    Would give this place more than 5 stars if i could. Sofeah did a wonderful job with my haircut and was so polite the entire time. Been here thrice and this has to be my favourite haircut in my life. Thank you!

    booked a senior stylist hair cut in the afternoon through the website. was seated and made to wait for 15mins before haircut start . guy went to reserve another person. after 15mins into cut, was asked once to wait again for haircut . waited another 10-15mins . hair wash soap touch my lower chin face area. not sure how he did it.

    For the final product , there are much better stylist elsewhere

    whats the point of having a reservation system if i have to wait ?

    Not recommended for the price of $45 for the service provided. obviously the staff are understaff or poor time management system in place

    As someone who wears cochlear implant, I am never a fan of visiting hair salons for fear that I may not be able to hear the stylist while getting my hair cut. Sometimes, most stylists forget that I’m wearing a cochlear implants while styling or combing my hair. But my friend recommended me KIMAGE and I was impressed for the first time after my recent visit. My stylist, Khai, communicated with me by typing out as well as using hand gestures since I am hard of hearing. Most importantly of all, I felt so comfortable and relaxed without my cochlear implant since he knows how to communicate with me. Super in love with such amazing customer service plus my new hairstyle and colour. Will definitely visit only this hair salon from now on and recommend to my family and friends!!

    Heard good reviews from frens and tot to try out the haircut service since salon is considerably near home. Booked an appt for a senior stylist (which comes with no choice as there was only 1 available thru the online system) hoping that nothing could go wrong as my hair is not easily manageable with the natural curls.

    Unfortunately the outcome was disastrous. First time ever that I left the salon with my hair worse looking and messier than before I entered the salon and the layers were not evenly cut with the right side more layered than the left which I only realise the next day after I wash and blow the hair myself. Overall my hair was more frizzy and tougher to manage than before which I cannot understand as well as all I did was cutting (prolly about 3-4inches off original length) and my request for my hair to be able to fall nicely in place with least maintenance.

    I would not recommend this outlet as in my opinion, I honestly don’t find my service is being done by a “senior”. Not to mention that the convo between another stylist (which I assume is junior stylist) is rude when the customer was trying to convey what she wants for her hair color

    would not recommend. got my hair rebonded by junior stylists at their previous outlets and didn’t have a problem. when i went to this outlet while the junior stylist was very nice, she seemed like she didnt know what she was doing half the time. she couldn’t even bundle my hair up properly and the way she went about the whole thing just felt kind of sloppy. on the website it said it would take around 2.5 hours but i was there for nearly 5 hours. now my hair is rlly damaged. i dont want to pin it entirely on the salon bc this is my first time rebonding coloured (but not bleached) hair but i wasnt told that there might be a possibility of damage whatsover. if i had known i wouldnt have done it. and i could hear her supervisor whispering to her and saying something about “spoiled” while she was looking at my hair but neither of them informed me of any issues

    I have been going to Joyce for about 2 years now and whenever I dropped in she knows how to cut my hair. Even hair colour she recommends which colour suit my skin tone. I have a very natural curls that can be intimidating for hair stylist to cut.

    I’m still trying to get used to my hair, they really did a bad job. I expected a lot after paying so much. It’s not even what I asked for. The highlights are so chunky. I emailed them and they told me they can’t do anything about it. The junior stylist did not ask me any questions and just started working on my hair, the outcome was not what I wanted. She looked at the senior staff and went “it’s not what she wanted” and then stopped and said she will tell her senior staff in private. I’m extremely disappointed. My hair is so damaged right now and it’s all for nothing. I would not recommend this place.

    booked an appt with a junior stylist for a haircut and it was done badly. there’s like a bunch of the front part at the same length, making it so thick and stiff.
    decided to give another chance and make a booking for another stylist for hair dye and haircut. hair color was done ok, as i wanted a simple brown color, but this stylist layered my hair so much, the back part was so short, the length was like the mid of my head, can u imagine how short was it. not sure how long i have to wait for it to grow, it’s so ugly and curling outwards, making it so hard to handle. definitely not coming back. hair color still ok if u don’t mind

    Stylist: Vicky has been a very nice and friendly hairstylist thumbs up to her! Shes listens and caters well to which haircut/ style i want. Will definitely love to come again for her services 🙂

    Decided to give Kimage @ Tampines a try and absolutely love it! I booked junior stylist – Khai for a hair cut and he nailed what I wanted! His skills are at least at minimum a senior stylist. He was very gentle and attentive to what I wanted and I highly recommend him! Will be making my future hair appointments with him.

    Got my hair dye & cut by Vicky, who is very pleasant, patient & professional. She recommended me the right colors to match my color state. Also, the trimming was done very well. The ambience was great as well. Will patronize again 🙂

    Got my hair cut by Sofeah and had a pleasant experience. Understood the hair style I wanted and made suggestions to better the style. Meticulous and attentive to details making final trims to ensure the cut is good. Also gave tips on how to style the hair back at home. Would come back to have my hair cut by her.

    Terrible service. I have been rebonding my hair annually at this place, but the service has deteriorated. No tea was served, and the stylist burnt my left ear because she didn’t cap it during the rebonding. I noticed my hair sticking out during the process, but the stylist said it was due to the way her colleague blow-dried my hair. As expected, my hair was sticking out tremendously after the second day. Moreover, my hair was not even cut properly. Now I have to return to rectify this issue. Waste of time; do not patronise this place.

    Booked an appointment for my husband, but wasted a trip down to be told that the stylist doesn’t handle men cut. We were forced with the option of choosing a senior stylist instead. It should have been stated clearly on the website if the stylist only does Female customers. Terrible experience, felt like we were scammed. Would have given zero star if I could.

    I visit Kimage Tampines once in a while but this is my first time to have my hair cut by Vicky Teh. She is skilful and expereince especially on my fringe. Overall, I’m very staisfied with the end result, she did a fantastic job 👍👍

    Terrible haircut, it’s a shame. I have no words, i feel so scammed. I payed for the senior stylist, cut my back all straight… Will take months from now to recover my previous style.

    Terrible !!!!!!! I asked for hair treatment and was told $106. At the end of it I was charged double of it ! And when I asked they said no difference and I should do scalp !! Without consulting me! When I have my own oil or treatment for My scalp. Was not even sorry !! Atrocious!

    Upset. I only need a trim and falow original style. But the hair stylist cut my hair very casual also thin my hair. Even when I check with him original style do not thin my hair, but still do himself. Now my hair is a mess. And it’s cause me a lot uncomfortable and inconvenient.

    First time here, brought my husband along. He is very picky with his hair and havent been able to find the right hairstylist to cut the way he liked but also have the stylist tell him what is best for his hair. Suffice to say, my husband likes his hair cut and told me he would come back to the same hair stylist.

    For me, the hairstylist knew what i wanted and explained to me what she will do. She knew what to do and helped thin out my hair.

    Too shy to ask for their names but we will definitely come whenever we need a hair cut again.

    Got my hair permed a few weeks back by junior stylist Khai, quite happy with how my hair turned out, he even provided detailed tips on how to keep my hair curled, which other hair salons fail to do. He also advised what fringe length I can get. Worth it for the price, was afraid my curls might go away really quickly but so far it’s still pretty obvious!

    I got a haircut by the junior hairstylist Khai. Not only he delivered an excellent haircut, but he also shared tips on how i can style my hair. No hard selling n the whole experience was comfortable. Will definitely come back.

    Typically salon would serve drinks/tea and some biscuits for customers, in case they get hungry and thirsty after sitting long hours there. There wasn’t any drinks or snacks served here so service wise pales in comparison.

    Shop exterior and interior is pretty, they
    have a locker for you to put your belongings which is pretty smart and detailed to include in the design.

    They were having an ongoing promotion where you get to burst balloons but it is for customers with package (i think). It was quite loud when the balloon was burst maybe they could have opt for another method for such lucky draw.

    Cost wise, it was 80 for men perm (junior male stylist). He is the busiest in the shop since most of the customers opt for junior so be patient ya! (and not sure if they will pay accordingly to the customers they take LOL the seniors were quite free)

    It was quite funny that when one of the female staff was asked to help wash the hair to rinse off the chemicals, she is purely going through the motion and not really washing the hair. She swiped through the back of the head without contact… -1 star for this

    Went for a Cut + Wash + Blow promo with a senior stylist, I wanted to go short so it doesn’t bother me much that the stylist initially said to cut away X amount but ended up cutting away twice that.

    I had requested to shorten my hair without thinning or layering as I have incredibly coarse, wavy and fizzy hair which thinning and layering would only further exaggerate it. However after being gaslit by the stylist for my absurd request, we went with whatever he wanted to do with my hair.

    The wash and blow were great, but the cut – as expected, went horribly. It is just not suitable for my hair type and you’d think a stylist with years of experience would know better than just using a one size fit all technique/on different hair textures.

    After the cut where he very proudly shared he had thinned more than 50% of my hair, I ended up looking like a lion – not in a good way!

    Not everyone can afford daily salon blowouts, and now I have to maintain it with excessive use of heat (extremely damaging for my type of hair texture) to appear presentable.

    In hindsight, yes – I should have better advocated for myself but we should expect better attention to customer’s request.

    Male Senior hairstyles whom cut my hair was just lazy. Felt n look like a $5 Haircut. Need to tell him to blend the hair, outer lining of the hair was uneven,Sideburns was uneven. Need to tell him that. Didn’t even wants to cut the top. Ask him to trim the tip of the hair for the top. Said OK but just randomly cut the top. Alot of “reason” to defend himself on the error i mentioned. Finished haircut with no hair wash and hair all over my face. Need to ask for something to clean my face. On the other hand, had several hair cut with their male junior hair styles there. He was better and much well spoken.
