    Hi, i wanna share with you, my hair is still manageable and the best part is i was damm worried to wash hair… but to my suprise the hair fall was minimal!!! wah cannot keep good things with myself so i share with you. 100% will come back for treatment and any other hair issues. Cuz i don’t wanna risk elsewhere. Best salon finally.

    Super super happy with my hair after the session. They were able to understand my woes and managed to solve the issues I’d been having with my forever-messy hair, and it’s now straight and healthier-looking 😀 Love the very detailed haircut too. Very friendly, warm and humble environment 💛 thank u!

    I’ve been a regular customer of Degree Hair Studio for more than 10 years. I absolutely love their services.

    From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and pampered. The staff was attentive and genuinely interested in understanding what I wanted. My stylist, Berne and Jas, was a true artist. They listened to my preferences and offered expert advice, resulting in a stunning cut and color that exceeded my expectations. They nailed it everytime! The salon itself was neat, clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. Emmerlyn’s attention to my comfort and her friendly demeanor made my experience all the more enjoyable. She has indeed went above and beyond. I always left the salon feeling like a million bucks and can’t wait to return for my next appointment!

    Also love the fact that they provide consistent services every time!

    Berne my best hairstyle
    I hv natural thick hair n not easy to mansge after groom by Burne its look naturally and
    and elegant look

    I use to go other salon just 2wash my hair only every haistyles said my haircut is nice .even in mwlbourne and china salin .
    I was v happy to hear about
    I with Burne for sbout 15 years .
    When i lived in melbourne for abt 3years . I csme bk evety 3mths will still let Burne to cuit my hair.

    Came here for the first time about 2 years ago and still keep coming back for my montly hair therapy. Recommended by a colleague of mine of this hidden gem. Haircut is always very meticulously done. Totally loves the friendly family vibes when I am there. Highly recommended.

    Huge thanks to Berne for his patience and very artistic styling. Have trusted his hair styling for my dance competitions since 2020 and the hair styles have always been what I wanted and he knows how to achieve the shapes I want. Definitely can trust Berne to do my hair for competition. Highly recommend

    I’ve been with Berne since I was 18 (16 years ago!). A good friend brought me to Degree and I’ve never left with a bad haircut or colour since. With Berne and his team (Jas and Emmerlyn), I can rest assured that I am in good hands. Over the years, we’ve gone through countless hair cuts and styles together, and I can trust that Berne will be honest and let me know when something I want doesn’t suit my face shape or skin tone. He also takes into consideration a person’s personality and hair maintenance level when he proposes a hair cut. (I am a out-of-bed-and-into-the-world kinda girl, so he always gives me cuts that are fuss-free.)

    I have always gotten compliments on my hair, and I strongly recommend the services at Degree.

    I have occasionally tried other salons but I find myself returning to Berne’s expert hands time and time again.

    Besides having great expertise in hair, Berne, Jas, and Emmerlyn are good-hearted people who genuinely care for others. Berne and Emmerlyn know when I need advice, and when I just need a listening ear. Jas is always ready with a joke and words of encouragement. I am so grateful for their love and friendship over the years.

    Love Degree Studio. I have cut, styled and treated my hair with Bern, Jess, Emmerlyn and team for over 10 years without fail.

    Bern just knows what’s best for your hair and style, I don’t even need to ask. I used to jump around so many salons until Degree and have never looked back since.

    Everyone is also very friendly, accommodating and have such great service. Even my little one goes to Degree now.

    My go-to place for a haircut and softening treatment.. Berne’s skills are unrivaled and I never fail to walk out with my hair looking great. Fun atmosphere at the salon too with Jas always exuding happy and cheerful vibes. Emily’s hair wash and massage is also something to look forward to. No hard selling at all.. overall a wonderful experience which keeps me coming back!

    I randomly (no recommendations either) walked into Degree Hair Studio last Sat for a haircut.

    Jas, owner of the salon attended to me. She listened to what I want and did just that! Then today I went back to color my hair, leaving my fate to her (no color chart, no discussion, whatsoever) lol.

    Surprisingly my hair turn out v nice and I am v satisfied and happy. Prices are also v reasonable.

    Jas is a natural! She knows and understands what I want instantly and best of all, giving me a v good results.

    I will continue to go to Jas fm now on. Thank you Jas!

    I’ve been to many hair salons before i was recommended by wife back then my gf…i was impressed by Mr Berne when he first cut my hair. Eversince then i never look anywhere else and has been his loyal customer for more then 10years…from bachelor/married/now father of two kids. Its has always been great experience as we always discuss what suits my hairstyle best as i always like to change my look every now and then. Degree Hair Studio is like the Barbershop the movie where its a place u can have all sorts of conversations with Degree Hair Studio family while having your haircut…May Degree Hair Studio continue to prosper always!

    Situated discreetly by the side of the eateries at level 5 but easily the BEST salon in the area. Me and my wife had been going to the same salon for more than 10 years and Berne (Director) has always give his best to reimagine and give fresh new looks to his clients, keeping each and everyone looking trendy and fashionable in all seasons.

    Recently did a soft perm (also known as korean perm) and was easily the best decision. The new look gives life and vibrancy. And oh, styling was a breeze. Guys especially with flat straight hair MUST go for the perm. My advise is do not be afraid and trust the team to do what they do best and be MESMERISED by the rest.

    If you are looking to color your hair, Degree has won numerous awards in hair coloring competition. Their skills in color mixture is second to none. The colors are insanely unique and the team give you advice on what sort of colors suits you the best.

    Many are long time and recurring customers. This is a testament to their consistency and constant lookout to pickup the latest hair fashion and give their customer a fresh look everytime they walk out of the salon.

    Have been going to this salon for the past 10 years. Always satisfied with their haircut and perming services. The boss and staff always ensure you feel at home and yet manages to conjure a good hairstyle whenever i went. Highly recommend this place for hair services. My friends always compliments me after the haircut.

    I’ve been patronising Degree for more than 10 years now and there are a few reasons why I continue to go to them on a monthly basis. Berne is my go-to stylist who is highly meticulous and has a keen sense of style. Not to mention the awards and accolades under his belt, so if you have no clue what you want, you can always count on him to give a recommendation that suits your style. Some think that the price point is slightly on the higher side, but to me you get what you pay, so if you don’t mind forking out a little bit more for a quality haircut, I’d recommend Degree for sure.

    Today, even during the circuit breaker period, i couldnt wait to get a hair cut & decided to go to Far East Plaza. This hair studio attracts me when i came up the escalator. I was always afraid that the hairstylist could not achieve my desired hair look & to my amaze, it look fantabulous & as i always wanted it. Kudos to my hairstylist, Mr Berne Tan. What can I say, his cutting skills are superb. He knows your hair texture & how to achieve the end result.
    I will definitely come back again for him cos its hard nowadays to find a really really good hairstylist who knows your style best.
    Tonight I am going to smile to sleep cos i’m lovin my hair!

    Had a haircut at this place. The lady didn’t care at all, washed my hair with shampoo for less than 20 seconds and the haircut was done without any care. You could tell the barber doesn’t really care.

    I often went to this place in the past but now the service has become so poor. $36 haircuts at this place are NOT worth it at all, I have had MUCH better experiences at EC-House for $12. I advise you look at other places for haircuts of such prices.

    First time getting my hair cut at Far East Plaza, and it was rather a disappointment. The haircut itself was pretty decent, but the price point was slightly ridiculous. Firstly, I walked into the store after having seen a student discount for a $20 haircut, but I was charged $36 instead. The store owner (the boss, I believe) was smiling and waving me in. So I sat down, waited for about 15 mins for someone to cut my hair. The hairstylist (I think his name is Berne) sat down to ask me what hairstyle I wanted. I told him a “two block haircut” but he seemed unsure about it and I had to show him a picture. For him to charge me $36 and not know what a two block haircut is, is slightly ridiculous. The haircut took about an hour (including wash and blow dry) and the hairstylist was not very efficient; he would pause in cutting my hair and engage in conversations with his colleagues. That’s one of the reason why it took so long. When it was all finally done, I went to the counter to pay expecting it to be $20 but the cashier told me it was $36, and that that deal was “no more”. I presume she realised it was ridiculous for them to tell me the deal was over and still have the $20 deal pasted outside their doorstep, so she changed what she was saying and said it wasn’t available on weekends. After I paid, I got out to look at the huge poster with the huge sign of $20 again, there was nothing about when the deal ended or when it was available. Overall, decent haircut but for the price of $36, I could’ve went to a better salon with better furnishing and more professional service than this.
