    The man masseurs was terrible.too. much pressure .informed to put less pressure still apply it.repeatedly.frequently come here for massage a few month..bad experience today .was suppose to be relax massage n revitalise but come out feel unhappy n still pain.womt be coming back anymore at goldhill plaza javaness massage.

    In summary – IRRESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT

    If not for the massauses who knows what they are doing, I wouldn’t bother to return.

    1st bad experience – infestation of bugs that leaves me itching and bite lumps all over that lasted an entire week before it finally goes away.

    And now my appointments which was scheduled more than a week before. 4hrs before the scheduled time I was told that my preferred mausseuse was asked by the boss to go to another branch. So why buy the membership if this is going to happen ever so often?

    I understand manpower crunch but professional courtesy is simply lacking here.

    I can list down more grievances but why bother. It’s just sad that this is happening to such a long running and once reputable business. It’s so obvious that reputation and service is not a primary concern.

    Would not recommend. Overpriced for the service. My massage therapist used WAY to much oil, it was not a good massage, and the table was very uncomfortable.

    Very bad experience with the masseuse. Originally booked for 2 hours but I cut short to 1 hour cos I could feel that she was not experienced and did not know what she was doing. There was so much oil but not much massage. For 1 hour, she covered only the back of 2 legs and just only started on the back. Initially I asked for harder cos it felt like just rubbing but she didn’t increase the strength. Then when I said I wanted to cut short (very nicely!) she suddenly started mauling my back and shoulder very very hard. The worst 75+ I have ever spent. Please do not go to this massage. I should have just stuck to healing touch 4p massage. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. This decision to try this place was my worst decision ever. The one star is for the reception who was very nice.

    Been there with my husband on 6 Feb 2023 at city square branch. Had a very BAD experience ever. We bought spa treatments for two. Thought it’s time to relax. We had done full body massage. Was told by massage therapist to have a bath after scrubbing. The worst experience started after went in to the shower room, the water was pretty cold. We tried adjust the water temperature by turning the tap left and right. We kept trying for an minutes but the temperature still the same COLD! We opened the door and asked for help but no one outside. We have no choice force to have a quick shower. Our body was shaking non stop at that time. Next was Jacuzzi. They still serve cold water for us. They never test properly at all. We called someone in. One lady came in and just help us tested the shower head water temperature and then left quickly but then how bout the water inside the jacuzzi? It’s still cold water. No one can help. Ended up we just used the shower head instead of the jacuzzi then we left quickly. My body was shaking non stop. Staffs did not do their job well and was not train properly. Very disappointed.

    If there is a zero star on review, I’ll opt for it. I visited the Thomson Plaza branch on 30 Dec 2022 and that will be my first and last visit. Masseuse claimed she has 4yrs experience and yet does not know how to do full body massage. Almost towards the end of the session, when I told her l don’t feel any different for my frozen shoulder, she called her senior in. I felt very disgusted and rude of her senior who blurp non stop as she massaged my shoulder and arm. Instead of relieve the tension and pain, I left the place feeling more painful whole body. Very bad experience. Please think twice before you visit this parlor. Not recommended!!

    Bad experience with the masseuse (Diana) who did the foot massage. She only applied the pressure when I woke up & left the towel on my legs after the session. I have to request for a hot towel to clean my leg etc.

    If there were zero stars, I would have given that. I took an appointment in the morning for two people for foot reflexology. They called me back to confirm the appointment. When we went there at the time of the appointment, we were let inside and made to wait there for 5-10 min only to be told that there are no available people to do the massage. This is only after I asked her when the massage will start and she called someone on the phone to list the names of the employees who did not want to do the massage. We were then told the employees don’t know how to do reflexology and if we are willing to have the massage on the massage bed instead of chair. We had to leave. The whole experience was so absurd. I am not even sure how a business like this is still open.

    Good place for best Javanese massage in singapore. Though store timing is mentioned at 10.30 am actual slots will start after 11.15 am only. Better to book the slot well in advance.

    Bad counter service from the Goldhill branch. I booked my appointment when I was there 3 weeks ago after my prenatal massage, went for my appointment today and it got canceled?!

    I received no calls or texts from them yesterday about the cancellation or even change of therapist (as mentioned by the staff the therapist I requested is in sick leave). Previously, I encountered this too, but they did phone and text me.

    I’m in my third trimester of my pregnancy and to make me walk all the way to get to know my appointment is canceled?!

    Even thought the therapist is good, but the service is totally not worth it.

    DO NOT EVER SIGN UP FOR THEIR PACKAGES! My regular therapists have gone back to Malaysia shortly after Covid outbreak and have not been able to return. I’ve been calling month after month to ask about their possible return, but they can’t advise. Last Dec, went back to try another new therapist, but she was so horrible, replaced her on the spot. The next one isn’t any good either! Since the government’s announcements for the VTL travel with Malaysia, I called again and was finally informed that they might not come back again.

    Hence, I have got no choice but to choose yet another therapist in order to finish utilising my package newly signed just before Covid!

    Instead, I was informed that my package expired and they will not extend unless I pay an extra fee which was not brought up to me all these while! Be forewarned that the establishment is not being fair to customers who sign up for prepaid packages and their refusal to extend even though I’ve said that I couldn’t get my regular therapists and the Covid lockdowns was not sufficient for the to waive the EXTRA CHARGES! Buyers beware!

    Visited the branch at Thomson Plaza for the first time, the masseuse with 6 years of skill was so lousy and inconsistent. Worst of all, she did not wash her hand before giving us head massage. Left the spa w oily hair ??‍♀️!
