    Went for a hair cut for my daughter this afternoon. Service was quick but the salon itself was messy, unkept and hair was all over the floor. Stylist was friendly but midway into the cut, it was clear he was not up to standards. Fringe was lopsided, hair at the back was uneven. When he was done, we checked my daughter’s hair by bringing it to the front and one side was clearly longer than the other. Pointed this out to him and he tried to deflect by saying that it was layering -.- Came back home and realised that the back was also unevenly cut.

    For the price you’re paying here, I would have expected much better results. Definitely not returning and I would advise parents to look elsewhere.

    Update: thanks for reaching out – appreciate the prompt service recovery and offer of a complimentary session. We will not be taking it up as this is our honest review. Perhaps it was just our luck with this particular stylist.

    Staff were friendly and great with the kids. A few kids crying in there and the stylist was super patient with them. Love the update they give to distract the kids. The curtain to the hair washing area needs a wash but that’s a quick fix. Highly recommended

    My son had his first haircut at Bonbon. Lisa was the hairstylist and she did a great job – she was gentle yet efficient, and my child’s hair looks awesome!

    For a Blowout Bar, they are not very good at blowouts. Did a blowout and it did not turn out as what I have requested. I have fine hair, but I have done blowouts in many places which they are able to provide me the result I wanted. My hair was flat before I even got home from the saloon. Will not recommend if you want to get a blowout there. Also, not the mention the person in charge was not very friendly. She barely had greeted me, and hardly any communications to ensure I get what I want when she was doing my hair.

    My 3yrs old son hated haircut very much. I’ve tried going other salons. They don’t accept crying or fussy children. However I was impressed with senior leading stylist Lisa who was gentle and very patient when handling my child meltdown during a haircut. Thank you Lisa for accommodating!

    Tried this hair salon as we often frequent this mall. Was assigned to Lisa who did a wonderful job handling our 22 month old toddler’s first time at the hair salon. She was very attentive and patient. Also flexible as my toddler did not want to wear the hair cut apron and kept pushing it away. Every time he turned to look at her she immediately hid the shaver so as not to scare him. I was also observing other stylists in the salon and found that they were all well trained in handling babies to toddlers which must have been quite a challenge. We’re also impressed with Lisa’s skill for shaving his hair as my husband is quite particular about the consistency of the shaving. She also helped to blow away the hair that fell on him cause he refused the apron and tried to make him feel as comfortable as possible post hair cut. They also provided an iPad to show kids’ video of our choice to distract them from moving around too much. Had a wonderful first experience at this salon.

    First experience here tonight at Bonbon with our 2.5-year-old getting his haircut 💇🏻‍♂️ Must say this has been our most professional and meticulous haircut for our boy so far! 👏🏻 His stylist was great with the hair length just right, and did frequent check-ins to make sure along the way. Fuss-free experience for our kid who sat still the whole time. Thank you! 🙏🏻

    Dash and Nicholos were really helpful and friendly, loved talking to them and having our hair done. Our hair has never felt so soft or looked so shiny. Overall experience was great and very relaxing.

    I had my baby’s first haircut done at home by Dash, and it was a wonderful experience! He arrived early, patiently waited, and was so gentle and professional with my 2-month-old. Dash even filmed the process for us and provided a keepsake bottle with the hair and a certificate.

    Such thoughtful touches made this milestone truly special. Highly recommend—thank you, Dash and team!

    We chose Bonbon Blowout Bar+ at Marina Square for my daughter’s haircut after frequently passing by the salon.

    On our first visit, we tried a walk-in around 4 PM on a weekend but were informed that their schedule was packed. They kindly offered a slot at 7:30 PM, but we decided to come back another day.

    Yesterday, we visited again, this time with a booking. The booking process was seamless—I reached out via WhatsApp and followed the automated message to book through the provided link.

    Special mention to Lisa, who was absolutely amazing during the entire hair styling process! She was attentive, understood exactly what my daughter wanted, and even shared some great hairstyling tips. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the experience, from the hair wash and blow-dry to the haircut itself. The end result was fantastic, and we couldn’t be happier!

    Heard of this kids friendly hair salon for the longest time but only managed to try it out now.

    First of all, I am happy on the ease of booking. When I tried the online booking, I couldn’t find an earlier slot than noon time and WA them, they responded quickly to my queries and my booking was swiftly done.

    I went with my girls and were early by half an hour. Even in the late morning, the salon was already buzzling with customers. Mainly on a Sat were kids doing haircuts. My 10 years old girls were booked for cut, wash, and blow service.

    The hair stylists attending to them were great. They not only listened to what a parent expected from a haircut, they took the effort to talk to my kids and understand from them what they want from the hair cut. They showed photos of what they wanted, and the hair stylists patiently explained to them what to expect.

    The hair cut, wash, and blow were done very satisfactory, and the girls loved the experience.

    I think the bonbon blowout bar stands out for 3 reasons. First is having the really cute decor and tablets at child friendly station helped, 2nd to commend on the dedicate hair stylists and breeze of booking. I am also happy to receive the receipt via email, and 3rd, the price of the services is affordable.

    I will definitely recommend anyone (kids and adults) to try their service.

    Thanks Esther for helping my son with the Oppa’s hairstyle!
    I’m happy that he can sit throughout the haircut without crying, thanks for entertaining and ensuring him! Of course, the most important is the cool haircut !!!

    Brought Son for first haircut. After looking closely the cut was very bad quality. Uneven and doesn’t look professional at all. Not worth the money

    My child had his first haircut with Jeremy earlier this year, and we’ve been returning ever since. For the first cut, we didn’t want to use a shaver, and Jeremy expertly used scissors to achieve a look similar to a shaved style. He followed our brief perfectly and was very patient, paying close attention to every detail.

    After seeing how well Jeremy handled my child’s haircut, I decided to get my own done by him as well. Jeremy introduced products that suited my hair and provided excellent service without being pushy. I asked questions about a service I was already considering, and he addressed my concerns thoroughly, providing helpful insights.

    Jeremy is a fantastic stylist who listens and delivers great results. Highly recommended!

    Not sure why this place has such a high rating, my experience was bad. I got there on time for my appointment, they made me wait almost 20 minutes before anyone even talked to me. I went for the mud scalp treatment and it was done TERRIBLY. the scalp massage was jabby and not relaxing at all, and the staff clearly didn’t know how to wash hair because she got soapy water in my ears not once but twice. She didn’t even scrub thoroughly so there’s still residue on my scalp even after the wash – had to go home and wash it off because it began irritating my scalp. Will never come back.

    Not knowing anyting of the salon rating and book through classpass. The outcome of haircut and hair treatment is fantastic. The more credit goes when I’m not sure of the hair style it suits me and the recommended one is quite satisfactory. I was served by Nicholas. He is flexible and tried his best to get the beautiful outcome.

    Came in as the last customer for my 3yo boy. Stephen not only accepted us but really helped us a big lot by being extremely patient with my toddler who has a phobia of haircut. My son was crying murder and Stephen was cool and collected throughout the whole process. We usually bring our son to the other hairdresser down the aisle, but looks like we will be coming here instead. Thank you so much Stephen!

    Brought my toddler for her first haircut and was attended by Johnny. He was gentle and patient towards my child. My child did not fuss throughout and also had a short time on the tablet for distraction purpose which I thought was good.

    Would bring my child back again for future hair cut.

    Thank you so so so much Esther! You were so kind, patient and professional. If I lived in Singapore I would come visit you all the time. You made my experience here so great without knowing anyone. I hope you have so much happiness and success in life. I would absolutely recommend this salon to anyone. They were very busy when I stopped by but still managed to get me in within an hour and they catered to my requests, even when I accidentally became a burden. None of the staff made me feel out of place and they went above and beyond. Thank you a million!!!! 🥰
