    I usually go somewhere else for my facials but on this day, I decided to give Sothys Premium Salon a try as I was always curious about it. Chose the anti ageing facial which cost $220 for 1.5 hours. From the very start, I already kind of regretted it. The room where you have your facial is very tiny and does not look premium at all. In fact it needs a facelift. It’s as good as your regular HDB facial shop. They start you off with a foot soak and I was left to sit there with my feet soaking in this bubbling foot spa for a good 15 mins. The water wasn’t even warm so after 5 mins, it felt really boring. Soon the facial began. The therapist was quite “rough”, slapping on the products on my face and her strokes felt quite rushed. We went through the facial – steaming, extraction and mask – which was ok but the experience did not feel premium at all. The massage was really also quite average. Think my biggest complaint is the quality of the facial. The therapist was just v average only. Furthermore I saw that she’s a Sothy’s Golden Badge winner – to me, it doesn’t mean anything if the quality is so Low. Overall, I felt like my regular HDB facial aunty does a better job for less than $100. So I will never waste my time and money here again. And yes they tried to sign me up for a package at the end. Seriously..?
