    I went back today because my eye brow was done beautifully by Selina 1 year back. I remembered that I entitled to one time touch up in the package.
    Today I was told as it was a special package price(S$398), cannot use caused too long already!
    Amazingly I was told that if I do it today, I still entitled to S$399 with one time touch up but no expiry. They are so contradicting.
    I now agreed to all those reviews about the hard selling.
    I like the brows done by Selina but I will never use this salon. Insincere and only want to hard sell without knowing what impression they have created for the salon and regardless how good your beauticians are, you will lose the business!

    DO NOT ENGAGE THEIR SERVICES UNLESS YOU WANT CROOKED BROWS! I know mistakes happen but instead of giving me a solution, they decided to blame my previous brow embroidery shape. I didn’t walk in with crooked brows, but I walked out with it. The staff, Natasha from PLQ didn’t ask me to sit up and look at her after she drew my brows, she only gave me a small handheld mirror to look at the entire process and when she is done, she didn’t look at my brows while I was standing up. I was still reasonable and waited 3 days for them to get back to me. Only for Natasha to call me, talk over me and gaslight me. DO NOT GO LA VITA! They have paid well for marketing, but when their services don’t meet basic expectations, it’s the customer’s fault and HQ is too busy with other matters to deal with you. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!

    La Vida Clementi – a terrible hard sell cum black shop. When they persuade me to signed up the package, they told me and promised me they will split it to 6 months or even 12 months. As I saw the print out transaction slip was a full amount, I called back and checked with them 5 days later. Again, they guaranteed they will split the payment for me in 6 months instalments as I wish. Nevertheless, 3 weeks later i received my credit card statement with full settlement. Other than this, I also had many bad experiences of their hard sell at every facial session, since the first session of the package. A really horrible facial saloon that I ever encountered. A definitely No No.

    Had my first ever lash lift done and I’m truly satisfied with the service and the results of my lashes. I was served by TingTing, she was patient and ensured I was comfortable during the whole process. She made sure I wasn’t feeling any pain or discomfort and cleaned up the areas of my eyes really well! She even help me to touch up my eyebrows. I also got a package for lash lift where I could come back twice for it at a price of $80++ with no date limit. There wasn’t any hard selling of products or packages!

    The environment is clean and well furnished. They have a good system in keeping track of appointments and flexible time slots. Would definitely recommend! 🙂

    I like my eyebrow embroidery..very nice shape and the color stays.. highly recommended. “Ting Ting” is trying her best to help me despite of our language barrier.

    Good service from the beautician Gina. Analysed my skin condition and recommended appropriate treatment. Also gave a head and shoulder massage while I was undergoing mask treatment. Minimal hard selling

    Today I was being served by Blue & Ting Ting, they are very very professional and skillful in doing my eyebrows, they help me to design based on my facial features, gave me advices and achieve what I wanted for my brows, I am very satisfied after visiting them. Firstly, absolutely NO hard selling at all, recommendation(s) to a customer, it’s their scope of work or aspect. I feel so nice and no pressure whilst communicating with both of them. Secondly, Blue was so sweet in her service and asking her questions pertaining my brows, she is so knowledgeable in her field. Thirdly, Ting Ting was so skillful and meticulously doing my brows with effects like a real eyebrows, KUDOS to both them and I will want to take up their facial recommendation. Cheers, 6 Stars to Clementi Mall outlet.

    Unfortunately, the skills of the beautician who attended to me at the Clementi branch is way below standard. I did not take a good look at the salon but when I got back and had a closer look, this was the worst eyelash perm I ever had. The curl was uneven and messy. It is not natural and my original lashes look way better. The only fortunate thing is I did not sign up for any other service with them. To those who want to try their lash lift, please be aware. I would have given them zero stars if it was possible.

    Just tried the Classic eyebrow embroidery. Service is reliable and professional. Personal touch to understand and meet customer’s request. Importantly, there is no pressure selling.

    Will recommend friends.

    Staff at La Vida Clementi outlet are really friendly. They do not give me the hard sell feeling and when I decided not to go with the package they have recommended, I was still treated with great service. I feel the need to recommend Blue and Ting Ting. They both have shown excellent customer service at least to me. And I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

    Ting Ting’s eyebrow embroidery skills is superb and she’s very patient too.

    Really disappointed with the lash lift FB promo I went for, my eyelashes were so haphazardly lifted to the point where they look and feel FRIED. The curl was only noticeable right after the treatment. As soon as I washed my face later that day, my lashes started to flatten out into the crumpled mess in the photo.

    It wasn’t my first time getting my lashes lifted so I know what to expect, but I definitely wasn’t prepared to go through such a negative experience at La Vida. My therapist was quite rough when handling my lashes and there was a point where she was removing the tape from under my eyelid and it felt like my skin was going to get ripped out, I wish I was kidding. While she was nice, it felt like she was in a hurry to get the treatment done which was like nothing I had ever experienced at other studios where they take great pains to be gentle around the eye area.

    If you’d like to get your lashes lifted, there are better studios to spend your money at. Don’t be swayed by the promotional price, you’re not even getting your money’s worth.

    Hard sell. Scam. I didn’t even finish my package. went back only twice and always after the session, they never bothered to follow up by arranging next appointment. Previous sessions were also initiated by myself asking when can I next come back.

    First time I went for eyebrow embroidery and got persuaded to sign for facial package.

    Hard sell when they are done with one eyebrow. Stop and didn’t complete the other brow. Is this attitude assuring to customers?

    Not much extractions but also not sure what they are doing to remove my comedones. Used a filing machine for the surface to pick out comedones. Not sure if this is good for the skin by filing the surface.

    Haven’t went back for long since covid and no calls from them. Saw that they opened a new outlet in Clementi Mall.

    The eyeliner artist who did the service for me is professional and a very nice lady. However the customer service and admin is really unprofessional and insincere.

    I would advise that there are many other smaller establishments that provides excellent service and are equally skilled. There are really so many options, please take your money elsewhere.

    A detailed account of what happened:

    Without any prior arrangement, call, or explanation, my appointment was changed to a different branch. An SMS was sent to request confirmation of the appointment. To which i replied to say the venue was wrong. No one bothered to reply the entire day and I had to call them in the evening. Only then, I was informed that the staff is on MC. I would have been very understanding if this was explained earlier because the artist who does the service is such a nice lady. But the customer service on the phone just brushes the issue off and expect me to accept the change of venue even after I have explained it is inconvenient. I have also informed that due to work I will NOT be able to make it on weekdays. She next proceeded to suggest i make another appointment at the other branch on weekdays. I have requested for a refund of the value of the service as they were not able to reschedule an appointment before CNY (original appointment was scheduled more than a month ago). The admin informed me said she would get back to me. But it was no surprise she did not.

    The next day, i had to send another message to mention that no one returned call. And a different person called me, with a different story saying my appointment was changed to a different venue because the original branch i made appointment at in under renovation. I find that highly questionable because renovations do not just get decided overnight. And i was only informed the day before my appointment.

    The whole experience is just frustrating and unnecessary. I would just like a refund and would not want to have anything to do with this place.

    Extremely poor customer service. Sign up a eyebrow embroidery package at clementi outlet with 1 year unlimited free touch up, but is never easy to book a touch up slot. When finally got a slot, received a call 2 days before and rearrange me to their CCK outlet, quoted that the room is not available.

    I insisted for clementi outlet and wanted them to give me the replacement session before CNY, the customer service say will check and call back. Waited for 5 days and didn’t receive any call. Called them again, they took down my number and rush to hang up my call.

    This is definitely not the kind of service I would expect for a package of more than 2K. If the outlet is forever fully book to receive touch up appointment, it should be made known to the consumer, and not to mislead the consumer into signing up the package without unknowing the difficulty in getting a session!

    The lady that did my lashes was very nice! However, my lash lift was terrible as my lashes now are fuzzy and all over the place. My friends also complained that their lashes were uneven as one eye was higher than the other. Please beware…..

    I’m their long time customer since 2014. No doubt their skills was good. I gave 1 stars because of the HARD Sell. It’s really terrible experience. I was so scared to go back to do any treatment but I still go because I still have free touch up for my eyebrow. For the facial I’ve stop going because everytime going sure will asked me to add or buy package. I did my touch up today (my 2nd touch up)

    I still have one more touch up. I will drag another few year or when I have the courage to go back again.
