    Had a cut and color appointment with Erika-san. This was my first time at the salon and I must say I am incredibly happy and impressed with my new look! Erika-san is extremely pleasant with great attention to detail, asking for my preference while also making the best recommendations. Highly recommend and would return for sure!

    Had a very comfortable experience here doing a root retouch. Located behind 111 Somerset, the salon is spacious with a clean minimalist interior and chill lo-fi music playing. Momo san was very professional, courteous and gentle handling my hair. The hairwash was on the second floor and my head felt a lot lighter after the wash! Blow dry was self service and it was fun to try out their styling tools and products. Would recommend Devonshire’s services and would certainly come back again!

    Did voyage treatment with Erika and she consulted me with the hair colour as I coloured my hair black before but she still managed to get my hair to the colour I wanted and with the treatment it was soft as well! Hair cut was great as well 🙂

    I asked for a basic retouch. I was looking for a quick and cheap place and asked for Fast Touch Up. (You have to dry it yourself after coloring and shampooing) It was also fun to be able to try out the treatments that I was interested in. Even with my long hair, I was able to finish it in about an hour. The price is reasonable and I am very satisfied with the finished product. I would like to continue to visit regularly. Thank you very much☺️

    So I came across this salon because someone recommended it on a sg reddit thread and I def wasn’t disappointed at all.

    To start off, the ambience/aesthetic of the place was super おしゃれ & calming/pretty. I also very much appreciated that when I called in to book my appointment, they immediately stated the prices of what I wanted to book. I think this is the first time a salon has ever been this upfront with me.

    I had a hair trim + the voyage treatment and my stylist was Momo. She was very sweet and did a good job of both. It was only a simple trim + layering, but I was still very pleased with the outcome. One of those things where the cut seems minimal but it still made me look so much better than before chef kiss. I also generally prefer the way JP salons cut fringes. I don’t know how to explain it but I like the anime style fringe where it’s swept to the side and around my brows-length but still a little wispy/long?? And with two strands framing the side of my face. It’s very hard to find sg salons that understand this look and my hair always gets cut too short. Same for the trim. It really just is a trim here and they kept my hair length, whereas most salons will end up chopping way too much.

    Finally, this is also a JP salon thing, when I was getting my hair washed, they placed a privacy towel over my eyes and even a blanket over my body for modesty/warmth. Really appreciate this too because sis is an introvert and I don’t wanna make eye contact and I like having the light blocked while getting my hair washed ahaha

    Also, plus points for no annoying hard selling/packages, which is a huge pet peeve of mine

    OH the treatment also left my hair feeling super swishy and soft

    Anyway TLDR; impressed by this salon and will def make a return visit

    I asked for color retouching. First of all, the atmosphere of the restaurant is spacious and relaxing. The color was done very well and the shampoo felt great! I had to dry my hair myself, but they also showed me the types of oils to use, so I was able to have a comfortable stay from beginning to end! I’ll come back later! Thank you very much♡

    My friend recommended this place. I had a nice haircut by Momo. I also love the fact they have short-hair discount, and I can check the available slots and book online. I finally found my go-to salon in Singapore.

    I stumbled upon this hair salon after getting lost in a Japanese beauty salon.
    The treatment is thorough, and he will tell you everything you need to know when you consult with him.
    I was impressed when it turned out exactly as I expected!
    I rely on you a lot!

    Stylist: They will take care of you and think about your cut and color.
    She also tells me about styling products and tells me where to buy them, which is helpful.

    MOMO was in charge of the cut, color, and treatment. As expected from a Japanese salon, the treatment was thorough and safe, and the result was exactly as I imagined! Thank you for letting me make minor adjustments to the final cut.
