    I had a hair cut/ bleaching highlights/ colour to intentionally leave my grey hair untouched and was served by Zackey san. He is a friendly professional, caring and a dedicated top stylist. Zackey san is attentive, meticulous, he has an excellent hair cutting, colouring/ highlights and styling skills. The hair colour products did not cause discomfort to the scalp/ hair. Excellent haircut/ service, a welcoming/ relaxing hair salon with competitive price. I can now embrace my grey hairs while feeling/ looking better, it’s easy to maintain too. Truly satisfied with the results. Much appreciated and highly recommended!

    Zackey is an incredible stylist who truly puts customer satisfaction first, taking the time to listen and understand my concerns and preferences while thoughtfully suggesting ideas that suit my lifestyle and priorities.

    His attention to detail is incredible, and he genuinely cares about what’s best for his clients — he even chose not to proceed with a service because he felt it wasn’t needed at the moment, even though I had already booked his time and was ready to pay for it.. Instead, he spent time teaching me how to style my hair myself, making sure I got the technique down. Such a professional and caring stylist — I’ll definitely keep coming back!

    Good service, expertise of staff and experience here! I got my hair done by Zackey and I have also had it done by him in this previous salon that he was at. Needless to say, Zackey has always been very friendly and warm to talk to, open to give suggestions and advice in regards to queries which one might have. I would definitely return back to have my hair done here again and I am sure that everyone will have a pleasant experience here!

    I came to the store for the first time and had Zacky cut my hair.

    I’ve been under the care of Seiya for the past decade and I cannot say enough on how meticulous and professional he has been. He makes appropriate recommendations, always with the interest of getting the best results without compromising scalp and hair health. You are in good hands with this team!

    I’ve come to HaLu hair design a couple of times. The first time was for a hair cut with Seiya and second time for a hair straightening with Zackey. Both experience were delightful. The stylists are easy to communicate with and are very gentle with my hair. Highly recommend!

    Find a Japanese hair salon near my house! I’m satisfied with the first experience. Arigatto to Zakery san, for helping me with my hair cut and retouch!
    Shampooing also was great!
    I was so happy for great service as I felt in Japan. I definitely recommend this hair salon!

    Followed Zackey from the previous salon to Halu to do my routine keratin and haircut. Always friendly, skillful, open, and provided expert opinions on what was suitable while never pushy. 😊

    While never explicitly requested, he was especially attentive to any slight comments I made, and walks through the steps prior to check if you’re okay with it.

    Amazing service and hairstyle, and will definitely come back again. Thank you Zackey.

    First time having a bob haircut with Zackey. He’s meticulous in his work, very friendly and able to communicate very well in English. He asked question about small detail e.g. how I style my hair or the thickness of hair I’d prefer. The haircut turns out quite nicely and hair wash was relaxing too.

    I’ve always struggled looking for a hairdresser to cut and style my naturally curly hair since young. But I came across Halu Hair Design researching on google in Jan of this year, 24 and chose Seiji who was so meticulous and skillful and offered very good hair recommendations whilst taking into consideration what I wanted and requested for. I came back this morning and had Seiji cut, colour and bleached parts of my hair which was something he recommended during my first visit to the salon and I was so very happy with the final results. I highly recommend Seiji and Halu Hair Design 🖤

    Thank you Zackey for dyeing and cutting my hair. Zackey is friendly, patient and chatty. He offered his expertise advice when I asked specifically on the haircut and style I should do this round especially for my bangs. Enjoy the service session with him and I shall see him in the next session.
