I still had $98 balance left from credit and before was $100+ credit left. However, they tried to hard sell me a new package when i have still balance left. The ladies are very persistent on hard selling package when they damaged my nails before by buffing down my nails to a thin layer. Not going to sign up with them again. Now I’m just waiting to used up my remaining balance

Rude. Worst manicure experience. DO NOT GO!!

I thought maybe I was just unlucky today but its seems like most reviews aren’t positive as well. I would not recommend this place. You are better off trying one of the other nail salons on the same floor.

wanted to get a soak off and my nails done so i visited their store. can’t deny that the manicurist was friendly but she did a really shoddy job with my nails. firstly, the colour coatings are really uneven.. there are parts of my nails where i could still see flesh colours.. secondly, i’m not sure why there very visible bumps on my nails as well.. it was a really disappointing experience. will never return again !!

This is the most horrible service I’ve ever encountered. The way she placed the UV light lamp was super aggressive. Their faces wasnt even friendly. Do for the sake of doing. Came home with nails not properly done and the coating of the nail polish peeled off. Worst service ever. $70 gone just like that, what a new year nails.

Not a pleasant experience. Regretted for signing up package there.

Returned there for the last time to clear the balance of credit left.

In the whole process of pedicure and medicure, the two staff serving me were chit chatting, making fun of the customer who has left, talking about their colleague’s bf, questioning their colleague for making late appointment that delayed their time to end work, etc while making my nails. In the midst of when they were so occupied with their conversation, one of them accidentally cut the skin of my finger, then told me my skin was too thin that’s why. She then rub the part with alcohol wipes- it’s sore okay.

Upon payment, the staff was checking the Ipad to see my credit balance. I requested to just take a look at the balance (as I never receive any notification of credit deducted, or balance of credit left after the past few visits as proof). But the lady was holding on to the Ipad and refused to show me. She just read out the balance of credit left. I don’t even know if what she read is true.

The total I spent was more than the credit balance left. She suggested me to keep the credit balance for next time use, as the credit balance is insufficient for the total spent which I won’t get to enjoy the member discount. I told her that’s fine and I will just use up the credit balance and pay cash for the total even if there’s no member discount.

What’s the point of keeping if this is the kind of service?

Lastly, there’s a twenty cent credit balance left, and she told me that’s扣不了的. I don’t understand why, this is still consider my store credit no? I decided not to ask cox I really can’t wait to end it fast.

This salon used to be my go-to gel manicure salon at Bugis Street when my go-to manicurists (Jia Jia & Hui Teng) were still around.

I gave it another shot after 1 year and the Malaysian manicurist that served me was really dishonest and rough throughout the entire process. She applied 2 layers of hardener ($10 per layer – which I know about only after I asked why is the preparation process longer than usual sessions) without informing and accused me of requesting for it. In fact, 2 out of 3 of the manicurists (the Malaysian manicurist that served me and the Chinese manicurist, Lu Ying) came together and accused me for something I did not do. Both insisted that that extra amount of money to be topped up meant nothing to me and said I should pay for it since they have already applied it. I rejected the arrangement, and the Malaysian manicurist was obviously displeased with my reaction and began filing away the layers of hardener violently instead of using the right tool. This act has caused cuts on my fingers so much so that my fingers bled and hurt when I shine it under UV.

Final results of the nails was extremely disappointing with uneven coating.

Do not recommend. Overall, overpriced and dishonest staff.

Excessively pushy selling their package when I’m just trying to get an express pedicure done. This kind of hard selling behaviour has to stop when customer reject. The manicurist went on and on for the entire session till the time I paid. Lol

Service is good and fast if you come at off peak day and time. Will always try to sell you fungus meds, sea salt and nail hardener like others have mentioned. Didnt continue my package because it’s hard to get walk-in slot on weekend while many other shops available with same pricing.

Wished I have seen the Google reviews of this place before going. Randomly chanced upon the nail salon and went in because there weren’t many people. This was a mistake as the whole experience was very unpleasant.

Firstly, I asked the staff to recommend a red nail colour tone that is suitable for my skin. One person said rudely, “Only you will know which colour will suit you.” indicating there is no need for them to recommend because I should be the one who should know. I am not the professional here? Shouldn’t you, who do this for a living, should know which colour would suit your customer better?

Secondly, the staff that attended to me was wiping off excess nail polish with her nails, and it was VERY painful. It felt like a knife slicing through my skin. And I had to endure it ten times for ten of my nails.

Thirdly, they provided me a basket of nail colours, and I picked out one that looked nice. Then, they told me that the nail colour I picked has a $10 surcharge because it’s a “special colour”. Why didn’t they just tell me that in the first place that certain colours were chargeable? It’s so stupid.

What poor customer service. The reviews are real. Please DO NOT come here.

Go to another freaking salon because the customer service is probably better.

I have been a customer for more than 4 years at lily nails, there are a couple of skilled mani/pedicurist who are patient and friendly who always attend to me during my visits.

I was attended by a fresh face a few days ago . Did mani and pedi using my package with a balance of $107 . Upon payment, I was asked to buy another package of $388 to enjoy the the package discount eventhough I have existing package +balance .( my nails amounted to $103 WITHOUT discount ) and if I would not sign up the package on that day , the next time if I would wanna sign the package it will be $488 instead .

I voiced out that I would want to finish my balance and may consider to top up during my next visit. The hardselling went on for about 8mins with a very unhappy face /tone.

Additionally , one of my thumb and big toe nail coating was inconsistent…

If you wish to do nails at lily nails ,please be prepared that you will be hardsell with packages!

Look the manicures are great, cheap and pretty quick- but when you have 2 stores with 10s of each other with the same name and branding you cannot turn round and say they are different businesses and the package purchased in one cannot be used in the other! Then tell me you have no time to see me and push me off to the other shop to pay full price plus a fee to remove polish done at the other branch? Feel scammed and cheated!

    Worst nail service ever.

Not exactly cheap and service was so poor, staff were rude as well.

Went w my friends, my nails hurt like crazy under the UV lamp. Initially I thought it was because my nails and the polish they applied were not compatible, (allergic or something) but apparently my friend had the same issue. They were also rushing to finish up the job, polish was poorly applied with only a single layer and even cut my feet when clipping………………….

Updates: I got a toe infection from the cut

I asked 60 mins foot, but she stopped less than 40 mins later, so I told her 60 mins, then she did another 5 mins, even I said her early to finish but she tried not to understand what I mean, I had to pay 60 mins price for less than 45 mins, they are dishonest, another staff was sitting on the chair for customers next to me and using her mobile, I often heard very noisy sound from her mobile, so couldn’t relax at all and had to give up to ask their services because it’s not worth it.

went 4 months ago and paid $28 for french tip… came back and asked for the exact same design and the lady said it was now $38?? she said add $20 for just the french tip which is ridiculous considering it was an express manicure which usually costs $18 with the justification that every shop has increased prices, went around asking the other shops how much french tip was and they said $25 … highly do not recommend this dishonesty and how can adding a french tip cost more than the actual mani itself? and four months ago it was still $28 why would the increase in pricing only affect french tip and not the express mani. also not a very good job done with the painting, don’t waste your time here and go to the cheaper nail salons

I have really dry and calloused feet, so I was hesitant to go into any nail salons and often settled with temporary measures on my own. One week ago, I was walking around Bugis Street and wanted to visit one to have my nails better-looking for cny. Weiwei from Lily Nails Salon was friendly, she saw the condition of my feet but did not charge me extra for exfoliation. To be very honest, it wasn’t quite an enjoyable process, with times of “feeling rather unsettling”. Not sure if it was more than the usual of preparation for my feet before the pedicure. Anyway, I managed to chat abit with her and got to know her shop was one of the very first shops around. (There’s many other shops in the vicinity doing the same services) Nonetheless, I had an overall okay experience doing my nails at her salon. Weiwei was professional and efficient in cleaning the cuticles, removing callouses as much as she could and doing up nails. (Thus 4 stars given, with 1 star left for improvement of service)

I did a classic gel manicure and pedicure, pictures shown one week after visitation. Paid $98 in total, including cny surcharge. (Pardon the condition of my feet)
