What I really liked about this spa are their attention to your needs and the cleanliness of their spa. Definitely a thumb up for anyone who wishes to enjoy onsen followed by a nice massage.

Top notch service by manager jason and the female staff were all so polite. No hardselling. Very pleasant time. Wards off colds well.

Average service. I’ve visited this place 3 times. I thought the expensive price meant better than the usual experience, but it was super average. The first massage was amazing but my second and third visit it was a completely different (lower) level and meh experience. The main (male) cashier at the desk was very weird and rude to me on my second visit. Overpriced place, I recommend just going to Natureland. It’s cheaper, more predictable and a much better service experience.

Today I’ve purchased an autumn promotion package comprising a thirty-minute onsen bath and a 90-minute massage. I’d say the overall experience was fabulous. Especially the massage, worked on my body by the super skilled Vietnamese therapist Kim, was really impeccably good. She was thoroughly knowledgeable about human body and did an amazing job to untie the knots all over my body. I feel so relaxed and refreshed after the massage. Will definitely return here.

You get really great service here from the moment you walk through the glass door. The rooms are Japanese themed and totally conducive for relaxation. Definitely worth making it a monthly treat.
While the staff at the counter informed me about the perks of being a member, there was no annoying oversell like what they do at other establishments. This is definitely a plus point because we go to a spa to relax and the last thing we need is to be harassed to sign packages. Well done!

Cut my massage short as the masseuse was clearly very inexperienced and the whole massage was very uncomfortable. Have left the spa with a splitting headache (after my neck massage), all the aches and pains I had when I went in and with much less money (less than an hour for $173).

The front desk apologised, but were unresponsive to follow-ups. I think a lot of the reviews below are inaccurate, but I share a similar experience of an inexperienced masseuse which the 2 star review outlines. Overall, this place really falls short of its price and reviews.

Bought the birthday surprise as a gift for my best friend. The staff at Ikeda were absolutely amazing and made us both feel super pampered! We really enjoyed having the VIP suite (Clarke Quay) to ourselves and highly recommend it to anyone who just wants a bit more privacy, it made the occasion very special! The onsen was as authentic as the ones I’ve been to in Japan. The massage was really relaxing and the staff were very friendly and accommodating right from the beginning! Felt very at ease! They also gave my friend a card which i thought was a lovely touch!

Disappointed that a voucher my friends had purchased for me had expired by 12 days and Ikeda staff were completely unreasonable about honouring the voucher. Wouldn’t it be nice if they had emailed a reminder that the voucher was to expire soon, I guess that kind of service is going above and beyond which they aren’t obligated to do.

my favourite facial and massage place. each session, though with different esthetican, is always very good as they will ask questions prior to each facial, to understand your concerns on that particular day, cleansing is always very thorough and not rushed. I also enjoy their deep tissue massage, very professional and can feel “suan” on the places they massage. keep it up!

Pricey but good service. The environment is clean and quiet despite on a busy road. You can park outside the shop

Really nice place to de-stress and relax after long day of work with their many different selection of massage therapies. Their facial is also pretty good too.

Possibly the only place in SG where you can get bird poop as a facial and walk away happy.

Came to the bukit timah branch for a facial and ended up with a foot massage as well! Facial was really good… can feel that the products used was top grade… added a 30min massage and wished it was longer… Best part is that i called today for the appt and they managed to slot me in! Great for busy city pple… having been to many international chains spa, yet this is one of the best that i had. The staffs were very welcoming. I booked a couple room which has an outdoor onsen that is perfect! literally feels like a little kyoto.. just that it is in singapore Thank you for the great experience!

Came here after looking at good reviews and blog posts about a Japanese garden and decided to try their facial experience. Didn’t mind taking a taxi there just to experience it.

Note: If you are a foreigner you can’t use any specials they post online or on fb, only Singapore residents with NRIC

1st experience here, paid the full price for a facial, was received at the reception, filled up details and went up to one of the rooms. Staff are friendly. I’ve done facials elsewhere in Asia. The lady I got was pretty new 2 years experience and from Korea. Nice lady but didn’t feel that the service was very good, face didn’t feel very clean or hydrated.

Don’t expect to see a japanese garden. After the service I was seated at the reception, had some pandan tea and a biscuit. Was disappointed as it was a nice sunny day and I came in the afternoon. Was actually looking forward to a Japanese experience.

I drop by Singapore quite often, will be going elsewhere.

Was searching on the net for a good spa and stumble upon Ikeda Spa, Singapore’s first Japanese Spa and indeed first class as well.

Came in on the 2nd of March with my friend to give it a try.
From the authentic decor, to the warm treatment by the staff, Ikeda has certainly lived up to the awards that they have achieved.

The Onsen bath was refreshing, giving u the feel of what hotspring is like in Japan. Its a communal pool made out of wood. The relaxation i had for 30min with the soothing music was amazing. Coming into the massage room, the interior is top notch with an attached bath for you to wash up before or after the massage.

I chose to have the Samurai massage and my masseuse, Judy, was on point. She was precise and professional in ensuring that pressure applied was suitable. Somehow she knows where my muscle strains are even without me telling her. BRAVO on that!!
And lastly no Spa is complete without light refreshment which they served hot tea.

Certainly an experience worth every penny and I would like to thank Ikeda Spa Prestige for their heartwarming hospitality and would certainly come back in time to come.

    ありがとう
