    One of the top-ranking hair salons in Tokyo is now open at Holland Village, Singapore! Hair Salon Art-Noise is the very first Japanese hair salon to open in the West area of Singapore. Hair Salon Art-Noise Japan was opened on 18 September 2003 in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Art-Noise has continuously been at the forefront of the industry in the highly competitive Ikebukuro area for the last 11 years. Up till date, we have 7 hairstylists, 1 hair colouring specialist, 1 eyelash extension specialist and 2 assistants at our Ikebukuro outlet

    The other day I went to Daisuke for a haircut and rebinding. My hair is so beautiful and smooth, it feels like it’s been reborn! I will definitely come back to him. I will also recommend him to my friends and family.

    I had Daisuke do a cut, color and rebonding. I told him that my hair is very curly and I wasn’t getting the results I wanted at other salons. But he gave me a great style with ease. Daisuke is a rebonding specialist!

    Roots touch up colour was ok. However, the stylist had zero idea on how to blow dry my hair; no technique whatsoever, and then charged me $160 for the colour and blow dry. Very overpriced given `I walked out with damp unstyled hair

    got a creep perm(cold perm) with aki 5 months ago and it’s still going strong! This is the longest a cold perm has lasted on me!

    Had a great experience , very comfortable and welcoming . Would come back !

    I had a quickest haircut EVER! Wash, cut blow total in 30min!!! My appointment was 11:30am, I was wondering why Daisuke was rushing until I saw his next customer arrived at 12:10pm, why would he double book within an hr and he couldn’t handle 2 customers at the same time?

    Just visited this salon for the first time and had a fantastic experience. I got a cut and a straightening treatment from AKI, and he did an amazing job. He’s not only talented but also very attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout my appointment. The end result was exactly what I hoped for—super sleek and manageable. Definitely going back!

    As an expat I’m always anxious to go to a new hairdresser. I have fine Caucasian hair and colour my hair once a year to keep it healthy. While there are so many hair salons in Singapore somehow I was directly drawn to Art-Noise and I’m so happy I chose this salon. My stylist was Aki who was listening carefully to what kind of balayage and haircut I had in mind. I could not be more happy with the result. Aki is kind, humble and skillful. There is a certain zen feeling to his way of coloring and cutting the hair. If you’re looking for an amazing hairdresser who can cut and colour your hair don’t look any further Alki is your hairdresser.

    I was searching for a hairstylist skilled in cutting very short hair, as I know this style can easily go wrong in the wrong hands. Starting with medium-length hair, I was quite apprehensive. I spent time researching hairstyles I thought would suit me and began looking through galleries of stylists known for consistently executing great short haircuts. That’s when I discovered Art Noise and was drawn to their philosophy and mission of keeping their clients’ hair healthy—one major box checked!

    Next, I needed to choose a stylist. I called the salon to ask for recommendations, and the receptionist suggested Daisuke. Still feeling a bit nervous, I looked into his background and saw that he had experience from working in New Zealand and various other places. I decided to book an appointment, and from that moment, everything fell into place.

    Daisuke turned out to be an approachable stylist with a solid understanding of what works for different face shapes. He was attentive to my preferences, like not wanting a fringe over my forehead, and was meticulous in discussing the time and effort needed for maintenance. He reviewed the styles I had researched and made sure I understood that some might not suit my daily routine. With all the information gathered, he clearly proposed a hairstyle that would work best for me. Once I agreed, he went to work with confidence and precision.

    In under 20 minutes, I had a chic new hairstyle that I absolutely love! Daisuke was confident in every snip and took care to measure the lengths precisely, something I’ve never experienced with other stylists. His attention to detail was remarkable, and I left the salon feeling incredibly satisfied with my new look. Thank you, Daisuke! I’ll definitely be back soon.(PS. My hair looked even better the next day!)

    Got my hair cut here for the first time today and had Sayuri as my stylist. It was an amazing experience from start to finish, and she did exactly what I asked for regarding the haircut and it turned out perfectly. Sayuri was super friendly and skilled. Will definitely be visiting again !

    Had a haircut and balayage by Daisuke on 26 May 2024. For a high end Japanese hair salon (charging premium too), the service and outcome I got was worse than what you’d get from a neighborhood hair salon.

    Informed Daisuke on the following things I intend to do:
    1. Balayage with no bleach
    2. Haircut (trim) with layers and fringe

    After our initial talk, Daisuke disappeared for some time, and was back a couple of minutes later with some paste. I really didn’t think it was the color for my balayage since we have not discussed on the color details yet. After he applied it, only then I realized, but hey the color was already applied, and I thought he took reference from my existing colors. So ok, I didn’t really mind.

    After coloring is done, he washed my hair and only after did I realized that the color was nowhere near what you’d describe a balayage. Chunky, uneven and there’s no gradation from my actual hair color. While still in shock, processing what I see on the mirror, he started cutting my hair. This is not the first time he cut my hair, my previous experience was good, so I let him be. But after cutting my hair to the desired length, instead of moving on to cut my layers or cutting my fringe, he just blow-dried my hair and tells me it’s done. At this point, I don’t want him anywhere near my hair; so I just make the payment and leave. At this point I’m not sure what his problem is, maybe he had a bad day, maybe he’s not feeling well, but to charge a customer a premium for this kind of outcome is just wrong.

    Super disappointed, I’ve been a customer for some time. Will never set foot here ever again.

    Even if you ask her to leave it to you, she will definitely make it cute.
    Daisuke-kun is the best because he looks at the quality of my hair, the shape of my head, and balance, and creates a set that best suits me, and also teaches me how to do the self-set.

    The other day, I had my hair dyed and cut by Daisuke. He instantly understood the color image I wanted and gave it to me. The layered cut was delicate and the technique was excellent! I’d like to come again when I come to Singapore.

    I was nervous about what would happen when I got my first haircut @Singapore, but I had no complaints about the calm atmosphere in the store, the fun conversation, the pleasant head massage, and the perfect cut👌.

    My hairdresser when I was in Japan told me that she has some quirks, so please be careful. That’s what I was told, but I was very satisfied with how well it was completed without me having to say anything. I look forward to visiting you again soon, Mars.

    I had a pleasant experience doing rebonding with hair stylist Yuka. I did not want my ends to be too straight, but C curl is too much for me, so she did a very nice natural rebonding for me. She is also very sweet and pleasant. This is my 2nd time doing rebonding at art noise 👍 Thank you for good service!

    The hairstylist is good in cutting a bob style. However, this salon charged an additional wash & blow ($43) even when I did both colour touch-up and the Tokio inkarami treatment. I’m disappointed, as it’s the first time I’ve come across a salon that charges an additional wash & blow fee for colouring service + treatment. It’s really weird the way they charge.

    I had a rebond and cut at this salon in October of last year. Since then, my last haircut was last week at another salon. The rebonding they did basically burned my hair and scalp. To this day, I am still struggling with a burned scalp, that has scabs and terrible itching. When I recently got my haircut at another salon, the stylist said that my scalp was all scabby and that it was burned from the chemicals used to rebond my hair. He said that they shouldn’t have used such strong chemicals in my hair. It will take 3 more haircuts before my natural curl comes back. I will probably have to go to a dermatologist to get my red, itchy scalp sorted out. Terrible, I will never go there again!

    I’m a regular at this place with Yuka. She’s always very sweet, fast and tidy with her haircut and color.

    In and out about 20min for my regular short cut. Always turns out so nicely styled even with minimal maintenance.

    I had the most wonderful experience with the stylist called Daisuke. I got highlights done as the base and then colour that made my grey hair totally disappear and now I feel I look 15 years younger🥳🥳🥳
    The head massage and all the products made my scalp feel light and fresh. My 9 year old son also had a haircut by Daisuke and again, the result was just beautiful. I highly recommend this salon and would definitely return again on our future travels.

    I have been working with Daisuke in Singapore for the past few years. Every time, I am satisfied with the finished product. She’s easy to talk to, flexible with reservations, and is my favorite salon! This time, when I was talking to him about my scalp problems, he kindly suggested that I try using his shampoo. . I will love using it! Thank you as always! !

    I’ve been a Daisuke san’ repeat customer last few years. He is Very friendly and i am always satisfied with his service! You must give it a try if you are looking for good work hair salon.

    Had always been going for haircut with Aki almost every month 🙂 He had really good hair cutting skills either you are looking for a long hair or short hair. One most important things is he really cut fringe very well! Had so much bad experience with the cutting of fringe but Aki always can cut the perfect fringe I need. All the staff and other hairstylists are nice too, Highly recommend :))
