What is Jaw line botox?
Jawline botox is a medical procedure where Botox is injected along the jawline and into specific muscle groups to help restore a more youthful appearance. This is an effective alternative to permanent jawline contouring which is often associated with surgical complications and prolonged recovery time.
What exactly does Jawline Botox do? (Includes the parts of body it is for)
Botulinum toxin (Botox), an FDA approved drug, is administered to selectively control the reduction of the masseter muscle. The lower half of the muscle can be effectively reduced, leading to the jawline being more well-contoured, leaving a sculpted appearance.
Is there any side effects of Jawline Botox?
Like any other medical procedure, there are some risks associated with Jawline botox treatments. After jawline botox treatment, it is common for individuals to experience fatigue during excessive chewing. Another side effect is the decreased force when biting. Other side effects include bruising, infection, and drooping skin. Your doctor will be able to advise you on the serious side effects linked to botox poisoning if too much toxin is injected at once.
What are the reasons not to get Jawline Botox?
As the results are not permanent, these treatment sessions have to be repeated at least twice annually, until the desired results are achieved.
Is there any downtime?
There is practically no downtime at all. However, patients are advised not to chew excessively for the next 48h after treatment.
Who is Jawline Botox for?
Jawline Botox is suitable for both female and male clients. As the saying goes – how people interact with you is influenced by your impression on them. If you want to leave a lasting impression, always appear at your best.
For female clients, those who wish to achieve a symmetric “egg” face shape will pursue this treatment. Asian females are often said to have facial beauty because of the results from jawline botox.
For male clients, it is no longer a dream to also have a perfect, sculpted jawline similar to K-drama idols.
We are here to help you achieve your best looking goals. Schedule a consultation session today and let us show you how.
How long will the result of Jawline Botox last?
Typically, the effects will last for 3-6 months. If clients do not have much concern over your appearance in the interim period, it is possible to opt for annual touch-ups.
Do note that the common factors affecting its lifespan include the person’s age, skin type and lifestyle.
What are the benefits of Jawline Botox.
Other than the after effects of a more youthful appearance, Jawline Botox injections require minimal downtime, allowing patients to resume normal activities immediately following injections.
This is also a time-saving alternative to plastic surgery, with no or slight downtime.
How long is the treatment?
Each treatment is a simple, non-invasive procedure that only takes 15 minutes to complete.
How much does it cost?
Each treatment typically costs $500-$750/syringe.
Who is a good candidate
Jawline botox is especially useful for candidates who have frequent muscle spasms. However, this procedure is also often sought by clients who would like to have a more youthful look, but have been told they are too young for a facelift. Anyone who does not prefer plastic surgery, or potential stitches or scarring can consider jawline botox procedures.
Arrange a consultation session with our doctors today to understand how we can help you achieve your beauty goals.
Procedure steps
During the procedure, your doctor will use a topical anesthetic application for 10 minutes. Next, he will advise you to clench your teeth tightly so that the jaw muscles can be palpated. Three equidistant points are marked parallel to the inferior border of the masseter, and the doctor will
simply inject botulinum toxin into these three points along your jawline.
After all three points are injected, the botulinum toxin is gently massaged along the jawline. Your will be instructed to avoid excessive chewing for the next 48 hours.
Is it worth it to get Jawline Botox treatment?
Some people are hesitant about receiving Jawline botox treatments. There is no need to worry, as Botox is an FDA approved drug that is injected into specific facial muscle groups and is safe to use. In fact, professional dermatologists have been using this type of treatment for over 20 years.
Is the treatment safe?
The popularity of jawline botox procedures has increased in recent years. It has been deemed as one of the fastest growing cosmetic treatments in the United States
