    Hair cut is above average but price is too high. Not worth it. Only 1 hairstylist who is also the boss. Lack of a variety of hairstylists to choose from.

    Jacky is a talented and experience hair stylist, he is Knowledgeable on the different hairstyle trends does his absolute best to make you look good. Salon assistant is also professional in setting up appointments etc

    Jacky has been my go-to hairstylist for the past seven years, and I couldn’t be happier with his meticulous attention to detail. He doesn’t just cut hair. He truly understands what suits my face shape and listens carefully to my preferences.

    I still remember when I had long hair and had never dared to go short since primary school. But because I trusted Jacky completely, I took the leap and chopped it into a chic bob. It was one of the best decisions ever. I looked 10 years younger and absolutely loved the fresh, stylish look! To this day, he continues to help me maintain my style, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair.

    Beyond his amazing skills, one of the things I appreciate most is our conversations. I truly enjoy the intellectual discussions we have every time I visit. I’ve always felt that one of the worst things about personal services, whether it’s hairstyling, facials, or massages, is enduring an hour of awkward small talk.
    But with Jacky’s vast knowledge and wisdom, I genuinely look forward to it.

    If you’re looking for a stylist who not only gives you the perfect look but also makes the experience enjoyable, Jacky is the one.

    It is definitely an amazing experience at Gataomo! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the clean, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The Creative Director certainly knows his trade and what to do, so you can definitely leave everything in his good hands with peace of mind and relax!     Jacky is very knowledgeable on the different types of hairstyles and provides very good advice on what kind of hairstyle would suit a person’s face, as well as how the hair grows and flows and affects the overall shape.

    Carmen is also extremely helpful in making the booking of appointments a hassle-free experience!

    I quite enjoy the hair-wash and massage experience as well, it is very relaxing. I once gave a passing remark about having a headache on a particular day and they even provided some essential oil to help to ease it! Would highly recommend!

    I have been visiting Gataomo and getting hair styled for almost 3 years. I always have satisfaction from the haircuts I received and customer service they provided.
    Jacky(my hairstylist) is a talented hairstylist, will always listen to what I want, will make suggestions and create hairstyle that really suits my face and what I want.
    Customer service provided from all Gataomo staffs is always excellent too.
    Satisfaction and relaxing experiences are only things I receive here. Never had a bad experience from all my visits.
    Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great hair salon!!

    Jacky has been our trusted hair stylist foe me and my brother for years. He is super attentive and provides impeccable cuts which are easy to maintain and grow out very well. Even though I now work overseas, I always make sure to schedule a cut with Jacky whenever I’m back. Highly recommend you try him out!

    I have been getting my haircut with Jacky for quite some time that I have lost track of the years. He is highly skilled, meticulous and knows exactly what works for me. The cut is precise and suits the style that I want. I also like how well he paced each haircut between customers – there is no overlapping, and full attention was given to me every time.

    Have been with Jacky for 20 years already. Sometimes when I can’t meet his schedule, I have tried other hairdressers but none as well-suited as he is, at least for me. His style is like a magical fusion of Western and Japanese haircuts. With focus on overall shaping and the detailed layers typical of Japanese style. At 40, his haircut still makes me feel like I’m trendy yet appropriate for my age. Thank you for the amazing 20 years and more to come!

    Best Hair Stylist in Singapore – Jacky at Gataomo

    I’ve been a loyal customer of Jacky at Gataomo in Far East Plaza for over a decade, and I can honestly say his skills are exceptional. I have wavy hair from the root, and Jacky knows exactly how to handle it. I always feel confident leaving my hair in his care. His method of trimming helps me lose some volume, and I love the results every time. His director haircut pricing is reasonable, and I trust him completely to give me the perfect cut. That’s why I always go back whenever I need a trim or cut. Highly recommend Jacky for anyone looking for a skilled, reliable stylist!

    I have lost count of the number of years I have been with Gataomo. The salon has a very cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Director Jacky and his team are very warm and friendly people!

    Jacky is very professional and meticulous. He sets high standards for himself in order to meet and even exceed his customers’ expectations. He offers sincere advice but is also not pushy.

    Not forgetting Carmen, who is always so gentle, patient and attentive!

    One of the best hairdressers I go to every time I need a haircut. Trusted, no hard selling, kind, honest and just wonderful therapeutic haircut.

    I have been going to them since 2017 or 2015 I think? And they are still there till today!

    Do seek out their lead hairdresser Jacky, the director and they do not just provide haircut services for unisex clientele.

    They also provide aroma therapeutic neck and head massage once the haircut is done! I love it and all the time I feel like a fresh man coming out of Gataomo!!!

    Please keep up the great service! Thank you Gaotaomo for your professional staff like Jackie and his lovely assistant Carmen who helps out to give great hair wash and aroma therapy with a beverage!

    Have been getting my hair treated by Jacky at Gataomo for many years. He’s always on the lookout for new trends and understands what your needs are. He does not compromise on quality and is always meticulous with his scissor work, which is award winning in itself!

    If you are feeling inspired and would like him to decide on a style for you, he considers multi faceted factors incl facial shape, hair type, length and your personality. I’m sure he’s popular with others as well given how hard it is to make an appointment.

    Have been coming to Gataomo for 15 years and their service has always been top notched!

    Also, Jacky is a very talented hairstylist ! He is someone who’s very attentive , and genuinely cares for his customers 🙂 Carmen who helps with admin and hairwash is also someone who is very helpful and caring !

    Lastly, Gataomo is always thinking of how they can improve the overall haircut experience of their customers – from better hair products to massage services to little things like phone charging terminals and many more !

    I highly recommend Gataomo to anyone who’s looking for a good haircut experience 🙂

    Booking experience was super friendly and easy. Jacky was meticulous with the cut and often checking in to see if I was comfortable with the cut. I was clueless about what cut I want. Fortunately he was able to make some recommendations and I really like the cut.

    Overall vibe at the salon was quite cosy and chill.

    Had a great experience with Carmen at the salon. She was very meticulous during the scalp treatment and provided thoughtful advice, along with samples for me to try at home. The entire session was very comfortable, and I appreciated that she never pressured me into anything. Highly recommend her for a professional and stress-free experience.

    Great services provided here and the hairstylists here are professional, explaining about the treatment done! David (my hairstylist) certainly knows his stuff and was also meticulous, upon knowing my hair condition, had also done a scalp analysis!
