many haven’t finish doing. So sad that only Teresa never introduce me any package and she really good but she had left. And Ling Ling is the one service me 1 time sell me 1 time package ? She do massage and bo jin also quite pain. I don’t like counter style of talking even manager I guess. Kind of insult me few hundred also can’t sign meh ? I got the same feeling that stressful to go there and just want to leave there quickly. Really feel want to report or any place can I complain as I think even I complain to management level they won’t have any changes or improvement. Terrible!!!! 1 star also don’t feel to give.

    Omg sames like so many disappointed customer like me …nightmare for the horrible counter hard sale and still have lots of packages but ask to buy again for the package finished soon and agree to continue but just wanna pay for next visit due to month end but the counter girl said just few hundred dollars only ma …omg I feel embarrassed and feel insult by her 🙁 my feeling bad for such experiences… the therapist really nice and professional but feeling horrible after the counter attendant advised by such bad wording…
    Don’t take uneducated as straight talk??

    My therapist, Theresa at Novena Outlet, was thorough and gentle. I like it that my face wasn’t swollen and doesn’t leave so much redness after the extraction process unlike the other places i tried. Furthermore i do like the moisturizing mask they put after the extraction. It was so refreshing and it calms and soothes my face. The overall experience was relaxing.

    I went for a supposedly deep cleansing bubble facial but due to my combination to dry sensitive skin Irene, the therapist, suggested i go for Bojin facial instead which i gladly agreed. She was gentle and nice. I love Bojin facial and it suites aging skin like mine. What inspired me to write this review was how nice and accommodating HeeBee and Irene was to let me have my Fave purchashed facial voucher despite the voucher not being available as the app was down prior to my appointment. It was an altogether pleasant experience.

    TERRIBLE FACIAL SHOP. NON-STOPPED pushing me to upgrade my package. Well, i so scare and spent a lot to this facial treatment but i didn’t see any good result on my face. A beautician called HEBE, please dont push me package on my next treatment, i wont renew anymore. I will just keep silent next time if she talk to me. Really pissed off with their services, even i don’t feel to continue, but i need to finish my current package with lots of stress.

    Went for my last session of my package @Goldenhill Plaza Novena. Been told my face is sensitive after using certain products and hence all my treatment package even including face massages that I bought not recommended to be done. Despite the explainations, I understand the situations. But to replace with some calming treatments that was done not even 4min & shoulder massage also not even 3min is that fair? Don’t skin labo has any treatments that suitable for sensitive skins other than that calming cold application over 3min ?? Just because I’m going back my home country & not able to purchase more package with you, that’s why you no longer sincere in giving me my last facial session properly? It can be replaced with eye or neck treatment as a replacements. Normal sessions was done 1.5hours to 2 hours previously. But today pure 1hour it’s totally not fair for me nor worth my money that I bought!

    I do not recommend. My original skin is sensitive and dry type. And after I go for facial, my skin feels irritated and got rashes somemore. Wasted my time and money to go for facial. Glad that I didnt renew my package

    TERRIBLE experience. NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Pushy and keep asking you to top up multiple treatment for EVERY SESSION. Service is poor and manager/receptionist is super rude. Always fully booked for regular customer but will have spot if you are new customer. They DO NOT care after you sign up the package and all they want is for you to top up or sign up more. I suffer from multiple acne scar because of their poor skill but good thing is the therapist is no longer there. Expensive and totally not worth the price I paid for each session (few hundred dollar). I am pretty sure there are better services consider the price I paid everywhere else. Never leave any bad comment in my life but this is just too much. Emailed the company to complaint but no action or not even receive any reply from them. Please visit at your own risk.

    Teresa has been my beautician for more than a year now. She’s really skilled and sensitive to my skin’s needs. My skin condition has gotten so much better over the year and I have her to thank. no make up no problem 🙂 She has a very bubbly personality too so each session is always very enjoyable! Highly recommend Teresa 🙂

    I had the best facial experience at Skin Labo, Novena branch with Ling Ling, my facial therapist. I always choose the facial salon with using Dermalogica products as I trust the brand for more than 15 years.

    Went for orchard outlet at international building. Chanced upon fave voucher. Told to give 5stars on their fave account despite before the treatment of Brazilian. Hard selling begin when u enter the room. Almost every visit.. Staff at the Receptionist are quite rude. There’s a few times I saw they received phone calls from customers to ask for slot but they just end the call with ‘FULLY BOOKED’ Despite looking at the appointment booklet. LOL.

    My worse experience, immediately left without signing the session done. Spa indulgence at International plaza doesn’t feel relaxing at all. Doesn’t respect privacy of client, and other staff just enter in and out of room while client doing full body massage.

    Massage is poor (Hong jie aka Liu Xiu Hong, they call her Xiao Hong)
    Have to remind her time after time for what is undone, and which part have not been massage. She will tell you she purposely keep to the last. But last never do.
    Very small room, even massage hve to shift bed to side to make room for massage to walk left and right.
    Room is cluttering with boxes and carton. Very dusty.
    Facial is 5 mins then mask on for 1 hour.
    Slimming seems to be like putting a hot blanket on your tummy only. Touch tummy when 1 hour massage for not more than 2 mins consider slimming.

    Keep asking me sign and top up to hve better service.
    And when ask her, she say wil “drag” to 75mins or 90mins for an hour session to let customers feel worth it.
    And true enough, i slept there for 1hourr+.

    Entire package definitely not worth $400+

    Appreciate if the manager/ person in charge can contact me to understand more about today experiences and how improve.

    Terrible experience at Skin Labo (Novena), with very aggressive product pushing. Initially signed up for a package a few months ago, and the first few sessions were okay. But one day, without consulting me or informing me beforehand, they changed my aesthetician to Ivy who was extremely aggressive with product pushing. Given the price that I’m paying for each facial session, I was expecting a relaxing and comfortable experience to unwind from the week. However, each session was filled with very aggressive product pushing to “upgrade” to a more expensive treatment that would be “better” for my skin. Whenever i turned down the offer, I would be slighted by Ivy with remarks of being stingy and unwilling to spend on myself. Given that I’m paying hundreds of dollars per session, it is totally ridiculous to be ridiculed like this. All I hope for is to finish my package and never step back into Skin Labo again. Would certainly not recommend Skin Labo nor Ivy, my advice would be to look for another aesthetician who properly listens to your concerns and gives objective advice, instead of aggressive pushing products and ‘upgrades’ throughout the session.

    I first bought a facial fr Fave. But upon arrival, prc therapies asked to topup saying the facial is way too basic to see any results. Aft facial she kept pestering me to get a package, in the end I gave in and bought another session. Just went for my second session. Facial was ok. But they were ultra pushy. To the extend another prc therapist woke me while I was doing my mask to talk about their package. And pressed me for an answer if I wanna take it up there n then. Really irks me. Stay away from SkinLabo or go at your own risk!

    Those who bought the coupon from Fave. Please beware. The staff is very very very HARD SELLING. Said the treatment I bought from fave is not suitable and not effective for my condition. She asked to top up to another package which cost 3.1k for 1 year unlimited session. When I rejected, she said I can use credit card installments. WTH. After rejected, she asked me to take 6 months 1.7k then 3 months 800 plus. End up I paid 250+ for shaving procedure for 12 sessions. So come here at your own risk if u are prepare to pay expensive package. The procedure experience is overall ok.

    Go at your own risk. I Purchased the fave voucher and went there for 1st time bubble facial. There was a lot of hard selling. I expected this so beforehand I told them I didn’t want my skin analysed. They ignored my wishes and began to aggressively hard sell me products by scaring me “oh if you don’t take care by buying our product, you’ll have this consequence”

    When I declined multiple times, they refused to do my bubble facial, the original deal I purchased on Fave, claiming it was “unsuitable for my skin”. Instead they told me to do another facial treatment that is more suitable for me, and was very sneaky about it, didn’t tell me upfront that facial need to add HUNDREDS of dollars UNTIL I ASKED.

    The Best part, they asked me to review them 5 stars on fave even BEFORE the whole treatment commence. She say I need to rate in order for them to redeem the mask for me. Doesn’t make sense? I thought it was swipe ON FAVE to redeem, first time hear must give good rating to redeem I facial I PURCHASED. “How can I rate your service when I haven’t seen the quality of it?” I said. She still pushed me, “just a quick tap on your handphone now!”. It was just a super dishonest and sneaky move in my opinion and I think that’s how they got so many good reviews on fave.

    I refused, of course. But throughout the whole treatment when I was lying down, instead of letting me relax, my therapist kept talking and hard selling that it was difficult to sit through 100 minutes peacefully. I also don’t feel respected as a customer, they kept placing me in a position like I didn’t know any better. And if you aren’t comfortable with the person, no matter how good the facial is, you can’t relax

    Terribly disappointed with the facial as it was average and the china ladies (Lily and LiNa) were extremely pushy. I did not enjoy the process at all and regret buying the Fave voucher.

    The Fave promotion is not worth it! Did not have a good experience. They keep asking you to top up to try different things. The most terrible part was during the massage. She did a good Chinese massage on one side of my back then said I needed to top up another $70 for her to continue this style. TERRIBLE. She also cut the massage short by at least 15 minutes. What’s the point of giving a special promo to first time customers but still try to milk them in the first session?

    Purchased a worthy one-time facial session with SkinLabo Orchard through FAVE for only at a price of $11. I was attended by therapist, Chloe, who is very friendly and patient with me throughout the process. She also mentioned that she has 7 years of beauty experience which was very comforting to know that I will be in good hands. Hence the 3 stars.

    Like what the google reviews mentioned, they tried to hard sell me for another facial package at the end of the session, despite me saying no several times. Feeling stressful and irritated, I succumbed to pressure. Hopefully the result will be good and they stop trying to hard sell me other products, for I fear it would be another daunting experience.

    Low key racist
    I went to the spa because there was a promotion displayed on the store front.
    When i went in to take an appointment, they told me it’s only available for Singaporeans, while it was not written at all on the ad. I have been living in Singapore for 4.5 years now, and this is the first time I have been refused service for such reason. What is the logic behind this? Is the spa just not allowed for white people?
    I wish I could put 0 stars.
    Very rude.

    The treatment was very good and I’m very happy with the results!! The staff were very friendly and professional! I highly recommend coming here and I’ll be back! It was value for money. The place was cosy and welcoming – a pleasant experience overall 10/10!

    TERRIBLE PLACE – VISIT AT YOUR OWN RISK!
    (Done at Orchard)
    I have never reviewed anything online before but this place is too much..

    Bought a Brazilian deal via fave:
    -Forced to pay for shaving as there was 1 strand of hair and paid for 12 sessions in total
    -Did not apply brightening mask as promised
    -Did not shave properly (only half cleaned) at least 2 times
    -GAVE ME A CUT

    I emailed to ask for refund to discontinue the service:
    -Did not receive any apology
    -Said refund will be done at the original price ($680 for shaving + serum)
    -Then said they are unable to refund because there’s no refund policy (Which is against the law)

    This place is super unprofessional that I do not wish to continue any more sessions. Full of lies to cover themselves up just to not refund. Please reach out to me if you have faced similar issue / any bad experience.

    First they will bring you a service room, Two staff keep hard selling you to sign package, I had been force for 1 hour plus , I had no choice so that I had sign. I really feel helpless and stressful . After the first treatment a lot red dot with painful.

    Today is my first time doing facial at Skin Labo, and I must say that this first experience with them is really worth it! From the moment I stepped in, was already great customer experience. I was attended by TERESA , who did a Skin analysis on me and recommended the right skin treatment for my face. She is very knowledgeable and skilled but most importantly, showed great concern for my skin. She did explained the step on doing facial and I totally enjoyed the whole process. GREAT SERVICE from her that I decided to get a Facial session package! Will definitely recommend to friends!

    THIS IS A WARNING TO EVERYONE WHO IS ENTICED BY THEIR CHEAP SERVICES ON FAVE.
    BOUGHT ON FAVE, DO NOT TRY NO MATTER HOW CHEAP IT SEEMS. THE PRICES ARE DECEIVING AS THEY WOULD PRESSURE YOU TO TOP UP FOR WAY MORE.
    Firstly, they requested to change the timing of my appointment, saying that their staff was on MC. if they knew that their staff was on MC, shouldn’t they inform me and call me earlier instead of sending me a text message to request for it just 2 hours before the appointment? It is so unprofessional and I was already apprehensive of the services they would offer.

    Secondly, the moment I went and started the facial, the person who gave the facial said that I needed top up 200 dollars for extraction and some serum/ special mask – this was already included in the package I bought. She then lowered the price to half, and then 68 dollars saying that there’s a special offer for students. I said no, I just wanted to stick to what I paid for on Fave. However, she came back and insisted/pressured me to pay 38 dollars – saying that my face would be red and she wouldn’t be able to squeeze the blackheads entirely. I succumbed to the pressure eventually and paid the 38 dollars because I was afraid of what she might do to my face.

    There was a misrepresentation of what was listed and what they offered. They pressured their customers to pay for services that were already stated in the listing – threatening that if they don’t pay, then the result will not be as good???? There was no professionalism in their services – from postponing the appointment last minute, no skin analysis, and insisting on paying for something that was included in the package.

    THEY ALSO TRIED TO FORCE ME TO GIVE THEM A 5 STAR REVIEW IN EXCHANGE FOR SOME FREE MASK IN MY NEXT VISIT. I WILL NEVER VISIT THEM AGAIN.

She was meticulous in explaining the steps and products used throughout the whole facial, and was very skilled in her massage techniques.     Just completed a facial at the Novena outlet. The lady who gave me the facial was sweet and nice – I’ll give her 2 stars for that. However, they hard sell their products and packages despite me saying “no” many times. I understand that it is a business after-all but all I wanted was to enjoy the birthday gift my friends got me from FAVE without being pushed to buy things that I did not want in the first place… Is that too much to ask for? Unfortunately, I will not be going back to redeem the second half of my fit, for I fear that their hard-sell tactics will keep me in the shop far longer than I desire to stay.

    The treatment was very good. I was very satisfied with my facial. My therapist Xiao Yu was very patient and detailed in her explanations – a true professional. A very pleasant experience overall. Highly recommended!

    Not sure what kind of shady products they used, but my skin is in red and itchy condition with tiny pus-pimples after having facial here last week. It has been a week and my skin has been so horrible, which never has been like this before. It’s my first time at SKINLABO, and this is such a horrible experience. On top of that, they tried to hard sell and forced me to give them 5-star review on FAVE on the spot. If you want your skin to become irritated, GO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
    Staff keeps trying to hard sell more products when going for treatment. They insist to charge for shaving even though I have already shaved and are unhappy if you shave before hand and decline their “shaving service”. Poor customer service with hardselling.
    after the treatment my skin more worse, asking for refund the rest of the amount they treat me like a ball bounce me around, keep say cant help me anythings .
