    First time getting my hair done here with Carmen, she was patient in explaining my hair type and styling my hair accordingly.

    The price is reasonable as well, would definitely get my hair done with Carmen again

    Nice salon and great service! I did wash and blow dry with hairstylist Dana. She was super friendly and did amazing job with my hair. I received so many compliments on my hair that day. Will be coming back for sure!

    Master Dana took care of my hair, she was super sweet and nice ! I had the best hair wash with a massage in a while now, they used a Japanese method to wash your hair. She also did a blowout, I loved the results so much !! I really recommend to visit the salon.

    Carmen did an amazing job with my hair – from shaping jt and adding layers to the ash brown X ash blue hair color I requested for, she nailed it down! I’ll definitely return for her services 🙂 Prices are also very reasonable for the services done in my opinion!

    PS: this is honestly the first time any stylist has managed to produce the style and color I wanted – see: I once got declined for a bleach job by a well known JP salon in SG so I always felt anxious going to a salon after that :’)

    Went there to do my wash and blow. Had impressive service by Dana! Tried special type of washing type. It was Marbb, where it helps to wash thoroughly and at the same time it massages the scalp. Enjoyed a lot! Highly recommend!

    I went to the salon for a Japanese hair care treatment and really enjoyed it.

    I especially liked how well they treated the scalp—the massage with professional products felt refreshing and relaxing. After the treatment, my hair became softer, stronger, and very smooth, but not heavy.

    Thank you Dana for your attentiveness and professional approach! The procedure is comfortable, the result is noticeable – definitely worth trying.

    i visited this salon twice – once for a wolf-butterfly cut and the second for a fringe cut. damm where to begin. firstly, my hairstylist carmen was rlly rlly professional. she analysed my face shape and recommended a haircut for me based on it. she was also rlly caring and empathetic esp when i told her abt my scalp and hair loss problem. tbh i always had anxiety gg to hairdresser bc of it but she was not only v professional but also v caring abt it. will definitely recommend carmen if you’re dropping by!!! 😋😋😋

    Hi,

    Yesterday, I had a wash & blow session with hairstylist Dana, and I highly recommend her! From the moment I stepped in, the salon’s atmosphere pleasantly surprised me – stylish space, cozy ambiance, a top location, and a beautiful view from the window.

    One of the highlights of the experience was the super relaxing 30-minute head massage – it was so good that I almost fell asleep (didn’t expect it to be this good).🤤 Dana is incredibly attentive, gentle, and professional. My hair looks shiny after the blowout, and my head feels so light.

    Thank you for the experience, I’ll definitely come back! ☺️

    I had an amazing experience with Carmen when she did a digital perm for my hair. She was professional, attentive, and made sure the entire process was smooth and comfortable. Carmen checked on the heat from the machine regularly to ensure it wasn’t too hot and even paid attention to the water temperature while washing my hair, which I truly appreciated. Her attention to detail and care made the whole experience relaxing, and the results are fantastic! I love my new curls and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and thoughtful stylist.

    Severe miscommunication

    Went in, showed them a picture of exactly what I wanted (something I had done at the Blow + Bar a few months prior, which was just my natural hair color + some blonde highlights). The stylist agreed, appeared to understand what I wanted, and even pointed to a few shades that I wanted.

    Somehow he instead dyed my entire hair black. I even asked halfway into the dye why he had dyed my whole head instead of going in with foils, but he did not seem to understand what I was saying at all. I did not catch his name, but he was one of the Japanese hair stylists and his English was quite broken. He did not speak Chinese or Malay, so I had no hope of talking to him in any other language.

    I went home very upset and I later called them up and came in the same afternoon. They said over the phone that they would try to correct the mistake but would not commit to giving me a refund for the unwanted dye job.

    The next hairdresser, Carmen, was a lot nicer and helped me do some highlights. They look OK but were a lot chunkier than the ones I got done at the Blow+Bar. Even though I was visibly upset (and in tears!), the first hairstylist’s friend kept coming up to me during my appointment to question me on the initial consultation. He was clearly trying to make it seem that it was my fault for not being clearer. I found that to be the most upsetting part of this experience, that he would not leave me alone even though I asked him to and I was clearly upset.

    They did not refund the cost of the original hair dye, so I lost $120 on something I did not want.

    The Japanese hair stylists also charge more than the Singaporean ones, which seems quite unfair. I’m not sure why they do this. I think it is reasonable (and standard practise) to charge more for a senior stylist, but charging based on background is quite problematic.

    In conclusion, I would say to be wary of the Japanese hair stylists if you cannot speak Japanese. I heard other customers speaking Japanese in the hair salon and I have no doubt that it must be very nice to be able to speak your own language at the hairdressers! But if you cannot converse with them then these kind of mistakes will inevitably happen.

    After the appointment, Carmen found me on Facebook DMed me to ask if I was OK. Maybe she was being genuine, but I suspect she was trying to make sure I didn’t post a negative review.

    I was taken care rlly well by the staff by washing and also cutting my hair!! the atmosphere was also really welcoming and nice and I will definitely be coming back here again for future hair cuts or to dye my hair:)) also the hair cut turned out rlly well thank u so much!! plus this would def be the best haircut that turned out rlly well for me omggg i love it thanks issey ur rlly cool!

    My friend recommends me this Japanese salon. Carmen is my barber. She is very friendly and talktive. She gave my hair a style which i would never expect in other fast-cut shops. She also told me how to keep the style after washing my hair. Overall, it was a nice experience.

    I’m very impressed with the perm Carmen did for me. Showed her some photos of my inspiration and she was able to deliver exactly what I wanted. My hair feels light, bouncy and ready for CNY.
    Love the vibe of the salon too as it is spacious and bright. I felt so relaxed during my session and left with more confidence and energy with my new look.
    Definitely recommend to look for Carmen as she is experienced and skilled 👍👍

    Requested style: I wanted a soft wavy perm that looks airy and adds volume near the scalp. Showed Carmen some pictures for reference and she was able to advise what would be most suitable for my hair type and face. Very very happy with how it turned out !

    I have visited Colors salon on 17 Jan and Ritsuki did premium hair straightening and color for me. He has patiently explained the step by step procedure and he’s really friendly!     Issey is a friendly and professional hairstylist with years of experience. He gives me options for me to decide during consultation. He even plans out my hair growth journey for me, and gave me styling tips. He also reassures and tells me why he is cutting this way, throughout the process. I felt so at ease and comfortable. Definitely worthed the visit, 100% will come again
