    Lovely space, easy to book an appointment, and Nik was so great – he listened carefully to what I asked for and walked me through. His ideas before proceeding. I don’t have the easiest hair to work with, so this was much appreciated! Will happily return when I need my next haircut.

    I decided to have a haircut at Walking on Sunshine after seeing pictures and good reviews all over the web. It’s an extremely disappointing visit. The store looks cute with lots of green. But the whole haircut experience was very rushed and not enjoyable. The outcome was close to a disaster and I look ten years older after the haircut. Definitely not worth the price. I heard I would be offered coffee and did order one. But I needed to ask where my coffee was. I was struggling to understand what the hairstylist was trying to tell me or ask me to do. The bio of the stylist online was also deceiving. I am visiting from US and hoping to get a haircut by someone who had good hairstyling experience in Asia but ended up with a hairstylist who were trained and worked in US. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!

    It was my 1st visit, recommended by my son. Was booked for Head Spa with gorgeous Nicole and her team. Went in hard like a rock, came out soft and mushy like jelly. Didn’t want to move. The hardest muscle knot bowed down and surrendered, conquered by the little dainty fingers. I suspect I might snore tonite. Beautiful place, delicious drink and snack, gorgeous ladies, and dainty fingers that could crush rocks. Can’t beat that. Come for the head spa y’all

    Booked a session of Korean Perm Bundle for my niece and very happy with the experience! My niece told me her stylist was very patient in analysing her lifestyle & wants before advicing on the most suitable perm. Although she didn’t get what she’d initially wanted, the perm & cut turned out so beautiful that she’s very happy. All the staff we met were very friendly and I love that there was absolutely no pressure to sign packages or pushing of products! 👍 For comfort, we had lunch at Clayful Cafe right next door; again very good service, tasty food & drinks! Highly recommended 🙌

    Did a Korean Magic Setting Perm with Ivy. She was very friendly and patiently listened to my needs to advise me accordingly to achieve what I want. End result of the perm was very nice and fuss free.

    Environment wise was pretty and what I liked was the privacy that comes with the individual columns.

    Overall great experience and will recommend 🙂

    1st time come to Walking on Sunshines. Another reason is to support my hair stylist Catherine Ong. She really an awesome stylist, friendly, helpful and caring. This is why I follow her for one place to another. 😊
    The Salon have very good service. They serve free drink and pastry to customer. They also provide nails service and have a cafe too. Price also reasonable. Will continue support 💪
    After 4 years, just want to add in some remark, service can be better and stylist should do more than the assistant as customer specially request your service.

    Very friendly and welcoming staff. Initially booked via whatsapp before I flew to Singapore from Australia, the process was very easy and staff was very informative and helpful. Had my haircut, root perm and treatment done by Shinji and his team, it was such a positive experience. Shinji is very kind and experienced, brought my hair back to life! Overall, every single staff was very professional, friendly and welcoming. Worth every penny, service was very high quality. Definitely will be coming back again.

    I absolutely loved this place! It was my first time visiting Singapore, and I found it to be incredible. The hair treatment prices were very reasonable, and the staff’s care for clients was truly welcoming. The head massage during the hair wash was heavenly. They completed everything in just half an hour, and the final results were fantastic

    I had one of the best experience with hair stylist CREME. She gave very practical advices to what treatment is best for my hair condition and what hair colour suits me. Had nice/helpful conversations with her throughout the 3.5 hours. Would come for her again!

    This was my first time visiting this hair salon for a hair cut. I was assigned to a stylist Vinx and she was kind and friendly. The result was amazing and according to my preferences. The complementary coffee was very nice too. Will definitely come back again! Thank you Vinx!

    I just had an amazing experience with a $269 bundle! I got a haircut, a luxurious hair treatment (which felt like a mini spa—I even napped haha), and a fresh color.
    The stylist Jamie was super friendly, and I enjoyed a delicious complimentary cappuccino while I waited.
    I left feeling like a new person and couldn’t be happier with the results.

    Asked for a cherry cola hair colour and the colour they chose for me was exactly what I expected. Anita was the lovely hairstylist attending to me, she helped to fix a bad haircut I had previously. Very happy with this experience in general. Will come back again

    I’m a returning customer as I’ve had several great experiences here in Walking On Sunshine. However, I’m sad to say that the quality of the haircut this time was way below my expectations.

    I had a haircut with one of the stylists ($60), expecting at least a decent haircut, nothing too much. I showed them the haircut inspiration which was a video of my hair where I had a haircut with a Senior Director ($120) previously. Unfortunately, I had trusted them a bit too much as they seemed very confident in their skills leading to a disastrous haircut.

    They did offer me several solutions, however I have told them I’m unable and busy on the days they want me to come. I believe this place does not offer refunds as well. I’d say the customer service is good though, but the haircuts are underwhelming for the price.

    Seen in the picture is UNEVEN haircutting and my hair being cut way too short. To solve this problem, the stylist had the audacity to try and style it to hide the fact that the haircut was a mess. I am very upset as it took me a while to grow out this hair hoping to get a similar result as my previous haircut (you can see in my profile picture).

    It’s safe to say that I definitely will not be coming back any longer, and those considering to get a haircut here you might want to take a look at the senior directors instead as anything under that does not guarantee a good haircut.

    My family and I had the best experience at Walking On Sunshine!

    Our hair stylist was Senior Director Luna, and I love how genuine she is. She’s polite (even to her colleague who was assisting her), she does not hard sell, she puts in 100% effort, and she provides the best advice.

    Our first experience with Luna was in September. Even though it was only a fringe cut for a child, she still put in a lot of effort – she helped to fix my daughter’s fringe (I cut my daughter’s fringe previously lol).

    Our second experience with her was in October. My husband wanted to go for a haircut and perm, but Luna mentioned that his hair was too short for a nice perm. So she did a haircut for him (which was two thumbs up) and encouraged him to grow his hair longer before going back for a perm.

    I did a haircut and it was perfect. She explained to me why she cut my hair the way she did, and taught me how to blow dry my hair so my natural curls will look nicer.

    Thank you Luna – we will definitely be back! 😉

    Went to Walking on Sunshine to try their head spa and hair cut. Had such a pleasant experience and definitely want to go back! The True Care Head Spa by Nim was worth every penny. She showed me how my scalp looked before and after the treatment so I was able to see the improvement. It’s recommended for those with dry scalp and dandruff. The massage that came with the package was amazing too!! I felt so refreshed and rejuvenated after. I also had my hair trimmed by Nicole who was friendly and efficient. Overall, such a good experience and I can’t wait to go back.

    Nim’s fingers were skillful to give me an invigorating head, neck and shoulder massage, releasing the accumulated knots. Left the salon feeling refreshed, lighter. Highly recommended their head spa treatment.

    Terrible haircut service by Andy. Have my own stylist but was keen to try out WOS salon, thinking that they specialise on KOREAN haircut and am positive that I can have a nice relaxing experience here.

    I was assigned a charming stylist, Andy. However, upon hearing my desired KOREAN style cut, he became disinterested and hesitant. Yet, he still brought me in for a hair wash which was really bad! He washed my hair in a rough, hasty manner and when I requested him to ‘scratch more’, never would I expect he said “YOU CAN SCRATCH YOURSELF’. It is my first time encountering such turnoff response. Salons I have been to offered good thorough wash along with massage; a no-brainer.

    Thereafter, Andy left me hanging there on my seat with wet hair and abruptly DISAPPEARS without informing me. Andy and the receptionist was having some good time conversing at the back and didn’t bother to attend to me. I got up to the counter with wet hair to ask on what is going on. The receptionist said that he was thinking what he can do (well, obviously Andy didn’t know what to do with my hair). It is surprising that they needed so much time to propose something (and nothing). The receptionist either plain clueless or no sense of urgency. Well, I proposed to switch stylist anyway. Andy then, ‘escapes’ to attend to his other customers without the least interaction with me. Such avoidance!

    That was mean and unprofessional. He could have communicate right from the start and shown some basic courtesy. Totally unacceptable that there are such big gaps. The whole team looks rather listless, unwelcoming and one can feel bad vibes upon entering. Inclusions/exclusions were unclear and price is exorbitant. In the end, the chosen alternative director’s cut worked fine but paid much higher price considering I can get a nice cut and decent price elsewhere with a stylist just the same rank as Andy.

    The salon, very fancy with all the decor of course. You can see the staffs are more laid back and the experience was really bad (also depends who is your stylist). For first-timers, it is better to discuss and align expectations before sitting down and get your hair wash, esp. with the ‘runaway’ Andy.

    Overall, unexpected and unusual encounter. If not for the raving reviews and great cafe experience, wouldn’t have tried the salon. Only good decor, but terrible service👎
