    Opened in August 2012, our first outlet at Balestier is of 5000sqf is a haven for massage lovers. We are sure you will be soothed immediately with its exquisite Oriental inspired ambience. There are over 12 treatment rooms all equipped with new customised padded beds and private shower cubicles where you can have soothing massage treatments. Our certified therapists wth their cheerful personalities are well-trained to knead away aches and tension in your body.     My husband and I went for a 90 mins massage including cupping. All went well except the cupping was left on our back for too long and resulted in countless blisters on our back. The sight was terrifying, more so when the masseuse (Singaporean accent, recalled seeing her up-side-down name tag “Maggie?” If I saw correctly under the dim light ) repeatedly exclaimed “you are very serious (sick?)”. That was not comforting and caused a lot of anxiety. In the last entire week, we needed to sleep very carefully in order not to break those blisters, some of them broke inevitably and that was hurting. Some dried up but left scars here and there, some are still red and itching. This whole experience was terrifying and I will not want to go through a second time.

    Did the Ladies exclusive promotion ($72 for 90 mins) with my friend today – masseuse Gina and Bella attended to us and we had a good oriental massage which left us both relaxed and satisfied. Thumbs up for their techniques and happy with service! We also were treated to ginger tea & dessert after! Such a nice warm place with excellent service!

    Visited today with my wife and had one of the best massages ever. Therapists were professional, room clean and i enjoyed the experience.

    The only bad experience was the unfriendly front desk receptionist (qi qi) she had a gloomy demeaner the entire time during sign in and made me feel very unwelcomed. Not a very good first Impression.

    I have been to many massages both Malaysia and Singapore and I must say this is the best experience I have ever had. Chris ( my masseuse ) touches on every meridian points of my body as needed. From my toes to my buttocks to my back body , shoulders , neck and head. She massages me hard and effective so much so that I am feeling rejuvenated again after the massage. I highly recommend anyone who needs a good massage after a hard days work as u can feel relief after the massage

    Made reservation for a 90-minutes full body massage. Love every minute of it because the masseuse is strong ?? Served with ginger tea and dessert after the massage too.

    Would like to give my compliments to the masseuse Angie.She was professional and ensured that I comfortable throughout 2 separate sessions that I have with her:feet massage and oriental massage.Would highly recommend her as her techniques were amazing,felt alot rejuvenated after the massage!

    I would rate a zero if there’s an option. Such a DIRTY place! Don’t go even if it’s free! They offer low price to attract people. That’s a good reason for it! Staff not trained in massage and yet provide massage service. I had skin allergy after the massage. Rashes everywhere!

    Really good 90-min massage. It drained all my stress away, masterfully done ✅ had the swedish massage for that relaxing experience but they also have deep tissue massage.

    The location is a bit challenging because it faces away from the main road, but the facilities inside the place itself are pretty good. The room is spacious, massage table is comfortable, toilet is clean, and there’s also a shower in case needed.

    the swedish massage that me and my partner opted for was not relaxing at all although i think it was the fact that there was a communication breakdown between the receptionist and the masseuse as she did the acupuncture massage. my masseuse sophia she was pretty rough and the skills was lacking in a lot of areas. spend little time on my back and spend a huge amount of time on my legs even when i told her at the start that my back needs more massaging. i came to this place quite a considerable amount of times and i feel that the service is good, however i would say the masseuse i experienced today was the worst one of all.

    Milan is excellent with pressure points. Cathy is not bad. Gina is the Incredible She-hulk if you need a hard press.

    Booking was easy as I booked through their FB page. Request for the couple room for me and my friend. We took the 120 minutes Oriental and Swedish massage. Everything was fine.

    The Pros

    1. Reasonable price for 120 minutes at $112.

    2. No extra charge for couple room which is ??????.

    3 the environment is clean and the room is not too dark.

    4 easy to book appointment through FB

    The Cons

    1 Not sure is it a routine as my friend feedback that actually he requested for the masseur to focus more on his lower back and legs but the request was not granted.

    2. The masseur kept asking my friend is he okay is it too hard ect ect. My friend just couldn’t rest well through out.

    Generally very nice experience with Han Dynasty despite the two cons. Will definitely go back.

    The CS were attentive to my queries and provided speedy responses. It was a good experience but there was a communication breakdown between the receptionists and masseuses where the masseuses didn’t know we opted for the Swedish massage and was doing the traditional massage with acupressure until I realised midway and pointed it out. Even then I felt that the strokes for the Swedish massage were so fast albeit its claims to be relaxing. My partner did enjoy his massage though. The skills for the masseuses are okay, would have been more relaxing if the strokes were slower and had less questioning during the session. Plus point is no hard selling?

    My go-to place for massage every other week. I’ve been to the one at Balestier and also tried this one here in Thomson. However, ill always choose to come back to the Thomson Branch. All my experience was always good.

    However, this time round I wasn’t very delighted by the experience at the receptionist during payment. The girl who initially attended to me was alright. However, aother Customee came in and another girl took over. What she portrayed was an attitude that I have caused her great inconvenience, despite sometimes the payment mechanism may be take a while and sometimes it does require us re-scan the code again. I even apologized but she just ignore my apologies without an acknowledgement.

    On the positive note, my masseur Gena was amazing! She’s definitely whom I want to request every time I book with Han Dynasty! Totally worth every minute with her. Will return for Gena. 🙂

    Being a professional dancer, I am a harsh critique of massages. My second time at Han Dynasty and I would like to give a special shout-out to masseuse Lily.

    Without having to tell her, she could identify and release tension areas which needed more care. More importantly, she was consistent throughout the 1.5hours of strong pressure. Super thankful for her. Will be back again.

    Visited today with my partner to try their Couples Massage Promo currently running – Your choice of 90min massage, 2 pax. for $140++.

    The Signature massages we both opted for were very good, firm but hit all of the spots perfectly. The two chinese ladies (Linda & Wei Wei iirc.) who took care of us were a bit chatty but remained professional throughout and were great.

    We’ll definitely be back in the future.

    This is our first time visiting.

    Location:

    Quite accessible by public transport (Upper Thomson Mrt) 6-8 mins walk once u alight from the MRT. Does have parking spaces for those who drives, but limited slots.

    Ambience:

    Not bad, gives you the feeling is a real place (clean) for massage and not those Hanky panky type.
    We gotten a couple room, and there’s attached standing shower along.

    Masseuses:

    Professional, friendly, doesn’t waste your time and the pressure point areas were spot on. 5 star from us. It’s really worth the amount you spent.

    Total damage: $80 per pax for 1 & 1/2 hr body massage (We opted for Oriental massage)

    Lastly for customer service:

    We will only give a 3 star, both ladies at the front counter not professional enough. Attitude wise is so so only, and their knowledge of their own services / products have more rooms for improvement.

    For customers do take note that you will have to provide your NRIC when you fill up their forms. We wanted to put only the last 4 digit of our NRIC, but were told to state in the full. As their answers were, sometimes the police conduct checks.

    Saw dessert served under your review but didn’t even have a cup of water served after a 90mins massage. Disappointed with the service and massage was just average.
