    Nice modern studio within 5 minutes walk from my condo!
    I have been here for haircuts by Edison twice. Got what I wanted and afterwards got lots of compliments from friends and family. Easy to book appointments online. Coming back for sure 🙂

    Great experience with Jonas! Very professional and he gave good advice not only on the hairstyle and also the way to maintain it. Always worry that the hairstylist being pushy for the hair products, but he really gave me a good experience and would love to go back to him next time!

    I had come to this salon on 14th November 2024. I stumbled across this place while i was searching nearby shops for my convenience. The service provided by Nave was really amazing and the interaction I had with her was very heartwarming. Truly the best hair salon I have visited. Thank you for the amazing haircut and such a wonderful interaction Nave! The location is also walking distance from the MRT station which makes it even more convenient. Thank you!

    This barber shop is a treasure! My hairstylist, Jonas, is very skilled and the haircut he gave me was exactly what I expected and it also suited my face shape. The environment in the store is also very comfortable, the service staff are friendly and make people feel very relaxed. I have recommended it to my friends and they are very satisfied. Highly recommend this barber shop!

    Hairdresser no.1 recommended steaming my hair, which turned out to be disastrous – overly flat for my small head (inappropriate recommendation!)
    Hairdresser no.2 tried his very best to give back some body to my hair. I think he did a good job considering that’s a limit to what he can do. Even out the 2 days’ experience, 3 stars shd be a fair assessment.

    UPDATE: great service and responsiveness from the salon to offer a complimentary re-cut. Nave took a lot of time and care to make sure I was happy with my hair. Thank you so much – will definitely continue to visit in the future 🙂

    Original review:

    I had booked an appointment with Nave for a haircut at 10.30am but Nave was not there. The other stylist there asked if I wanted to wait or have her cut my hair. I said ok to her cutting my hair because I did not have time to wait.

    Nave only arrived around 11am when my haircut was done.

    My stylist was very friendly and personable but unfortunately, the hair cut was not as well done as it usually is by other stylists at the salon. The turnover of hairstylists seems to be quite high too, making it quite difficult to book the same stylist.

    I’ve come here about 5 times now but am re-considering whether to continue coming as I don’t really like that the quality of the haircut varies between stylists. Sometimes, the cost of $40 for a haircut in a neighborhood salon does not feel like it’s worth it.

    Awesome is not enough to describe the experience. This is purely DIVINE. Nave did a superb job of transforming the stubborn copper coloured head of mine. I finally got the colour that I have been wanting! Thank you Nave! Your consultation was detailed, you’re meticulous too! I’m glad to have listened to your advice 💕

    Not only did I leave with a fantastic new look, but the conversation with Nave and May added a profound sense of connection to the day!

    Edited on 30/8/2024 to include photos of my second hair colouring visit. Another great experience with Nave.

    Nave was very skillful at hair colouring and making sure that the hair was evenly coated and nourished with the Oway treatment. She was meticulous in the overall look of balancing the color and highlight with my base hair colour. Highly recommended. No stinging sensation either from the ammonia free hair colour 🙂

    Went for my usual hair appointment with hairstylist Nave.

    The whole experience from beginning to end was excellent.

    It is the first time I’m doing downperm for my hair.

    She went the extra mile when she realised my hair did not turns out to be what she had expected.

    Overall it is very value for money with the service that I’m getting.

    I visited for the first time in a while for a haircut. NAVE remembered me and cut my hair very carefully. I think it’s a wonderful technique.

    The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Reservations can be made from Google.
    A set that includes a cut, wash, and blow-dry hair for medium-length hair costs $53, which is good value for money.
    There is water service before the counseling session, and the counselors are good listeners and respond kindly.
    After washing my hair, the careful scalp massage felt good, and I felt relaxed for the first time in a while. I am also satisfied with the cut.

    Just a normal salon. E-D-I-S-O-N’s service is overly rated. Not interested in just hair cut. Prefer much more expensive services and rich customers. May change your confirmed booking to suit their affairs.

    I have a package elsewhere but needed a haircut nearer me. Stumbled upon this studio and randomly picked Nave. Was a good experience as she is very detailed in her work, fun to chat with and understands what you need. Highly recommend

    Found this salon via google search based on ‘nearest walking distance’ as I wanted a short trim and some layering urgently before giving birth.

    Was very hopeful at first after seeing how highly rated this salon is. However, the hairstylist failed to understand what I wanted, my short trim became a 7-8cm cut (my hair was around my waist level, walked out with my hair above my collar bone). And there was barely any layering done as well.

    The hair wash was very quick, and not thorough at all.

    It has been 4 months since my haircut with this salon and I’m still really upset with how my hair turned out. Waiting for my hair to grow out so I can do something about it.

    This salon charges fairly expensive for a neighbourhood salon too. My cut was 50+.

    Do not recommend unless you don’t really have a preference and willing to pay a premium for the hairstylist to go ‘freestyle’ on your hair
