    I like the place and hairdresser was so friendly and helpful with the right recommendations. Tram did a great job for my girl. But I don’t like the colour on my hair it’s not uniform. When I see it at that moment inside the shop it looks good but when I got proper lighting and see the back of my head I’m so disappointed I have to pay so much for this

    Nor and CS team was very helpful in giving suggestions to treat my dry and oily scalp. She suggested scalp treatment which was very well done. My hair was also given a fresh new look by Nor! I love the feel and my new look definitely! Looking forward to more visits here:) Thank you CS team!

    Booked a last minute appointment but was still treated very nicely by everyone even though it was pretty full.

    Nor is very experienced and adviced me on the right haircut and colour that would match my skin, facial structure and hair type. For all the curly and wavy girls.. try this out.

    All the other girls were also very kind and gentle when colouring and doing the treatments.

    Overall a great ambience and place to be 🙂

    Came here for a scalp treatment and hair cut. Booked an appointment at a later time but I reached the place earlier than appointment yet they kindly accepted me in even though it was not my turn yet.

    I wanted to finish the scalp treatment by a certain time to which the stylist said yes it’s possible as the treatment and cut wouldnt take very long.

    However after the hair steamer machine stopped, nobody attended to me for quite a while. And knowing that hair cut will take some time, I knew we wouldnt be able to finish by the agreed timing. I was not angry but just disappointed as it shouldnt be overpromised.

    Nevertheless the whole experience was just so so. The cut itself was ok. Just surprised no serum was applied afterwards. The stylist i got was not so pushy. She was quite friendly and apologetic about the wait time. So all is good.

    Just feel that they shouldnt take more customers than what they can cope with? Else everyone else will be left waiting and just time wasted.

    came in december 2024 to do perm or rebonding (whichever the stylist would recommend) with an estimated cost of 300-350. when i reached the the stylist advised me to do “algana treatment” for the top part of my head as ive rebonded previously + “normal treatment” for the bottom part. he did not inform me the price, and i assumed he did not because it “probably should be priced around the same range as the service i initially came for”.

    was billed 500+ total (nearing 600). i was shocked. currently march 2025, 3 months in my “algana hair”, my curly roots are all out as if i didnt just got my hair done in december. the stylist specifically said that “its the same as rebonding, but will look more natural”. ive rebonded my hair since my teen years, it always lasts around 6 months. disappointed. with that 500-600, i couldnt done 2x rebonding elsewhere. first and last.

    I recently had a hair treatment, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly professional and attentive.     My husband and I came to gether to have our hair done up for Hati Raya. Specil thanks to Tram for being so patient with our request. It was a full house day but she make sure we have our hair is how we liike it. Also to Syakirah, who is so friendly and make me feel at home. We went home smilling from ear to ear. Thank you.

    Location is good. Not my first time here, even thou my stylist left the outlet.

    Would have prefered staff to know what customers came in for, (cut and colour) and not keep pushing to do treatment.
    It was very offputting and I felt irritated. Had we wanted any extra hair treatment, we would have asked for it!
    What was supposedly a chill session became tense as I had to repeatedly tell them I do NOT want any hair treatment!
    Also, most female staff have long fingernails.
    During hair washing and hair blowing, the nails scrapped my scalp a few times.
    And please, no hard selling of hair products, unless customers requested for any.

    This salon was good, now the vibes is just not the same.

    Im upset with the haircut that i have gotten.
    I didnt get the staff name, but this was what had happened. I have long hair, Stylist came and ask me do i have a photo for reference, i told her i have no preference but i still want to able to tie my hair up. Stylist had short hair abv shoulder length and she said “my hair length also can tie” i say i want it longer.
    At this point she just pointed to futher down below my shoulder and i said roughly there.

    All of my experience getting a haircut, before starting snipping off the hair, Stylist would actually pull the length of my hair and showed how much will be snipped off and how long we want it to be. This stylist didnt and she started snipping & by the time i realised to my surprise my hair was snip to my shoulder length and not below it as she initially pointed to. At this point im just to pissed to even to raise this up

    For the record i have curly hair, a hair stylist would very well know that when hair is dry it will come up even much shorter! The assistant proceeded to blow my hair. Stylist come back and ask do i want it shorter. I said no, this is too short for me and what she said “u can still tie this up” again i told her no this is too short for me.

    The whole experience is just a turn off when its suppose to be a relaxing one. Stylist touched my hair on 2 occasions (during haircut & after assistant blow my hair) & on both occasions, its just sales talk.
    Also do not assume that all your Clients have no knowledge or has zero experience on scalp treatments etc.

    My daughter spent $300+ on the promo that you were having that includes haircut, and after seeing what the stylist had done to my hair even she dont want her hair to be cut by the stylist but just let her trim the ends.
    In fact my daughter showed a photo reference but what she only saw from the photos was “oh you want to cut curtain bangs” which was not just that if she had looked at the photo properly.

    Now i have to spend extra time to style my hair on a daily basis which is such an inconvenience for me. And because of this i might just consider to rebond my hair.
    I have never had my hair this short ever!!

    Had a wonderful experience at Carva Salon Tampines! The team is incredibly skilled and attentive, ensuring every detail is perfect. The ambiance is relaxing, and the service is top-notch. I left feeling refreshed and absolutely in love with the results. What stood out even more was that they didn’t push for any promotions or additional services like other salons often do, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Carva Salon for a truly pampering experience!

    Very very very nice studio with very welcoming hair stylist!
    Had my hair done by Nor and Annie and had a very pleasant visit here! Will definitely come again and recommend anyone who is hesitant to come to come by and get your hair done! They do not pressure you with any services but will only do it for you without any pressure! Thankyou to them!

    Took the Kids Berry Bubblegum Cut with Stylist Syaqira for my 6-year-old daughter. I would like to highly compliment Miss Syaqira not just for her exceptional hairstyling skills (styled just like the 2 photos my daughter showed her) but also for the vast array of conversation topics that she engaged my daughter with. Great session for my daughter, very nice to see such a friendly and genuine service. Thumbs up! 👍🏼

    Thank you to the awesome team for accommodating to my 2yr old son. It was a walk in and my son has an extreme fear towards hair cut. Coming to the salon with a very low expectations knowing how my son will respond to hair cuts. Special shout out to Nor. She really tried her very best to slope cut to my son’s hair. My son was sitting on my lap and he was screaming and sliding down just to get away. Nor did the cut and trim super fast and seamlessly. She coaxed my son while snipping here and there. I was very much impressed that she could guide my husband and myself on holding on my child and at the same time, to coax my 2 yr old son. To Nor, the cut was not good. But to me it looks damn good lah! My son so handsome now. Thank you again Karva and Nor.❤️

    I truly appreciate the care and attention given to the treatments, not just for me, but for everyone. Even though the team was understaffed today, they worked seamlessly together to provide excellent service to each customer. Personally, I’m grateful to Stylist Nor for always keeping me informed about the treatments I need and their costs—such transparency is something I really value. I also noticed how she encouraged two other stylists (sorry, I didn’t catch their names) to do the same. It made me feel safe and reassured that they are trustworthy. Ladies, you did an amazing job today, especially considering how busy you’ve been since morning. Please don’t forget to take a break and eat! Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you again soon! 😉

    My third time coming here for a cut. I have curly hair and whenever I asked for a “bob” previous stylists (Yinny and Vannie) understood the concept of a curly bob and would cut accordingly so that it would suit my hair texture and face frame. But today stylist Syaqira simply dismissed my request, saying it would be too puffy. This is usually the response of people who don’t understand curly hair so I just relented to whatever she deemed fit as I just wanted some length off. Anyways, she was too busy explaining to me my scalp issues (I am aware of my scalp eczema and did note to her my condition prior) rather than focusing on the cut so to me, it wasn’t the best cut.

    It was a 1pm appointment so I thought I could get the lunch promo but upon payment I was told that I have to show the message (Instagram story) before the service and that “it’s in the terms and conditions”. I’m wondering where the T&Cs are stated and am checking in with them via Instagram. Will update, my fault if I did missed it though I don’t know what difference it makes if I show it before or after…

    Also don’t bother coming 10mins earlier out of courtesy. I always have to wait. Today was only 10mins fortunately but the longest wait was 30mins. Don’t know why the salon can’t just message in advance so that I can come later.

    UPDATE:
    Customer service did reach out a day after this review was posted. They offered to have a senior stylist take a look and discuss adjustments – I declined as I just felt it’s better for me to go to a curly specialist.

    Re lunch promo, customer service did clarify that the promo message can be shown before or after service. So it’s concluded to be a miscomm and they offered a service to compensate.

    Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service recovery and appreciate customer service Lidya for patiently clarifying.

    Jan was very accommodative to take my last min appointment for my 3yo daughter’s haircut despite his busy schedule on a new year’s day. This was our first time coming to Karva and engaging his service. With his skills and service, definitely not our last. Nice work!

    Had a good experience at Karva. Tram gave me a good simple haircut, and Zue really knew her stuff—she listened to what I wanted and recommended the right treatment for my hair type. I also appreciated the private room for hijabis, such a thoughtful touch. The staff were friendly and professional, though it did take a bit longer than expected. Thanks again!
