    The team was kind enough to slot me in at last minute for classic pedicure/no color and gel manicure removal/nail trim. (Coincidentally I used to go to the power plates class upstairs.) In any case I ended up napping an hour at the nail salon… it is really comfortable there and I was really tired

    Got to know this place through my friend’s gf. I really love coming here to do my nails, I don’t frequent it often, around 3-4 times a year since 2018 but every time I visit, it’s a pleasant experience. Not only do the therapists not hard sell, they are very good in what they do. The space is also very pristine and hygenic which makes customers like us very comfortable. Location wise is a plus point too. The only thing is to remember to always book in advance as their slots run out quickly. Nonetheless, doesn’t affect my recommendation for this place. Thumbs up!

    I am rating this place 5 star! Highly recommend to book in advance, Victoria was very accommodating even though my request was so last min. It was my first visit and I must say I am very impressed. Friendly, well trained and polite staff. Location of salon is also very convenient. There is absolutely no hard sell, staff just politely explain package for your consideration on your next visit. Will visit again thanks!

    Been coming to this nail salon for years now since it was opened. The nail art is so on point and I always walk out with the prettiest nails. They prioritise hygiene and I always feel safe doing nails here. The negative is I can’t pick out what nail art to do coz every design is good ?

    A go-to spot for some pamper time when I visit Singapore. The nail techs are friendly and highly-skilled, able to do a wide variety of detailed and intricate nail designs. I got my bridal mani and pedi done here and couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

    Amazing service and nails. The staff were very welcoming and were detail oriented with their manicures/gel polish, which made my nails look perfect. My partner (male) also got a manicure which he really enjoyed.

    Despite not having an appointment, the ladies were able to squeeze me and my mum in for manicures and pedicures. The pedis were great we left feeling so much lighter. There was great attention to detail, it was very clean and hygienic and I would definitely recommend.

    My favourite salon. I’ve been coming here for a while and I leave with a perfect manicure every single time. Friendly service, nice atmosphere and their attention to detail is second to none.

    I’ve been coming here for about a year, and the work they do never disappoints. Hate to recommend because I don’t want to make it more popular than it already is, but they’re worth it.

    Excellent service, with a huge selection of colors (both gel and regular nail polish). The prices are a bit on the high side, but the quality of the service justifies them.

    What can I say, they do a good job in my opinion. Pricing is reasonable, they take good care and the classic pedicure lasts a month. However more recently I found the polish was reacting with my nails and their chemical free line smudges even if you don’t wear shoes for 2 days so I couldn’t renew my package.

    chanced upon 8Twenty8 Nails 10 months ago when my husband to be back then told me to try them out as we were preparing for our actual day shoot and because i do bite my nails! it’s been 10 months since i bit my nails thanks to Victoria and her team. clean, professional, friendly, and cozy place. top notch and quality services. i brought my mom for mani pedi and added a moisturizing serum for her legs. my mom loves it so much and after months, she said her legs still feels soft and smooth! ohhh by the way, this is the first nail salon i’ve been to, and have not bothered to look for another. do make an appointment first as their slots fill up very very quickly! they are not pushy in selling any packages nor add ons, but honestly at the price they are offering their package, you do not have to think twice.

    If you are looking for a place with good service experience, good ambience, good cleanliness and non pushy nail artists/managers, this is it.

    A few months ago, I was looking for a nail salon at the last minute to bring my btb bff and I came across this shop online. I saw the photos of the shop online and the good reviews and decided to give it a try. So I contacted the shop via Facebook messenger quite late in the evening and their response was very prompt and clear on the services available as well as the pricing. ?

    Due to my bff’s hectic and tight work schedule, she is only available for a very limited time slot on the next day after our enquiry. The time slots that we are enquiring for is not available (as expected since we were so last minute). However, Victoria, the shop owner, was very kind, clear and accommodating to our last minute request and managed to squeeze us in for the next day. ?

    After our session, Victoria also told us that we could return for a free gel soak off but we will just need to book a slot in advance. Back then, I didn’t think I would return for the soak off because typical skeptical mindset would be, when you return for soak off, you would be “convinced” to do a whole new round of mani and pedi (which will be an endless cycle). To be honest, the different nail salon that I visited so far did not really offer free soak off. Either it is chargeable at $10-$20 or it will be free if you do a new round of mani/pedi with them.

    After 1-2 months, I decided to try my luck and message them to try to book a slot for same day soak off. To my surprise, their response is superbly fast and the booking process was equally smooth. ? Not just that, their service was equally excellent for the free soak off. There was NO pushy sale of any services as well. It was a very good experience and I will definitely return. ?

    This is why I am writing this review and I want to recommend this place after visiting them for their manicure and pedicure and returning a few months later for a free gel soak off. ?

    Victoria runs a small and beautiful nail salon that is comfortable and clean to sit in. Booking appointments are easy, the nail technician doing my nails took her time and the end result and care was really high quality. Victoria also offered a birthday package a day early given I couldn’t book mani and pedi together, so thoughtful and even comes with brownies from a local small business. Strongly recommend!

    I’ve been a loyal patron of 8twenty8 Nails for a while now because they are professional and can do the best nail art in town! Not only that their space is a pristine sanctuary and nowadays that is a very important thing. I’m pretty sure I will not be visiting another nail parlour on the island when Victoria and her team run such a tight (and calm) ship!
