    I went to enquire for a simple service at Myeongdong @ Oasis. Because I had an event to go too I simply wanted to wash/blowdry and do some curls. I enquired and the staff called on to another lady to discuss the price together. That lady didn’t even look at my face, but she seemed unhappy and spoke in Chinese to the other staff on the pricing for my hair. At that point, I wanted to just walk away because there were no warmth/greetings from them, I felt awkward and very uncomfortable because it felt like as though they were gossiping on how long my hair was, and that lady eventually just walked away. The staff then quoted me a high and very unreasonable price, blaming on my hair length. I turned it down, and I went up to the 4th floor to the other saloon, where to my surprise, the staffs at the 4th floor saloon were incredibly nice and kind (although they don’t speak English, they went out of their way to google translate to speak to me), and they charged me more than HALF OF THE PRICE (less than $50). I’ve heard a lot of good things about Myeongdong, but my first encounter with them just to enquire was horrible and reflected lots of arrogance from the staffs. Rather go to the 4th floor saloon.

    I have been a regular at Myeongdong Hair studio for the past 5 years, and have always been super happy with Angela’s service and hair cutting. They have a consistent quality service as well. Pricing is okay for men. Recommended.

    Cannot feel any difference and the texture was more of frizzy hair than curls. Very unpleasant experience & disappointing.

    Second time having my hair cut, coloured and treated by Joe and I must say he is so professional and great he nails it every time without me having to say too much. I even got a gift from them becos #birthdaybenefits. Thanks for making my haircut experience so comfortable!

    Had a terrible haircut experience with ANDERS. He probably cant cut properly and cant follow instructions.
    The haircut by him was uneven, i did highlight to him to check and he claimed that it was just a few strands of hair poking out. He trimmed and i left the salon without double check. But no, it was still uneven after i checked again.
    The side fringe i told him not to be too short, need to be able to tuck behind my ears, but he went ahead n cut it short above my ear length.
    His attitude was quite unfriendly when he know i wont sign any package and dont bother to check his work properly before letting the customer go.
    They allowed me to go back to get it trimmed. It is even now but it is not nice and my side fringe always poking my nose.
    Think thrice before u get Anders to cut your hair.

    I did scalp treatment, it was okay, but then didn’t properly blow after, cut also like okok only, he was doing work half past six….i attended by a male hair stylist, always has been going Myeongdong but the myeongdong at oasis did not meet my expectations and I was so disappointed.
    Went to the salon on 16/7 at 1.30pm.

    I am writing to specially compliment Sky, the hairstylist of Myeongdong Hair Studio at Oasis Terrace branch. He has cut & colour my hair numerous times and I have always received many compliments on my new haircut from friends, colleagues and family. That is the main reason that I have always revisit the salon because of him. Sky has always been very patient with my fussy requirements and readily gave advice on whether the hairstyle is suitable for my face shape or my hair texture; what type of hairstyle is suitable for people like me who just want a hairstyle that is easy to manage in the mad rush morning hours. Thank you Sky for the good services.
