    Worse ever! I signed the classic gel pedicure package for $1K plus and they claimed that I can used anytime even during festive season there will be no surcharge. And this year, they suddenly change says management need to charge surcharge. Never honor their words!

    Staffs here are very friendly and environment is cozy. Particularly like Selina Dam, she’s very patient, clean the nails thoroughly, very detailed and did a very good job! always provides good recommendation on colour too!

    Went for this under their promotion and the price was really cheap. However, I guess you get what you paid for because the whole experience was not too great. It feels like they’re just trying to get you out of their shop asap so that they can churn out more people.

    Even the hard selling was done half heartedly with the store manager just telling the manicurist to go and sell the package. Don’t think I’ll be back to visit again.

    Realised they removed my previous review which makes me wonder how many negative reviews have they removed from here:

    Had a very negative experience here. Firstly, I had a previous toe extension from my previous pedicure just from a month ago and when I did my new pedi here the nail technician tugged at it quite hard when shaping my nails and also did not warn me that it would fall off in just a day. The next day right after doing a fresh gel pedi 3/4 of the nail fell off as the extension broke without any vigorous activities, was literally just sitting down. When I went back to ask for a touch up, the nail technician mentioned that she will just fill up the broken 3/4 part of the nail (without extension) and without removing the remaining 1/4 part of the gel nails. When I asked for them to remove and just redo the gel part she suddenly said they need to charge me which was quite ridiculous given that their gel pedi could not even last more than a day. After making some noise because I said she did not as a professional say that the extension needed to be removed, she started to reapply the gel to the whole nail but did not even shape it and her bad attitude was written on her face as she was super unhappy and she started doing slipshod work and not even letting the nails dry properly as the LED lamp was switched really fast (usually one would let it dry for at least 30s after every coat) – she probably switched it 5s after applying each coat and only 2 coats when one usually apply 3 coats of colour.

    Writing this just LESS than a hour after she redid my nails I realised the nails were not dried properly and I could still feel the stickiness and the top coat shine has been lost and the texture is uneven. I was seriously annoyed as I specially made the trip down to redo the nail after making a call only to have this sort of slipshod work done with an attitude. Would not recommend coming in here just to feel bad as a customer.

    Also when I asked for any add ons for some simple nail art they would give exorbitant prices such as $85-100++ for a simple nail art design, and prices were not inclusive of GST.

    Update on second experience:

    Because I had one more time here that was already paid for, I went back and saw the same girl who gave me an attitude the first time and she immediately hid away without even saying anything.

    Next, the manicurist poked my finger till it bled while she was cutting my cuticles and I had to deal with an open wound for the few days after while I was on holiday. And the gel manicure did not even last 3 days before it cracked and fell out again.

    Plus I realised my right toe nail was crooked after I went home. Apparently she told me that my nail was too short to cut but I’d at least expected it to be straight?? She didn’t even bother to file it straight before the gel pedicure.

    Also the staff at the place kept making demeaning comments about how my nails are too thin because I don’t go to a fixed nail place lol. Of course I’m not going to pay exorbitant prices at this place for such bad services.

    The staff is extremely polite, service is very good and they don’t push you into the offers if you’re not keen. Charlotte Yong always does a great job on my nails. The package has no expiry which makes things flexible. Recommend them as they have a chain of shops too!

    Excellent service and despite cny period, the staff din slow down their service and no hard sell as well. Price is definitely reasonable given the awesome service rendered. Thumbs up to selina dam and yang!
