    Service was good. But almost ALL of the ladies is too hard-selling. I came from customer service line as well and it’s pity to see the staff to do hard selling although u already bought the package. With this kind of after services you just made customer not to come back and enjoy their “me time”. This is way too much for them “begging” us to buy your package. Not all walk-in customers has money.. sometimes they just wanna have some me time and pamper themselves. But if this kind of hard selling is going on you just made them feel regret for stepping in inside your shop. Please have some self reflect and educate your staff well NOT to hard selling and give a “pity” face. Thank you!

    Wife has a package here and they do extreme hard selling every session. They will also assess all sorts of issues to try to push unnecessary services. Not a pleasant experience, avoid if possible

    Went there with the intention of finishing up my package with them so that I don’t need to be bothered by hard-selling any more. North point branch was quite ok. But the Marina Square is super hardsell and pushy.

    The work done for pedicure is good thus the 1 star.

    The rest of the stars is deducted for mis-charging for GST when they are not supposed to. Their GST registration is only from next week but the staff told us that we need to pay 7% GST.

    The receipt was not provided to us but we went back to request for it and realized that there is no GST listed but they artificially charged us 7% by putting the amount under “Vitagel” which we didn’t use and didn’t buy. Called up the branch to clarify and questioned their GST status. The staff insisted they gave the wrong invoice and will refund the wrongly charged amount by paynow. Received the “GST amount” from the staff paynow almost immediately.

    Have also emailed them to ask and was told that:

    “Marina Square outlet has just got GST status approved. GST will start to kick in this coming week.”

    very pushy, even after saying no multiple times. say you have fungus in your nails, keep pushing customer to buy packages, even though we already have package

    Bad experience!

    I will not come back again!

    During the session, they have been asking me if I would like to add on any other services and also applying additional cream which I outright rejected it and thereafter they charged me a final bill of $350 which I had a shock out of it. (Before do they told me 180$)

    Since then, one of the manicurists who serviced me started to hard sell me their nail spa packages from $1,600 which I rejected upfront and I just wanted to settle the payment of $350 immediately as I had to rush.

    the staff actually continued her hard sell tactics on me and started to reduce their packages pricing numerous times from $1,600, $1,300, $680 to the final price of $558 which I rejected it so many times

    Whatever service I have taken up I am most willing to pay but to let me spend the extra just because of their undue pressure on me makes me feel that I am being cheated.

    558$ for me to learn that I have to be careful not to walk in to this kind of shop without read a review or check hidden cost.

    Lots of hard sell not from 1 but 2 staffs. Keep asking me to buy package and not attentive in the service. Very bad experience and will NOT come back again

    Mani pedi was good. Whole experience spoilt by their hardselling. please learn to take NO as an answer. Respect customer’s decision. I insist on paying for the service I had agreed to, but staff keep insisting on more. When i said “ please let me pay for what i did, if you guys dont want to let me pay then i will walk out not paying anything” they laugh it off thinking im joking. Yes, THEY. I had 3 staff disrespecting my decision. If not for the next customer who walked in and because they had to serve the next customer already, i think they will still try to make me take more than what i need and not let me pay.

    My manicurist that day was Siew Siew. She was careful and detailed in beautifying my fingernails. She was also a very friendly and easy person to talk to ?. Also, there was no hard selling. Overall, good experience!

    Never had such a bad experience that I was compelled to write a review. Come during weekends and they will be sure to keep you waiting despite having an appmt. Waited one FULL hour from my appmt time till I was attended to, I find it rude that the business have zero respect for peoples time. The least they could do is to inform us of the waiting time but no – zero communication, they just leave you waiting. Even after being attended to, job was a rush and not up to usual standards – nails were not cleaned properly, toes were exfoliated on one side but not the other (the list goes on). And while being attended to, the staff went off and decided to start packing stuff when she could have applied treatment first to let it soak in while she go off to do that.

    Never felt so disrespected being a customer and I 10/10 will not continue my package after this.

    I had a really nice friendly experience- i was a walk in and asked for appointment SHOSHO was attentive and booked me to come back later- i did a classic pedicure with added salt – she informed me of the extra charge for salt beforehand and as i agrees she continued- no hard sale which is really nice- she was friendly and also attentive with other costumers . I recommend it 🙂 Thank you shosho for the lovely costumer service

    Staff really loves to hardsell. Come and do my nails to enjoy and relax myself, but I really didn’t enjoy the experience at all. Everything also charge money, and they are not consistent with all outlets. Sometimes charge, sometimes don’t charge for the same thing. Won’t recommend at all!! Try at your own risk

    *Extremely poor customer service! Dont go!*

    1) Poor communication with existing and new customers.

    2) Long long waiting time. Booked appointment at 5pm and by 550pm we were not attended to. We stomped out!

    3) No communication at all by supervisor/manager of parlour until we stomped out.

    Staff at marina square outlet loves to HARDSELL like mad! I am a package holder, but they still kept nagging & hardselling me to buy another package. Very unprofessional, go at your own risk.
