    Fresver Beauty started when an enterprising young woman had the vision of beautifying people. It gave her great joy knowing she could help others feel confident and was making a difference to their lives. Through sheer hard work, she managed to put herself through Beauty College with hard-earned money from door-to-door product sales. Eventually, she saved enough to start a home facial business.
    With a pool of ever-increasing customer base that always came back for her great service and treatment results, she was finally able to start her first beauty salon at Toa Payoh in 1988.
    This inspiring figure is Ms Alice Lim, beautician turned CEO who single-handedly grew Fresver from humble beginnings to the multi-award-winning brand it is today.

    I am surprise that Fresver Beauty is still alive now because I really had a terrified experience with them many years back at Far East Plaza outlet. It was my first visit there because of their trial price that’s y I decided to give it a try, but on the spot they told me that my skin is too sensitive so they upsell me and ask me to top up money for a better facial. I found the facial very normal and so I wanted to leave but the so call lady boss and her therapist stop me from leaving from inside the small room until I pay for one more facial as they said if I no money ask my boyfriend to pay for me lah and if not pretty boyfriend will go find other girls. So I am stupid I pay one more facial just so that I can leave the room if not they will continue all the boyfriend leaving girlfriend stories.

    Did my 1st trial . It was sgd 49 for first timer .. ended paying $200 coz they added a 20 mins bojin massage which therapist recommended saying it’s needed to circulate the blood first before the serum and facial chemicals etc can be absorbed. The bojin facial massage she originally quoted was $400 plus which I declined ! The stressful super hard selling came with the branch ops manager Samantha pushing me so hard to purchase their package after the trial. Funny thing is they don’t have a listed brochure with the alacarte pricing or package listed price . She quoted me base on her own numbers plucked somewhere written on a piece of paper .. from $4000 +++ for 10 sessions! Said it’s a 50% discount if I signed that instant if not price will be almost $9000 which is $900 for a session ( facial+bojin massage + eye treatment). I think it’s ridiculous and lucky I didn’t signed after reading all the above reviews on the service standards.

    Singapore No 1 super HARD SELL beauty saloon – Fresver! Awesome! Please visit without any bank card to avoid falling to their hard selling trap! TERRIBLE facial experience i ever had!

    Agree with the 1/2 star rating reviews. My trial experience was good, and they even convinced me to purchase a package. After i purchased a package and went for my first session, they left me with some inexperienced therapist who kept hard selling despite me refusing at least 4 times. Furthermore she made so many pricks on my skin that was supposed to be smooth but afterwards had unnecessary scabs.

    I agreed with some reviews posted is true they very hard selling during n after facial.Really piss off whenever go there for facial.Anyway will just finish all the package n never ever sign again ?

    I was serviced by beautician, Tina Hou. She is very skillful and professional in her approach. Very good temperament and enjoyed her service very much.

    I am a usual customer of fresver since 2018 and today I had one of the worst facials with them. there are a few bad reviews I have about fresver:
    1) They are very pushy and infamous for hard selling. This is even so if u own a package with them or even if you signed 3 packages with them, they will continue to push you to sign even more packages on your every facial visit. YES! EVERY facial visit. This is even after I told them I’m not interested, they will question you WHY? This is for your own good! and continue hard selling. It really spoils your mood.
    2) Do expect that they skip steps in your facial. If you are one of those newbie and not familiar with the steps of facial. Please let me share that I have caught them red-handed more than 3 times that they have skip steps. Their therapist are simply lazy and will sweet talk to you about your day etc, but you simply can’t relax during facial because you need to “stay awake” to make sure they do not skip steps.
    3) After facial, they will bring you into a small consulting room to sign, which they will again, hard sell you to sign more packages. So please be prepared. For every facial visit, please take note that they will hard sell you twice. One time DURING facial, and a second time AFTER facial and yes, FOR EVERY VISIT. I’m actually quite immuned now because I am those type that the more they sell, the more I won’t buy.
    4) Once you enter their outlet, they will examine your skin condition and they always have promotions ongoing for the entire year. From NY promotion, to CNY promotion, to Valentine’s day, to International Women’s day, to Vesak day all the way until Christmas. etc… if you don’t support them, they won’t do a good facial for you. And this is what happened to me today. A beauty therapist by the name of “TINA”, tried to hard sell me two types of facials, but i declined, then she decided to do a lousy job in my TLC facial today. By doing this to prove that my TLC facial which was once highly promoted is now a fad and no longer as “effective” as their ongoing new promotions. This is their marketing gimmick.
    5.) The price of Fresver’s facial are overpriced (their facials are priced at around $200-$400 per visit) considering their ambience, therapist, and service. For this price, I recommend Hanbang Facial at wheelock place, or Banyan Tree Facial and Marina Bay Sands. You don’t need to go to Fresver with this price. I believe you will definitely enjoy the facial at Level 57 of Marina Bay sands or some 5 stars hotel than a $400 facial at Fresver. and yes, they will say they will give u a promotion of $100, and it is still $300 and more expensive than MBS’s facial.

    I’ve recently “top up” my PLC facial package to Diamon Luminous facial package. And eventually for 1 session of diamond Lumious facial cost around $300++.. can anyone advise if this is the usual price?

    Had my 4th visit to Fresver Beauty (Tampines) this week, Jan 2022. Overall the treatment and therapist was good, had a relaxing 1.5hrs facial.
    The downside from each of my visit is the hard-selling during and after the treatment.
    During the treatment, the therapist will asses your skin and recommended either a top-up treatment or some sort of one-off treatment. It was a good gesture to recommend your client but the hard-selling after saying no (for a few times) was a put off.
    Came to the last bit that made each of my visit a draggy and UNPLEASANT one was when you asked your client to go to a room (with both the sale manager and the therapist). The manager will go on and on talking about the treatment package, why you do not come often enough, there’s a one for one home treatment…
    Rather than investing your time and effort too much on hard sale, I believe if you do a good job with a decent charge to your clients, people will come and visit more. Please don’t make it a draggy and unpleasant visit for your client every single time.

    Very hand selling., which are annoying to the max!
    After my trial session the sales rep will try to hard sell to purchase package while the therapist is sitting by her side also trying to double pressurize me., regretted to sign their package, from Day 1 till the last session, each session both sales rep and therapist will try to hard sell me to purchase more sessions/ more body parts. I couldn’t even have a peaceful session while having each session.
    Their massage are go by parts: upper back and lower back consider as 2 parts, and Upper abdomen and Lower abdomen also consider 2 parts! How could you do a massage separate from upper back and lower back? Moreover 1 session for both parts cost $300++ if you sign a package of 10?? Like seriously?!
    No more U turn after I completed my last session.

    I’m writing a review for the new Stars of Kovan branch. Honestly their facial is alright- its did not wow me but you know still passable. As for their beauty products wise, I’m still unclear whether good or bad as I don’t have terrible skin but neither have I seen any significant difference yet. (Btw they are using their own brand of products) Stars of Kovan branch feels clean and hygiene in general, as it should be as it is still relatively new. However like most of the other reviews, I must point out their hard selling tactics which are annoying to the core! During the complimentary massage, the therapist was even trying to coerce me to get package! And after the facial session the sales rep will try to hard sell me something while the facial therapist is sitting by her side also trying to double-pressurize me. And mind you, they will not take NO for an answer. If you’re indeed confident that what you have to offer has substance and is a good deal, you do not have to resort to this kind of desperate hard selling! You will only end up creating a bad reputation for yourselves (judging from the reviews here)! Also this type of selling tactics remind me of a pack of hungry hyenas who can’t wait to pounce on their next prey – not a good impression at all!

    I couldn’t agree more to the bad reviews here for Fresver Beauty Tampines!

    Mia, the therapist, attended to me. During facial, despite saying she was not hard selling, Mia persistantly requested me to top up serum. When I repeatedly reject, she asked if it was unaffordable. When I mentioned that I have facial package somewhere else, she said, “Then you must be really lucky that my marketing team selected you for this free trial. Luckier than buying 4D!” Would you please remind your staff to be more tactful talking to customers in future?

    Not only did my skin look and feel worse than before the facial, the extraction was so badly done, leaving me with a large blood clot and a huge bump even until the next day. The pictures below speaks for itself, the quality of facial.

    It was an even more unpleasant experience when the consultant did not even bother to acknowledge the huge blood clot bump yet attemp to sell packages to me.

    Went facial with my dotter to tampines brand. As they said on the phone long before that I can use my account for sharing with my dotter, get in there n they said I have to pay for her. Hence they trying their hard selling for the package for my dotter, they was telling me that my dotter need some treatment then said she got her own dermatologist doctor and we were there was just like me to spoil my dotter. It was just really a very tiring day after facial and feel discomfort after all!!!

    Fresver Beauty Tampines, It’s the most hardsell facial I ever encounter. During the facial they will ask you to top up this and that for a better result. But when u sign package they told you, this package is good enuf for ur condition. After facial, the senior will hardsell to u again. This is not what I expected from a facial session. It supposed to be a relax one

    FREAKING HARDSELL. After every session the sales therapist will always hardsell packages in a private room. Sell for the sake of selling. Will never go back again after finishing my package.

    Been with this facial shop for 5 years now. I have become increasingly disappointed with their services. I understand the hard sales, but it all came to a head 2 weeks ago when I visited for my monthly facial.

    The girls asked me to complete a declaration, which I listed in honesty that I had a cough (which has been ongoing before the Cov19 emerged). I got invited into the facial and was instructed to change. I was changed and lying down when a sales consultant came in to inform me that they are unable to continue with the facial, owing to my cough. I would have been ok if they asked me prior and informed me before I changed that they were unable to proceed. However, that was not the case.

    To make things worse, they proceeded to “arrange” for my next appointment for March. Their appointments are increasingly hard to book, customer service also getting worse.

    I’m not intending to renew any further once my package is used up.

    Same sentiments as other customers. Honestly, their facials are decent. However, after the session, a senior consultant will sit with you in their consultation room with your facial therapist and pressurise you to purchase something. ANYTHING. It doesn’t matter if you said no multiple times.

    I was disappointed when the facial therapist started to hard-sell halfway through the facial, even more disappointed when I have to hear it again after the session, and was ultimately disappointed when she said things like women having to take care of their skin because we use our face to make a living and other sexist language. Freaking uncomfortable!

    Very hard selling. Signed a package with them. During each session, the facial therapist will always ask you to top up for a better treatment and keep pushing. Very persistent and will keep asking you again and again after many times of rejecting. I have to say that their facial was decent but the constant hard selling was very put off. Sometimes I wonder what they said about my skin condition was true or they just want to gain more commissions.

    the hardsell here is the worst i’ve experienced. after the treatment, 2 of them will hole you up in a room with extremely aggressive hardsell tactics (1 seemed to be more senior, like a professional hardseller, and the other was the therapist).

    one thing that was a dealbreaker for me was that even though i repeatedly said that i was not comfortable with spending so much money, they kept telling me to get a line of credit and i could just pay it off via installments. they kept pushing it and i think i must have declined 5 times and they were still going at it.

    do you seriously want to give your money to these people who are encouraging self-conscious females to be financially irresponsible?

    I have visited the outlet a couple of times and their staffs are generally courteous. All my therapists are very friendly and welcoming. To be honest, their facial services are pretty good. However, after every session, a senior consultant will sit with you in their consultation room and pressurise you to purchase more and more with them (even though you already own a package with them). I feel very disappointed with their persistent and constant hard selling, hence I am revising my review. Like every other beautician you are visiting, please be prepared for their hard sell tactics and tricks.

    My first visit was a raining day and found a shelter and book for a facial. Staff were friendly and helpful and subsequent facial was good too. Decided to sign a package for their nice hospitality extended to me.

    Love the shoulder massage prior to facial. There are alot more massages using their hands rather than those equipments which felt impersonal.

    Please dont get cheated by all these positive reviews. I doubt all these reviews are projecting the true facts. Sometimes beauty salons offer extra discounts for customers to give positive feedback on google plus. Hence many customers will give positive feedback.

    Agnes, my therapist, was absolutely lovely and the treatment was fantastic. My skin felt very soft and the tone was more even after the treatment. Highly recommend fresver!

    It has been some time since my last visit. Agnes, my therapist for my last 2 visits is the biggest reason why I love about this place. Despite my serious blackheads and oil bumps problem on my face, she did her very best to extract it gently and to share with me tips to solve my problem. What I like about her is her dedication and sincerity in her service. She was not rushing through the entire process just to get you to buy products and packages but instead she is genuinely, working on your skin thoroughly to ensure you see result at the end of the session.
    If I have something to complain about their service, is that I can’t appoint Agnes to serve me all the time 🙁

    One of the best facial place I’ve ever been. Was served by May. She analyzed my skin and told me my issues. She wasn’t pushy to make me purchase more treatments but encouraged me if it was okay for me. Great service from first session!

    On 21/3/19 is my first visit at Fresher Beauty Tampines. Agnes is my therapist. She was absolutely sweet and friendly. She was very patient in explaining the products very step she apply on my face. She also give me some Beauty Care tips and health tips, because I got heart problem. Nice talking to her, Today I visit Fresver Beauty Tampines again. Jessie skill very good.I like her massage neck and shoulder.She also very caring. I really like both of them. I will visit Fresver Beauty again

    Tried out facial at the Tampines outlet. The staffs are really delicate in their massaging techniques and sincere. I have very sensitive skin but i have no issues with the products thus far. Have received a lot of facial tips as well!

    It’s my first time here for a trial referred by a friend of mine. Was consulted by Shirley and had my treatment done by May. Coming from me being a first timer, i was warmly welcomed by the friendly staffs and had a very smooth conversation with both Shirley and May. The entire treatment was wholesome as i am well informed of the equipments and products that was to be applied to my skin and i had an enjoyable time experiencing the process. Both the consultant and therapist understood my needs and gave me the most suitable treatment for my current condition. I am impressed with just a trial session, and i will definitely come back for more! To the ladies out there that are doing your research, do highly consider to try them out, be assured that you’ll see a positive result on that very day!

    Very thorough facial treatment although I signed a basic package. Location is accessible and very relaxing and serene atmosphere! Always a delight to come and get my facial done. Beauticians are also very accomodating and friendly. Makes it a very wholesome experience all the time! Keep it up!

    I’ve patronised Fresver Beauty (Tampines) for several years now and seen improvements to my skin. My friends and colleagues have also commented on my good skin. The staff are friendly and attentive to detail. I feel comfortable with having any of the staff attend to me because every one of them is skilled and knowledgeable. I feel really relaxed after every session. Keep up the good work ladies!
