    I only trust them with my hair. Their hair wash and head massage always feels so good. And the conditioner they use smells so good. Been cutting there for 15 years. Awesome

    I’ve been going to Jean Yip at Thomson for a while now, and Shelley is hands down one of the best hairdressers I’ve ever had! She’s incredibly skilled and attentive to what I want, always making sure I leave the salon looking and feeling great. Shelley has a keen eye for detail and really knows how to work with different hair types. Her recommendations are always spot on, whether it’s for a new style or hair care advice. The salon is clean, comfortable, and the staff are always welcoming. Highly recommend Shelley if you’re looking for a top-notch haircut and a great overall experience!

    Been going to Jean Yip for the last 10 years. Tried other hairdressers but only Jess knows how to cut my hair, especially because I don’t have much hair so not easy to do it well. Also been doing hair growth treatment for the last 2 years and I’m pleased with the outcome. Thanks Jess.

    My mum and I have gone to Jean Yip for almost 20 years now. Mum only trusts Edwin Tan to style her hair and hates the cut at other salons. Edwin also recommended good products for her to keep her white hair looking silvery and is very patient with her (she is in her 80s).

    Jess Yap is my stylist. She understands how I normally wear my hair and cuts it such that it is easy to manage and looks good tied up or let down.

    They both understand their clients needs and do not recommend unnecessary products or services. They are also not pushy about it. Thanks, Edwin and Jess!

    Have been getting my hair done by Hoon for many years. She is honest, efficient and friendly and knows what color and style suits me.
    Now my teenage son also gets his hair cut by her and everyone knows it isn’t easy to please teens!

    I always step out of this place feeling very satisfied with the services provided by my stylist, Jess and the rest of the crew. Edwin is also another worth mentioning stylist. They are really friendly and patient. Very attentive and gentle in their advices. This is a good place to go for your hair concerns.

    I’ve been with Thomson branch for many years. Enjoyed every haircut session. Edwin my hairstylist he’s dedicated and professional always. Other hairstylists are equally professional, friendly and approachable too. And Alinda is very customer-oriented focused. Thumbs up!

    Customer service was decent, but hair stylist Regina might be one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. First time in my life I’ve seen someone cut hair using only one hand for majority of the haircut. Furthermore, the hair cut was so bad that I kept asking for adjustments and it just kept getting worse. It was so uneven and with every adjustment it just kept getting more and more uneven that I had to ask to borrow her scissors, to which she refused. Jean Yip is charging a premium but I honestly wouldn’t pay more than $10 from a haircut from this hair stylist, I’ve gotten better haircuts in Tekong. Will not be returning.

    At 4.2, this salon is way over-rated. The stylist who cut my hair cannot even keep to the client’s instructions on desired hair length – a very BASIC thing. And is presumptuous about the hairstyle I want and how I want to look.

    Very, very annoyed as my hair length is now very inappropriate for my active lifestyle. I need longer hair as I need to tie it up and bun it up for activities such as yoga so the hair doesn’t get into my eyes.

    I realized many has experiences like me when I checked the reviews.

    EC House does a way better job. Don’t waste your money here.

    Lousiest Service attitude & haircut. Making customer wait for more than 30 mins for a simple cut & still received a terrible haircut by stylist HOON. It was a Big mistake made to cut at Jean Yip as my hair is looking atrocious. Rude attitude too. NEVER AGAIN!!! Deserve ZERO STARS!!!

    Friendly people indeed, but sorry the haircut is not up to standard, cost me over 40 bucks to cut and wash, but what I got is somewhat like a 10 dollar plus quick cut salon. need to spend again to get another haircut at some other salon.

    I have been using the services of Jean Yip since I was in Secondary school. Even though I have moved many times, I always come back here for my hair treatments. Staff are attentive, professional and friendly. Will recommend all to come here.
