    Walked in at 3:50 PM for a haircut and loose perm for my 17-year-old son, and walked out a little after 6 PM feeling absolutely satisfied. The place was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The hairstylist was friendly, detailed, and professional throughout the process. My son loved his new look and couldn’t stop saying how amazing the result was. The price was reasonable too! I forgot the stylist’s name, but you’ll recognize her from the photo. They truly deserve 5 stars—highly recommend!

    Got myself a haircut and perm today. Service from the hairdresser (anthony) was great. Was coughing a little and he offered to give me some biscuits and refilled my warm water. Was detail-oriented on my curtain bangs and haircut. Recommended👍🏻

    I’ve been a customer of kimage for >20 years, visiting almost all branches and didn’t really have a go-to stylist and fixed branch. I’ve decided to go to Northpoint again and read up on the reviews, and found hairstylist Anthony having superb reviews and very tempted to experience it myself. Indeed, it turned out to be a super pleasant experience and I felt that I have to give credit and recognition to him! Anthony is very attentive and listens to my requests. He is very knowledgeable (shared hair advice) and explains to me on why he is doing certain steps. As he has full appointments for the day, he pre-empted me he needs to step away at certain moments, explained which steps would be done by his colleague and periodically checking back to ensure I’m alright and what to expect next. A very respectful and humble gentlemen, very comfortable to chat with too! Highly recommended and two thumbs up for Anthony!!!

    Terrible haircut by junior stylist Yun Han. My hair ended up way too short and extremely uneven. I used to trust the standards of junior stylists at Kimage, but he doesn’t seem to be well-trained or ready to cut for customers. I can easily get a much better haircut at QB house or Kcuts for cheaper. Also, customer care during the process is important. My face ended up with so much hair after the whole thing. Not worth it.

    First time patronising here. Great service by Yuan Xin (Junior Stylist) . She was very meticulous and understood my needs well. The massage was good and she often checked with me if it’s okay or needs further adjustments. Happy with the end result 🙂

    i got a messed up haircut from jianyu…firstly asked for a perm but he mistook it as just a haircut and proceeds to chop off most of my hair…must be due to slight language barrier as my mandarin isnt the best but either ways i rather go bald now….wouldve given a negative rating if i could…

    I had a great experience at the Kimage outlet in Northpoint with senior hairstylist Zhen Hao. For $45, which included a wash and cut, the service was well worth it. Zhen Hao was patient, straightforward, and listened to my request for the type of haircut I wanted, offering helpful advice and feedback throughout. I appreciated how quick yet precise he was in cutting my hair.

    He also took the time to suggest ways to style and care for my hair before I left, which I found very helpful. Overall, I left feeling satisfied with both the haircut and the experience.

    Online appt booking was very user friendly. Salon is spacious and clean. I was attended to by Ms Yuan Xin and i am very happy with her service. She is friendly and meticulous and yet gentle in her work. The colour and cut turned out satisfactory and will definitely return to salon and Yuan Xin. Thumbs up !

    Requested for the following image down below with junior stylist Jian Yu, i’ve told him multiple times that he can ask his senior in the salon as they have cut my hair previously but was not able to book them due to their tight schedule and i have a wedding to attend on the night itself.

    Mentioned multiple times that there is a slope up to create the effect i want when i style and he straight away use the machine and went FLAT DOWN INSTEAD… knn… my heart also went flat line.. he still have the cheek to ask if he did well and it is what i wanted? Obviously i’m unhappy with it but what to do? Shout in the shop and demand compensation? Lol… side also cut unevenly… told him i wanted a sharp sideburn and he trimmed it so flat i might as well go and spend $10 on those barber shop instead of coming to hair salon since he can’t even achieve the basic instructions i have provided.

    First and last time with Junior Stylist Jian Yu.
    And i dont understand how they are still keeping him around the salon despite the high amount of negative reviews for the same person.

    If it’s one or 2 client saying it, maybe it’s the client issue, but you come and read the review, most of it consist his name.. lol

    I’ve cut my hair with Yuan Xin (junior stylist) many times and she always does a great and consistent job. Even though I only go in once every 2 months, she remembers what I want. Also generally a friendly and nice person!

    Did a men’s hair cut and perm on 13/09 with stylist Jian Yu. Was very pleased with the price and result. He was very patient and went through in detail on how I should style to suit me. Overall, highly recommend him 👍

    The revamped salon is refreshing to the eyes!
    Just a tip tip, schedule/ book appointment via website, it is always a better option especially on weekends.
    Great group of stylists.
    I personally would recommend Mr. Anthony Lim (senior stylist) as he is knowledgeable about different hairstyles, hair care, hair products that is best for your hair type.
    Anthony really knows what he is doing and would even suggest what is best for you.
    This is my go to Salon since 2015 and didn’t change since then.

    recently did the junior stylist haircut with Jian Yu and i was quite happy with the experience. he was detailed in asking what i wanted and explaining my current hair condition to see if i can do the haircut i wanted. I was pleasantly surprised as usually my hair can be quite challenging to do layers but he managed to cut nice layered hair. He would also explain what he was doing before he cut the hair and would also give tips on everyday hair styling. Overall, i really liked my haircut and the experience with him !

    Horrible experience. If you wanna choose a junior stylist, don’t choose Jian Yu. He treated my hair really roughly and was pulling really hard at it. When I pointed it out he argued that I have split ends and it will hurt. Yeah bro I know maybe just don’t forcefully tug at it, just hold abit and gently comb it out?

    I”m usually picky & cautious with my hairstylist but Anthony has really made me feel comfortable here 🙂 He gives honest advice about what will work for your hair (taking in hair texture, your lifestyle habits, maintenance, etc) and puts in extra care in teaching me how to maintain & style my hair with the right products afterwards. Great experience!

    I dont usually give bad review but this is the worst hair cut experience ever.

    I requested to trim my hair and junior hair stylist ( Yuan Xin ) basically cut my hair in one straight line. She didn’t even bother to layer/even out the hair. It resulted in my hair looking very choppy, even in a ponytail!

    I really regret paying $25 for this kind of quality..I will be better off having a haircut from my neighbourhood salon instead 😭

    first time cutting hair in sg since i’ve alws been cutting in msia, very good experience with Anthony, will definitely come back again. no hard selling of products and he advises you on the best hair style according to what you want and from the professional stand point! very satisfied with the haircut!

    Requested style: asked for long layers then he asked me for a pic because my hair wasn’t suitable for long layers and thank god i did! coz the hairstyle i wanted wasn’t long layers and he clarified them with me and executed it well 🙂

    Did a scalp treatment and haircut with Jianyu two months ago. And I came back again yesterday! He was very genuine and honest both times.

    Not sure if other reviewers had miscommunications or language barriers. He’s been doing hair since young, so he definitely has the skills!

    Take a chance, and it’ll be okay!

    The first time which few months ago I went to dye my hair (only cover grey hair not the whole length )which including hair wash and trimming my hair which costed me around $130, so yesterday I booked an appointment with the same stylist, Catol, I told her I want to dye hair to cover my grey hair, then she said $140 then I bargain with her so she said ok to $130, she did ask me whether I want to cut hair, then I told her yes, just trim my hair. When do payment she charged me $205, I was shocked, then she told me $140 only for dye hair, cutting hair is charged separately 😔

    I am a returning customer and Jianyu has cut my hair for perhaps four or five times now. I don’t deviate too much from my previous hairstyle so it’s mostly a trim for me. To keep it simple, I request for no-layering. He does this well and I’m satisfied, especially because of the slight hair/fringe modification he made for me as it helped to shape my face better. Jianyu is also thoughtful and has recommended me hair clips which I can use to enhance the appearance of my hair.

    I like the online appointment system which allows me to book a time slot conveniently. However, do expect some waits and delays because the salon can get busy. Cutting hair is an art, so sometimes it takes more time.

    Ever since meeting Anthony 4 years ago, I’ve never gone to another salon. He is the best stylist ever! He gives good advice and only advices you to buy a product if you really need it. I usually leave my hair styling to his choice and I’m always satisfied with the colors and cut at the end! Highly recommended!

    My wife visited this outlet on 29/05. She just wanted to trim the hair slightly ahead of our overseas trip and told the junior stylist how she wanted her hair to be managed. However, he insisted on cutting the hair to his own style. In the end, her fringe and hair length is much shorter than requested and she lost the thick volume in her hair which she liked. It was an extremely upsetting experience and you can easily see multiple reviews below to know that this is not a one-off incident. We hope our feedback can be taken carefully by the management and hopefully no further customers will have to go through such a distressing experience.

    they will ask you to sign up for packages by first introducing you $1000-5000, if you decline they will get you to buy $500 “cheaper package” instead.

    Made an appointment at 1.30pm for a haircut with Joanne and they only started to wash my hair at 2pm. After the hair wash, I was asked to wait for “awhile”. Half an hour later, still nobody came. The haircut only started at 2.30pm after I went to rush them. She did such a bad job with my hair, it looks so choppy now. Extremely dissatisfied.

    My hairdresser was Jianyu and I had the most terrible haircut of my life. He did not listen to my needs and chopped off so much hair. I’m incredibly disappointed and won’t be a customer anymore.

    Junior stylist Jian Yu did a no slope cut / undercut for me despite clear instructions to cut a medium slope, resulting in a haircut that looked terrible. He insisted that he used the correct blade length, but that was not the issue at hand. Had a previous good experience with Kimage Tampines, but the experience today was really subpar. Was hoping for a nice haircut as I am about to travel for an international legal conference soon, but it is what it is. Will stick to other salon brands in the future.
