    🚨 Warning: My Experience at Jean Yip Singapore 🚨

    I feel compelled to share my ordeal at Jean Yip Singapore, not only as a personal account but also as a cautionary tale for others considering their services.

    I had high hopes when I signed up for a Keratin hair treatment package. Little did I know, it would turn into a nightmare. During the treatment, a mistake by the stylist left my hair stiff, severely tangled, and caused massive hair loss. It was so distressing that I had to seek psychiatric consultations and therapy to cope with the emotional aftermath. A visit to a skin and scalp specialist, along with lab tests, revealed that there were no vitamin and iron deficiencies in my blood samples, which had clearly indicated that the sudden massive hair loss after the treatment was due to the negligence of Jean Yip Staff.I’ve had keratin treatments at other salons without issues.

    The concerning part? No actions were taken against the stylist responsible for the damage. Instead, I was asked to pay an additional $395 to “upgrade” to a different treatment. My request for a refund was met with frustration.
    The Customer Service manager insisted on “10% Administrative Fees” and charging me for “Incurred Treatments based on à la carte prices.” This approach was not only unethical but also failed to acknowledge the medical expenses, emotional distress, and lasting damage I suffered due to their negligence.

    To make matters worse, I was not shown any agreement or terms and conditions before proceeding with the treatment. This lack of transparency calls into question the legality of their actions.

    As a well-known hair organization, Jean Yip Singapore should prioritize ethical practices and take responsibility for the well-being of its customers. The focus should be on addressing the harm caused by their staff.

    After enduring substantial suffering, I’m requesting a fair refund of $1560.60, deducting the costs of two regular hair treatments and one keratin treatment based on the agreed prices I had already paid.

    Recently, visited this place for the $28 promotion; R6 facial. Facial was relaxing but i don’t like the part when the sales staff (i don’t want to mention name) literally forced me to sign up package. This made me very uncomfortable!

    My experience at this beauty spa is absolutely wonderful through the years. Evelyn is very professional and approachable. She takes great care with explaining everything she is doing and makes sure I’m comfortable. Special thanks to manager Jess that she was given me a very good package that is affordable and really what my skin needs.
