    First time here with a walk-in appointment for express gel mani ($42). Renee attended to me from the get-go. She’s nice and friendly and was attentive and gentle in removing my acrylic nails. I’m someone who likes a fuss-free service and she’s exactly what I was looked for; no small talk, no hard selling. Because of this, I would definitely go back to her. Ambience is relaxing with lounge music playing softly in the background, interior is spacious with a minimalistic warehouse vibe.

    P.s. be prepared to drop another $40 for acrylic nail removal on top of other services you do. Normal gel removal cost $15 if you’ve not gotten your nails done by them, $15 w/o subsequent service, FOC if there is.

    Updated review (9 days later): quality of gel nails isn’t that great because it’s already chipping. You know from experience gel nails are supposed to be long lasting, enough to survive the harshest winters and roughest spartan races. Well, I did none of that and yet it’s still chipping and peeling off like a bad vinyl wrap job. Safe to say I shan’t be returning

    Had a really good time at Paint Shoppe this afternoon 🙂 Was served by Clare who was super friendly and great at what she does! She gave me recommendations on colours for my manicure and overall made my experience super rewarding! Am definitely coming back for a pedicure soon 🙂

    Been here my first time and service was great by Carmen. I took the Spa Gel Mani and I love it. Carmen was gentle and delicate when she handles my nail. It was nicely done. I enjoyed the whole session. Will definitely come back.

    This has now become my regular salon since Project Nails moved away. I really appreciate the calm, relaxed atmosphere, I never feel rushed and I’ve been very happy with all the services I’ve had there.

    Not great, felt rushed and slipshod. I left the place with paint marks on my fingers and white parts on my nails left unpainted. Many nail places along the same stretch so I’ll not be back and will definitely not recommend.

    Been visiting Paint Shoppe@East Coast the last few times as my usual as closed and moved. started with them since last Christmas and I simply love this place. Its simple, spacious, clean and very tidy as some nail salons can be messy. Huge range of colours and services and I particular love their Vegan collection as its less harmful and more moisturising to the nails. The ladies are thorough and do a great job with the services they provide. Love the relaxing music that plays in the background. Now that all restrictions are off it’ll be nice if they can offer some drinks like a hot tea. The price is reasonable and no hard-selling of any package thingy. Seen some ‘not so nice’ reviews but disagree! Love it here and I will be having my mani and pedi done here for a long time. Keep it up ladies and see you next week 😉

    We took our 5 yr old for her first pedicure and she was so excited! Bad choice as it was a pretty dull experience. Definitely not a kids friendly place. The lady wasn’t welcoming and it wasn’t worth the price.

    My go-to nail salon! Always happy with their work (Candy is my go-to person btw, highly recommend her).

    For context: I’m a tiny bit OCD about my nails and have tried a few other nail salons in town (for gelish manicure) and was never completely satisfied.

    Really nice relaxed local salon. Not a nail art place. They do a solid pedicure, make you feel very welcome and.the result is great.

    I would not recommend this place for classic pedicure, it felt more like an express pedicure and very rushed. For this price you get so much more at most other places.

    The foot massage and scrub were both less than 1 minute long, not an exaggeration!

    I won’t go again!

    The staff were really friendly and knowledgable. They were even happy to move my appointment to another time when I was running late. My nails look great – bonus points for choosing polish brands that are vegan and eco-friendly.
