    My first visit to Hair Studio Flamingo at Tiong Bahru for a haircut. I am very thankful to the hair stylist Mr Jiro for his skills and expertise in hair washing, cutting, layering and blow-drying. Throughout the consultation he listened and understands about my concerns and he also advised me about his recommendations. He has the ability to achieve the hairstyle that flatters my looks and it was exactly what I needed for a beautiful haircut. Overall experience in this Hair Studio was relaxing and trustworthy. Thank you so much for a good service!

    Really enjoyed Jiro’s service and hair cut. He was very attentive to details, from making sure i feel comfortable to being meticulous to every strand of my hair. He catered the style to my face shape, and he made me look good even with just a seemingly regular hair style. Will definitely go back again!

    Requested style: No layer. I don’t like layer. And I prefer volume hair looking.

    Specialities: They use quality products.
    From start to the end all done by only Kiko instead of done by assistant. Usually other salon Stylist do maybe only 20-30 percent. The rest done by assistant yet charged for professional stylist fee.

    Hair type: Breakage, damage…..

    Stylist: Just done my hair by Kiko. Love it! He is very professional. He check with my preference before given suggestions. After hair colour, treatment and hair cut, he teach me how to blow my hair patiently. After treatment my hair very soft and smooth. And I love my hair cut very much

    Mr. Jiro gave me a very thorough consultation and cut and curled my hair very carefully. Of all the hairdressers I’ve ever met, no one cuts my hair as carefully as Jiro. She is a hairstylist that I would definitely recommend to everyone. It was a nice beauty salon with a very calm atmosphere.

    i felt here is authentic Japanese hair salon in Singapore. visited Tiong bahru branch. spacious and cozy atmosphere.
    hair dresser Jiro has cut and trimmed my hair professionally. overall satisfied with the style.
    the shampooing is better than other shop too!

    I had such a great experience at the Tanjong Pagar outlet that I decided to visit their new Tiong Bahru outlet when I was in the area. I highly recommend their services for anyone looking for a fuss free haircut that lasts for months. They asked questions about my hair care habits and created a very consultative experience, as well as provided a lot of after care tips that I greatly appreciated. A great place with a lovely atmosphere to drop by after brunch! 🙂

    Had my hair done by at this studio by Hiro! It was such a pleasant experience. He was very professional and friendly. Took the time to understand my needs and expectations. At the end of it, he even gave me tips on how to better care for my hair. Will really recommend this salon and this stylist! Will come back again!

    I visted this place because of my girlfriend’s recommendation. I never found the reasoning of why I should spend more than a few hundred on a haircut. But after coming here, I finally understand why.

    From the second I walked in, to my hair being cut and my hair being shampooed. Each and every single step, I was taken care well by my hairstylist – Makato. He was so friendly to me the moment I took the first step into the store and he made sure I had a good experience throughout.

    Thank you Makato! I’ll come back ANYTIME!

    1st visit to Flamingo. Love the bright airy space of the salon in the old Tiong Bahru
    houses and the salon was conveniently located right beside the bus stop. Hiro was very friendly and meticulous, checking my hair condition and also discussing with me on what he intends to do and offering suggestions (We made a few references to Google translate which was a breeze ;p). He was also very attentive and careful to check on my condition, taking precautions especially after he learnt my scalp may be slightly sensitive at times. I love the hair style and colour he recommended for me – taking note of my preferences. The new brownish red colour ” cleverly” made use of my previously bleached highlights to create a new nice flowy look. My new hair style is now lighter, fluffy (has volume) and easy to manage (wash & go) – just the way I like. Thank you, Hiro 🙂

    Always a fantastic experience here, the hair stylists and eyelash stylists always know what looks best. Had a quick trim with Jiro today that honestly revived my hair. Haven’t gone to any other salon in Singapore
