Visited Bioskin Tampines branch in September for milia seeds removal. I paid $38 for trial, didn’t realise it was for only 3 seeds removal. Then I went on to paid more than $8k in the end for 100 seeds removal at $80 per seed as the consultant used the tactic to make sure I believed my face was filled with milia seeds and neck filled with skin tags. I have been I overcharged by a lot, the so called experienced beautician didn’t actually do a good job. it was not a local a beautician too.

After reading the reviews here, I would like to add on to the 1-star review. Having been a customer of Bioskin for more than 20 years. From Jurong east , to Raffles PLace and now Centrepoint. During today’s session, therapist and consultant did a scan a found a bug on the face. A quick glimpse of it (appears orange x-ray like on the screen). I was taken shocked to see something like this on the face and Consultant Liddy had immediately offered a treatment to kill off the bug. The original cost was exorbitant for ONE session (a near 2k). After seeing that i was reluctant, she made a final reduction to a 3 digit figure. Did not explained much about the treatment, nothing very different from my usual treatments. In fact I couldnt even find the treatment type above). After the treatment, the bug was of course gone, leaving redness all over the cheek area which she then later claimed they were eggs by the bug and advised i should purchase the package of 10 sessions to get rid of it, which I of course had rejected it. I had by the way, immediately went to my family doctor for to get it checked. My questions: 1. What made her so sure that ONE bug was on the face and NOT on the device itself? 2. How is it that she could just offer a treatment with just ONE bug. Note that I DO NOT have any itch or signs on the face that the bug was biting my face. While I blamed on my own stupidity for believing her then and there, I am disappointed that many a times, the consultants in BIOSKIN are more concern with pushing sales than being genuinely concerned with the customers’ well-being. In ALL my years in BIOSKIN, most sessions will start off with saying “oh, your skin today is XXXXX and we have a treatment which is more suitable for it now”. Then what about my previous packages? You mean you had recommended me something which aint suitable for my skin and the next session I had to get another type of treatment? I am most disappointed by such deteriorating services exhibited by most of the black coloured uniformed personnels in BIOSKIN. Rest assured I have learnt my lesson and cannot wait to finish all my packages!

Definitely one of the best in terms of face and skin treatment in Singapore. A little pricey, but you pay for what you get. If you want the absolute best in face care, then these professionals are the ones to go to! Strongly recommend Winnie (consultant) & Lina (Therapist), who is definitely one of the best aesthetics combo you can find. 10 stars recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Visited for Korean hair colour. Manager Liddy and therapist Win served me. Good service overall. Can try.

I took their hair color promo and I wasn’t sure if the person knew how to handle hair..there was a lot of pulling and the color was on my forehead as well.usually hairdressers immediately wipe of extra color from staining but these people left it there and went to clean their stuff. And then during wash just scrub and scrub and a lot of pulling and tugging. I felt the lady was a masseuse since her head massage was excellent but then again they scrub on the hair further damaging it. Overall I was praying for the session to be over. I think their skin therapies maybe better but they definitely are not hairdressers.

After reading some of the 1* reviews, I realise there are people (even old-timers) who have the same disappointing experiences as me. I believe what they shared are true also. Haizz.

For me, I have been a customer for over 20 years. The therapists’ services in general are mostly good but they always try to ask me to add on something or ask to try some “latest or more suitable” treatment (which “trial” price is also not cheap) during the treatments which can be very annoying at times especially some can drag on and on.

Meeting the Sales consultants to sign the treatment session(s) used for the day can be a nightmare as some are very pushy / hard selling to ask you to sign more/new packages. The prices of the packages – facial and body (not sure for hair as didn’t sign up) had gone ridiculously high in recent years. The Sales consultants claim their salon is like “Hermes or Chanel” and the products used are of “premium”, but they failed to check and compare other high-end spa or aesthetics salons (also using premium products and with more instant results) and are not charging this kind of ridiculous prices even with the recent years inflation. They force existing customers like me with old packages (as machines are no longer available) to “upgrade” packages to salvage the old balance but the upgrade package they quote is so much more than if I sign a new package. Meaning the trade-in balance amount I have is deemed worthless. They seriously need to review their pricing (new and upgrade/trade-in), or else more and more long-time customers like me start going to other comparable “Chanel” salons (and better service) with a reasonable price point.

I can only say I am utterly disappointed.

As a reference for all on average:
Facial (Retail price) $900 and more
Facial (Trial price) $400/$500 and more
Facial (maybe 10 sessions) $600/$700 and more
Facial (maybe =>20 sessions) close to $500 and more
Wellness massage: an hour more than $200

Still not all who can afford are willing to pay such prices…
Maybe only those who buy Hermes every other months think this price is normal and acceptable.

Gonna add to the 1-star rating. I have the same bad experience with BioSkin at Centrepoint outlet. Foolish of me to sign up for the trial for mole/milia seed promo, thinking that it’ll remove my moles just from 1 session. Therapist and consultant will count your moles and measure. Turns out that many of mine were more than 1mm which I had to top up extra. But what’s worst is that the consultant will ask u to sign up for follow up sessions and it’s ridiculously expensive. I was foolish to sign up for half of the sessions and have regretted my decision. It’s the worst decision I’ve ever made honestly so I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND anyone to BioSkin. The consultant will anyhow press some numbers on the calculator and upsell you like crazy. Worst than China tourist scams man. Can’t believe this kind of tactic still happens in SG.

They blocked honest feedback that against them …
Even in their social media page …

They’re like the cool kids who shrug off feedback. PSA: Navigate their promos cautiously, especially the T&C dance. Managers can flip the script, blame-shifting like they’re in a spy thriller. It’s a masterpiece in self-preservation, complete with a “no refund” cliff and the offer to swap your promo for salon souvenirs, all thanks to your pre-payment prowess.

This service letdown takes the trophy, outclassing even those assertive salons that admit, “Oops, our bad.” I’ve attached a T&C snippet for your CSI skills – is it an exclusive newbie embrace? The final act: their updated T&C. Does that validate my claim that the initial T&C was, indeed, misleading?

Guess what? I turned detective and took it to court. Bioskin pulled a T&C glow-up post-complaint. No sorry, just a sneaky edit. Bravo, Bioskin, for acing the art of customer bamboozlement.

I gave them a one-star rating, as Google doesn’t allow for a zero-star option, but this 1 star is solely for their beautician, despite my not having visited for over 12 months.

In general, they seem indifferent to customer feedback.

To all It’s important to be cautious about their promotions, especially the T&C. Even when it’s clear that the mistake lies on their end, some managers handle these situations poorly, shifting blame to the customer for misinterpretation. It’s understandable that most companies prioritise self-protection over customer satisfaction, but their misleading T&C seem deceptive, resembling a trap. As they will mentioned about no refund policy and suggesting that you either transfer the promotion or exchange it for their products, given that you’ve already made an advance payment.

To sum up, this has been my most disappointing service experience, even worse than the pushy beauty salons that, at the very least, admit their mistakes when they occur.

For your reference, I’ve attached a section from the T&C. Feel free to judge for yourself if it exclusively applies to new customers.

Unfortunately, I can’t upload the image. You can visit Google reviews to see it. Interestingly, they chose to respond via email instead of addressing the issue directly on Google reviews.

I have totally lost all patience despite trying to get clarity for the last 4 months on Bioskin’s terms and conditions since my last google review in Feb 2023..

Bioskin claimed that they did not inform me in advance that my packages (with about 40 sessions) were discontinued because i was an ‘in-active” client.

So what does “active” actually mean?
I have never come across a company that is not able to define their terms clearly despite being asked 5x:
My simple question: what does “Active” mean?
Does active mean at least once a month? Once a quarter? Once bi annual?

    Bioskin’s reply:
“As machine discontinued we are cannot to control.
Due to machine discontinued and oso supplier stop provide us maintamance for the machine.

We has been keep following up all the in-active customer in system, but customer responding oso out of our control hope u can understand, just like Apple oso is stop providing cable and headphone, as technology is keep updating.”

As what we previously explain, “Active” means frequently visiting.

Bioskin says that my packages were “discontinued” and “expired” although their sales persons always say ‘no expiry’ when they are selling it to you. To salvage the packages (worth $6k) that i had previously paid upfront, i had no choice but to top up another $4k! All in $10k for 20 sessions. Isn’t that incredulous??
To top it all, there is no transparency on their t&c until the e-invoice is emailed. Sadly, after being a client for 9 years, from my recent horrific experience, Bioskin is truly a company that lacks integrity and professionalism as shown in how they respond to complaints and simple clarification. I hope no one needs to go through this nightmare that i went through.

This is scam shop. Keep using hard selling skills to ask you to purchase the package. How can we, every month purchase package from you. The package is not cheap. Last year I already spend 50k on your package. CTP package is more expensive the other outlet. My friends at other outlet, the package and trial price are not so expensive. Bioskin don’t really solve your consultants attitude towards customers. I understand that you need sales, but not to the extend that you ask customers to buy package evey month, don’t care about how many package we already have. When say NO, consultants will show a black face you and make sure you cannot get appointment the next few months. That is horrible.

Scam!!!! Do never sign up for any packages. Hard selling they are very pushy and they lie to your face.
This place should be closed down. Big time scam place should be investigated

Had a very bad experience. Their hard selling is more like intruding into your personal life, asking your financial info etc. Never do any trials with them cos you will be “coerced” to purchase purchase purchase until u realised much later they squeeze you dry in thousands of dollars. Your hard earned money is not worth. There are similar, and even better treatments, even done by qualified and certified beauticians/aestheticians out there that’s almost 10x cheaper. Worst, when bring up matter to mgmt, all they do is push back the issue to the outlet mgr. They have no intention to solve the issue at all.

I jus send a review earlier on . Well I received a watsapp by Bioskin that they have seen the msg
Well folks after seeing the watsapp that I received any thoughts ? Now I feel the problem lies with the consultant more than the company itself !!! As below
We saw the google reviews , thanks for your feedback , the ‘small room’ that you mentioned we called consultation room, is for skin check and discussion and check treatement in system use .

The treatment was average. However the cost is much higher than average mole removal. They over promised during their sales, they promised it is lower than doctor pricing, which is around $2000, and they matched the price. However after some research i notice it only cost around $300 for mole removal at doctor.

Secondly, they told me that if do not wan to continue with mole removal i can change my $2000 package to other services. After using 1/2 time of my package. They told me that the change of other service is no longer available.

Thirdly, their service dramatically drop after i sign up their package. Before my package, they will send me reminder and do post treatment follow up. After i sign my package, they will forget to book my appointment. There is once where they planned to charge me $200 for forgetting my schedule appointment despite their failure to send me reminder 1/2 days before (something they promised)

Lastly, they are extremely sales-orientated. I have attended 3 out of my 10 session, and every session will end with at least 2/3 staff promoting their new/upgrade product. and that is the time where they suddenly become concern about my post treatment.

All in all, they have bad service and overprice service. do not get trick into signing package when you are with them. They will pressure you into getting their package with their false promises. They are one of the worst salon which i signed package with. I am writing to their higher management to get my refund, and hope no one need to go through what i went through

I had a wonderful facial experience at Bioskin Centrepoint on 5th March 2021. The ambiance of the salon as always is cozy and very clean. Their beauty therapist, Ms Teh Poh Lee attended to me and I must commend her for her warm attitude and excellent facial skills which I can’t say enough of how much I enjoyed a relaxing time at the salon. It was so good that I slumbered during the facial and felt refreshed after the treatment! 🙂
