    I’ve been a loyal client of my manicurist and nail artist, Gwynes for at least 6-7 years, following her to whichever nail parlour she’s working at because she’s the only one I trust with my nail art. She’s so meticulous and talented.

    Glad that she’s now at Painted Nail Bar, which has two convenient branches located in River Valley and Orchard. I’ve been to both branches and they are equally comfortable; nice ambience, clean facilities, friendly staff. 10/10 would recommend.

    Very comfortable and quiet salon where I can relax comfortably while having my nails done. Both the nail technicians who attended to me are very experienced and helpful, especially my manicurist, Meiyun. She is always careful to take care of my frail and brittle nails, so that I can do gel manicures continuously for a long time. Amazing work!

    The staff are so incredibly meticulous and patient in handling my stubborn in-grown toe nail issue. Very skilful with their gentle touch, a fine and delicate balance which is a rarity. Not forgetting to mention that they are so friendly, and it feels like catching up with a bunch of old friends. In terms of environment, it is inviting and clean, and the location is very accessible. I look forward to my monthly appointment!

    My nails were done by Gwynes. She is very creative, detailed and offered very good advices on nail art and maintenance of nails. She is my go-to person whenever I need my nails to be done beautifully.

    i showed up for my $25 quickie pedicure and they informed me only when i was there its not gel and its normal polish and its $70 for a gel pedicure. $20 for removal of gel pedicure. ended up leaving because staff was quite rude and ignoring me and they charged me $7 for cancellation. super horrible and not clear on description of service

    Edit (2 Feb) – changing my star rating as the customer service is good. Received an email explaining what happened and why they couldn’t get in touch which is fair and understandable. Appreciate the prompt response and rebooked for a session at the River valley branch a day later. If the staff are the same across both branches, the service is great! I’m going to put the below down to a bad experience/one off

    Had a booking and they didn’t bother letting me know that their shop was closed/my booking was cancelled. Wanted effort and trip over there. Their River valley branch is definitely the better one – never had any problems!

    The online booking is simple and what I appreciate the most is that the manicurists don’t push customers to buy packages. The products that they carry are of top quality that helps protect my nails in the long run. I totally enjoyed my 60 mins of pedi nail retreat 🙂

    I visited on a weekday morning, was pleasantly surprised by the quiet and cosy atmosphere in the shop. Think plush sofas and warm blankets to welcome you when you’re there to get your nails pampered. The manicurist was very detailed and professsional yet friendly, checking with me periodically to make sure I was good and comfortable. They don’t rush to get the job done too, so if you’re looking for a nail salon that pampers you and your nails, Painted Nail Bar is a must visit!

    Nice woman but not very good service and my nail has turned green!

    I had an appointment on the 31st of December (1 week and a half ago)…

    The service is super friendly the woman did everything to make me feel comfortable.

    However, honestly the worst manicure I’ve ever had… the gel started to crack and broke my natural nail underneath it. Breaking into my nail bed and ripping my nail off the nail bed.

    And not to mention the worse thing is I now have some sort of nail infection. I have attached photos below, the nail surface is rough because I ripped the gel off but you can see I have some sort of fungus infection on my nails which I’ve never ever had before!

    I am honestly looking for some sort of compensation or a partial refund. Because I had really long healthy nails a week ago… now I have green broken nails…

    The nail artist was really friendly and professional throughout the whole service and was really professional as she managed to find the colour I was referencing from pinterest, also allowed me to try on the colours before really applying on just incase I didn’t like the colour. She was also very gentle throughout the whole service. I will definitely come back for my next nail appointment! Plus the environment was really soothing and pretty?
