    I recently took my girlfriend to District 19 Hair Salon in Sengkang for a full hair makeover, which included a haircut, digital perm, hair dye, and treatment.

    We were fortunate to have Deslyn as her stylist, whose expertise and advice were exceptional! Deslyn’s was very meticulous and gave a haircut that perfectly complemented my girlfriend’s features. The digital perm gave natural-looking curls that added a fresh vibrancy to her style and the chosen hair dye harmonized really well with her new look. The treatment also left her hair feeling really soft and healthy. Deslyn’s proficiency and attention to detail made the entire experience really enjoyable and comfortable!

    I first chanced upon District 19 when I was looking for a salon within my area. Read the raving reviews and contacted Denton to arrange for a haircut appointment.

    The overall haircut process was something I had never experienced before. Prior to starting the cut, Denton took the time to ask and understand the hairstyle that I was going for and advised me on the types of hairstyles that would suit my hair texture and length etc. The cut itself was quick yet detailed and skillful. At the end of the cut, he guided me through on how to blow dry and style my hair. Just had my third haircut today and it was fantastic as always.

    If anyone is looking for a trusted barber who will take care of your hair needs, Denton is highly recommended!

    Denton made my hair so pretty!! I told him I wanted a style whereby it’ll still look natural when my roots grow out and just trusted the process. He’s super meticulous and made sure to create a gradient in colour.

    I only go to him for bleaching because i know he’ll do a good job and my hair will not be damaged. Also did not touch my scalp at all. Highly recommend!

    This salon was recommended by my friend. During my first visit, Denton who attended to me is a great stylist, meticulous and has a great sense on colours. Ken and Stanley make it a good team too, friendly and efficient. If you want good advice on anything about hair, everything is at their fingertips!

    They use reliable hair products that we have heard of, not those cheapo types that damage or dry hair. Can tell that they care about customers’ hair. Of course that reflects on the price a bit, but hey, I work hard and they make me look good and feel good, why not? No need to look left or right, just walk in! Highly recommended!

    During my 1st visit to this hair salon after reading the good reviews, I was attended to by Stanley. I went there after for hair wash and blow. Stanley was very friendly and professional. He also gave me advice for hair fall issue. He was not hard selling. He did a very good job. Was totally satisfied with the service provided and highly recommended.

    Good stylist, nice and trendy hair colors. I took off 2 stars for the price, as they’re quite pricey for neighbourhood salon. and salon needs a little bit of maintenance upkeep. sometimes, I feel like not clean.

    Stanley did a great job for my mother. Knowing her hair texture was not the best and she had died multiple times using box dyes. He managed to clean up her dye-work and did for her a colour that she really likes. Good job.

    Appointment made in advanced on same day , reached shop and was asked to wait 30 mins. Ok, waited 30mins and go back to shop again, was asked if I have appointment, said yes and was asked to wait 30mins earlier on. Told to have a seat and wait for another 30mins first.

    Totally no sense of timing and not everyone has the luxury of time (probably have other appointment or stuff planned personally) to wait for 1 hour or so for a haircut.

    Total waste of time to wanting to try this salon for a haircut.

    Go ahead and plan for a trip if you really have time to wait, no idea how good the services are but go at your own risk

    Had a haircut and wash here the previous day. My hairstylist Deslyn was nice, friendly and professional. The end result was amazing and I was extremely satisfied. The services here are definitely a must-try.

    See here the review like very good so give it a try, So I have a very fuzzy and messy hair! I can’t stand it with curly hair.

    Just when I was about to give up on my hair because of its condition, I came across Denton from District 19. After reading all the glowing reviews he had, I decided to give it one more shot. I’m so glad I did! The results were exactly what I hoped for, with no damage to my hair. No regrets at all—I’ll definitely be coming back! 😎

    I came here to cut my hair drastically short, and they did not disappoint. They managed to make my hair the exact same as the reference picture and yet made it look good. The hairdresser was very gentle and even gave me advice before cutting. If you need a layered haircut, come to this salon. It’s 25 dollars for my layered haircut at student’s price even though it took one hour. Highly recommended!

    First visit here was recommended by my friend – really was in dire need to get rid of my grassy/lightened brown shade and Denton came through!!! Loved the service, quality, as well as the attention to details. 1st photo (on the left) was my first visit, and 2nd photo (on the right) is my most recent trip down to refresh my colour! Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for someone that you can trust 100% with your hair. 😊

    Was cut and dye by Denton and the haircut is exactly the same hairstyle which I requested. He also gave alot of suggestions and provided very good services. Would go back to him again for the next subsequent hair services. Highly recommended.

    I guess all the 5 five star google review here is fake. This China hair stylist Ken. Starting told me hair treatment will include cut hair, but however after washing the hair he change his mine and told me that trimming for hair is chargeable and the their hair cut service is badly skilled

    extremely bad hair cut done by denton… he ruined my hair and i felt so self conscious and so sad, the way he cut was completely different from the reference pic i showed him… i didnt want to go out for a few months due to this bad hair cut…

Denton is able to help find a suitable hairstyle whilst considering both your personal preference as well as what he deems ideal for your face shape. He also gives great advice on hairstyling tips and how to care for your hair better. Already looking forward to my next haircut with him!

    Having rotated through many hair salons and barbers over a decade, I chanced upon Denton at District 19, who I found to be the best hairstylist I’ve met.

    From day 1, Denton understood my needs and produced a haircut that was suitable and high quality. He understands nuanced hair cut and styling details and how to adjust to flatter facial shapes and structures. His cuts are also fast, meticulous, and consistent in quality.

    Compared to the other salons, Denton will take time to explain and discuss the look whenever I’m unsure. He is also very updated to the latest trends which I find it important. Overall , experience at district 19 was never bad.

    This is the second time I went to District 9. My first experience was quite bad BUT on my second visit- Willey was my hair stylist and she did a fantastic job!!!. I love my hair cut 😍 I will definitely look for her next time. 👍

    Decided to give District 19 a try based on the numerous good reviews, despite being overpriced for a neighbourhood salon and the promise to assign experienced stylist. Went ahead with a $400 soft-rebond and color after consultation with a so-called ‘experienced’ stylist and self proclaimed rebond expert.

    At the end of it, she started cutting away some flyaways from my fringe and front sides even though I told her not to, she just kept snipping away. Now I realised she did so in a bid to ‘remove’ the fried chunks so they don’t look so obvious which worked then, as i did not have my specs with me. Dye stains were all over my forehead and sides which I did not see until I reached home.

    Truth be told after my first wash 😖😫😭 Definately the first and last for me!

    Bad experience here. Specifically told hair stylist to keep my side burn and just thin it. But she literally just shave it off. Hair along the sides are all uneven as well. Reason why i came here was due to rave reviews, but definitely made the wrong decision.
